Die Lage des IntercityHotels Bonn ist grundsätzlich gut, allerdings etwas tricky zu erreichen. Die Tiefgarage ist praktisch, aber mit 20 € pro Nacht aus unserer Sicht recht teuer. Als wir bei der Anreise vor der Schranke standen, wurden wir zunächst etwas unfreundlich empfangen – es wurde hinterfragt, wer wir überhaupt seien und was wir wollen, obwohl die Zufahrt klar als Hotelzufahrt gekennzeichnet ist und wir direkt dort standen. Begründet wurde das mit Problemen durch externe Parker, dennoch hätte man das freundlicher lösen können. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, funktional eingerichtet, das Bett bequem und das Bad völlig ausreichend. Leider ließ sich das Fenster nicht öffnen, was an der Rezeption zunächst nicht ernst genommen wurde – man schlug uns sogar vor, „mit Schmackes“ daran zu ziehen. Erst nach mehreren Versuchen und Besuchen von Servicekräften sowie dem Rezeptionisten wurde bestätigt, dass das Fenster tatsächlich defekt war. Da wir nur zwei Nächte geblieben sind, war das für uns in Ordnung, aber ein wenig ärgerlich war es trotzdem. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, da es in der Umgebung genug Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Auch die Innenstadt ist gut erreichbar – ein klarer Pluspunkt. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt solide, aber mit kleinen Schwächen im Service und Komfort. Für uns reicht es daher nicht für einen weiteren Besuch – wir würden beim nächsten Mal eine andere Unterkunft wählen.

Hotel war ganz normal für ein Businesshotel mit einem sehr guten Frühstück. Leider hat das Hotel seit 2 Wochen IT Probleme und stellt daher nur Wifi in der Lobby zur Verfügung ohne vorab zu informieren. Eine Entschädigung verweigert Intercity Hotels. Das ist absolut nicht tragbar für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel! Andere Hotels geben wenigstens an, wenn sie nur in der Lobby Wifi haben, aber hier wird es verschwiegen und als Standard hingestellt.

Insgesamt hat uns es wieder sehr gut gefallen. Allerdings wäre es toll, wenn bei der Zimmerreinigung nach drei Nächten nicht nur die Handtücher ausgetauscht und Betten gemacht werden, sondern auch mal das Zimmer und das Bad gesaugt/gewischt werden.

The worst house keeping I have ever had. Left my towel on the floor along with the floor towel. The cleaner put the floor towel back on the shelf and my towel folded back on the radiator. Didnt even bother to swap for a new one after both were clearly left to swap over.

Sehr freundlicher Service im Essbereich und Rezeption/ Frühstücksbuffet hervorragend, sehr vielfältig, frischzubereitet, kein Verpackungsmüll / Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, super schallisoliert, gute Matratze / leider nur 1 Kopfkissen, für mich viel zu weich / Zimmertemperatur zu hoch (trotz mäßiger Aussentemperatur) ließ sich durch Klima-anlage auch nicht runtersteuern, defekt? Wir haben in der Rezeption Bescheid gegeben dass der Techniