Dejligt ophold på værelse med udsigt til Rhinen. Gode senge og fint badeværelse. Fint at gå langs Rhinen til andre små byer og tage en af færgerne, der sejler hele tiden til den anden bred. Godt og roligt kvarter. Desværre var det for koldt til at nogle af udendørs faciliteterne var åbne. Kunne se at der var mange udefra der også gik forgæves. Går man lidt op i byen, er der flere gode restauranter. Vi spiste en aften på Redüttchen Restaurant og det var fremragende, men i den dyre ende.

Härligt gammaldags hotell som vi besökte för andra gången. Praktiskt med intilliggande Biergarten, där man kan få tysk korv och potatissallad och barn kan leka medan vuxna tar en öl och tittar på alla båtar som passerar på Rhen. Läget är toppen men tack för GPS för lite svårt stt hitta! Vårt ”lyxrum” med balkong var fint, och rent men hade en konstig lukt när vi först kom in. Vädrades dock bort! Jag rekommenderar gärna hotellet!!

The riverside location is wonderful, but that's about the only real positive. The rooms we had were very small, had no view whatsoever and suffered from noise nuisance from some sort of machinery. There is no hotel bar, incredible for a 4* hotel. The Gobelin restaurant has a lovely view over the river, but the menu is very limited, prices quite steep, and the quality of food and service not great. There's a beer garden directly next to the hotel which has a nice atmosphere, but requires good weather. Easy street side parking in the hotel area.

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Rhein ist wunderschön. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einem Boxspringbett. Parken in unmittelbarer Nähe kostenfrei. Das Frühstücksbuffett bietet eine sehr große Auswahl und ist sehr lecker. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen.

Prima locatie en gratis parkeren in de garage. De kamer is goed maar gedateerd (superiorkamer). De ligging is rustig en mooi met uitzicht op de Rijn. Goede (aparte) douche. Een prima ervaring.

Wunderschönes, geschichtsträchtiges Hotel mit allem Komfort. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, tolles Frühstück, einladender Biergarten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Traditionshotel liegt genial direkt am Rheinufer mit Blick u.a. auf den Petersberg und das Siebengebirge. Der Empfang war in Ordnung, aber ... mit Hi eine ältere Dame zu begrüßen ;-) .. auch musste ich um Info zum Hotel bitten (WLAN, Essen, ...), sie wurde mir nicht selbständig gegeben. Spätere Kontakte am Empfang waren sehr freundlich/angenehm/aufmerksam. Zimmer und Bad ausreichend. Sehr schönes, gemütliches, großes Bett. Sehr ruhig. Der kleine Biergarten ist toll, mit gutem, kleinem Angebot und fairen Preisen. Der Kastaniengarten (wohl auch ein Eventgarten normalerweise) ist wohl gerade im Umbau (eher Baustelle). Im Restaurant stimmen Preis und Leistung nicht überein. Der Oberkellner hat sehr gut reagiert, aber das hat leider den Abend auch nicht gerettet - schade, ich war sehr enttäuscht. Gutes Frühstück am Buffet. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Leider war die Begrüßung beim Ankommen weit davon entfernt sich zu freuen, dass neue Gäste kommen!! Im Zimmer lagen noch alte Putzlappen und die Bettbezüge hatten Flecken!! Beim Frühstück wurden wir getränkemässig vergessen, aber nach all den Vorkommnissen waren wir nicht mehr überrascht! Fazit:! Preis- Leistung ist für dieses Hotel nicht stimmig!!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist das Hotel von außen immer noch toll anzusehen. Die Lage ist ein Traum! Die Zimmer zur Rheinseite sicher empfehlenswert. Unser Zimmer war renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer hingegen alt und unkomfortabel. Es fehlte am Nötigsten. So war beispielsweise das Duschgel nicht aufgefüllt, was aber erst beim Duschen bemerkt wurde. Das Zimmer zum „Innenhof“ war überheizt und sehr dunkel. Leider konnten wir das Fenster nachts nicht offen lassen, da es regnete und der Regen laut auf die Metallrohre prasselte. Das Frühstück war okay aber nicht herausragend. Es gab es an einem Samstagmorgen keinen Kakao für Kinder. „Der wird erst geliefert“.

We have stayed at the Rheinhotel Dreesen many times and the staff is without fail friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, pretty, fastidiously clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast spread is wonderful and you're dining in a spectacular room with huge windows looking out over the river and across at castle-topped hills. It's definitely worth springing for a room with a balcony on the river if you can swing it -- gorgeous sunrises, glittering lights at night, boats and swans passing by. The rooms facing the street are nice too -- beautiful huge trees outside and there's no street noise at all. The neighborhood is exceptionally lovely, quiet, and very safe, and you're in easy walking distance to many wonderful small shops and restaurants as well as the Bad Godesberg train station.

Mooi hotel met historie. Ontbijt heerlijk en ook het diner was van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Kamer was zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Das Hotel ist doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Und es roch bei uns auf dem Balkon stark nach Gulli…auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass die Dachrinne wohl verschmutzt sei und in den nächsten Tagen gereinigt wird. Das nützt uns jedoch wenig und nahm wirklich viel vom Charme der Lage, da es keinen Spaß machte, auf dem Balkon zu sitzen. Beim Frühstück war das Buffet nur unzureichend nachgefüllt. Die Chefin gab sich redlich Mühe, war jedoch aufgrund von Personalmangel auch überfordert. Mein bestelltes Ei kam eine halbe Stunde später. An diesem Tag hörte ich einige Gäste schimpfen. Wir hatten wohl ein schlechtes Wochenende erwischt. Zum Positiven: die Lage ist bezaubernd!

Absolutely wonderful hotel right on the rhein river! Wish we had more than 1 night, will definitely be going back. Our room was very grand with a balcony. And the beds were one of the most comfortable we've been on in awhile. Breakfast was included and had many options, tasting delicious!

Our room was facing the Danube River. It had two balconies! Very spacious and comfortable. Dining was excellent! You need to make reservations as well. Staff was friendly and professional.

Leider war die Begrüßung beim Ankommen weit davon entfernt sich zu freuen, dass neue Gäste kommen!! Im Zimmer lagen noch alte Putzlappen und die Bettbezüge hatten Flecken!! Beim Frühstück wurden wir getränkemässig vergessen, aber nach all den Vorkommnissen waren wir nicht mehr überrascht! Fazit:! Preis- Leistung ist für dieses Hotel nicht stimmig!!

Wir hatten Supertage im Hotel Dreesen, Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Zimmer waren hervorragend alles bestens. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war der Check out Prozess, da gab es unterschiedliche Auffassungen zu den gebuchten Leistungen Stichwort Business Package.

We have stayed at the Rheinhotel Dreesen many times and the staff is without fail friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, pretty, fastidiously clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast spread is wonderful and you're dining in a spectacular room with huge windows looking out over the river and across at castle-topped hills. It's definitely worth springing for a room with a balcony on the river if you can swing it -- gorgeous sunrises, glittering lights at night, boats and swans passing by. The rooms facing the street are nice too -- beautiful huge trees outside and there's no street noise at all. The neighborhood is exceptionally lovely, quiet, and very safe, and you're in easy walking distance to many wonderful small shops and restaurants as well as the Bad Godesberg train station.

Die erforderlichen Modernisierungen werden vorsichtig und mit Rücksicht auf die Authentizität des alten Charme durchgeführt. Man wird sehr freundlich und kompetent empfangen, das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein entspannter Aufenthalt mit einem sehr guten Abendessen. Und es roch bei uns auf dem Balkon stark nach Gulli…auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass die Dachrinne wohl verschmutzt sei und in den nächsten Tagen gereinigt wird. Das nützt uns jedoch wenig und nahm wirklich viel vom Charme der Lage, da es keinen Spaß machte, auf dem Balkon zu sitzen. Beim Frühstück war das Buffet nur unzureichend nachgefüllt. Die Chefin gab sich redlich Mühe, war jedoch aufgrund von Personalmangel auch überfordert. Mein bestelltes Ei kam eine halbe Stunde später. An diesem Tag hörte ich einige Gäste schimpfen. Wir hatten wohl ein schlechtes Wochenende erwischt. Zum Positiven: die Lage ist bezaubernd!

In den Unterlagen bei elektronischer Buchung wird die Adresse Bonn als Stadt angegeben, offenbar gibt es auch in Bonn oder einem anderen Teilort eine Rheinstrasse, das GPS hat uns deshalb im ersten Anlauf nicht nach Bad Godesberg geführt, ein Taxifahrer hat uns geholfen, es musste ergänzend ein Anruf in der Rezeption getätigt werden. Vielleicht hilft ein Hinweis für die Anfahrt als GPS Einstellung Bad Godesberg Rheinstraße.

Härligt gammaldags hotell som vi besökte för andra gången. Praktiskt med intilliggande Biergarten, där man kan få tysk korv och potatissallad och barn kan leka medan vuxna tar en öl och tittar på alla båtar som passerar på Rhen. Läget är toppen men tack för GPS för lite svårt stt hitta! Vårt ”lyxrum” med balkong var fint, och rent men hade en konstig lukt när vi först kom in. Vädrades dock bort! Jag rekommenderar gärna hotellet!!

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Rhein ist wunderschön. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einem Boxspringbett. Parken in unmittelbarer Nähe kostenfrei. Das Frühstücksbuffett bietet eine sehr große Auswahl und ist sehr lecker. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen.

Ein Haus mit soviel Tradition sollte man besucht haben. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber vielleicht ist das gerade der Charme. Und die direkte Lage am Rhein entschädigt dafür umso mehr.

Dieses historische Hotel ist leider ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und hat im Vergleich von vor 6 Jahren leider nachgelassen, vor allem beim Frühstück. Dieses ist seine 23 Euro nicht wert, da es mittlerweile nur noch Mittelklasse ist. Früher gab es Krabben, frisch an einer Station vor Augen zubereitetes Omelette, Sekt und exklusive Käsesorten, heute u.a. nur Standard-Aufschnitt und Rührei in der Bain-Marie.auch das frische Obst ist der 08/15-Obstsalat, wie in anderen Standard-Hotelketten auch Für Wellness muss man in ein einige Kilometer entfernte Fitness-Wellnessstudio. Hier würden wir nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass montags dort immer nur Damensauna ist. Sehr hervorzuheben ist jedoch die ausgezeichnete Küche am Abend. Sehr empfehlenswert und lecker!

The riverside location is wonderful, but that's about the only real positive. The rooms we had were very small, had no view whatsoever and suffered from noise nuisance from some sort of machinery. There is no hotel bar, incredible for a 4* hotel. The Gobelin restaurant has a lovely view over the river, but the menu is very limited, prices quite steep, and the quality of food and service not great. There's a beer garden directly next to the hotel which has a nice atmosphere, but requires good weather. Easy street side parking in the hotel area.

Das Haus atmet Geschichte, allein das ist schon einen Besuch wert. Aber auch davon unabhängig ist das Dreesen ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einer super Lage direkt am Rhein mit Blick aufs Siebengebirge. Was besonders gefällt ist der perfekte Service und das Essen. Ich habe selten eine so ausgewogene Karte gesehen. Hier findet sich etwas für jeden Geschmack!

Mooi hotel met historie. Ontbijt heerlijk en ook het diner was van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Kamer was zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Das Traditionshotel liegt genial direkt am Rheinufer mit Blick u.a. auf den Petersberg und das Siebengebirge. Der Empfang war in Ordnung, aber ... mit Hi eine ältere Dame zu begrüßen ;-) .. auch musste ich um Info zum Hotel bitten (WLAN, Essen, ...), sie wurde mir nicht selbständig gegeben. Spätere Kontakte am Empfang waren sehr freundlich/angenehm/aufmerksam. Zimmer und Bad ausreichend. Sehr schönes, gemütliches, großes Bett. Sehr ruhig. Der kleine Biergarten ist toll, mit gutem, kleinem Angebot und fairen Preisen. Der Kastaniengarten (wohl auch ein Eventgarten normalerweise) ist wohl gerade im Umbau (eher Baustelle).
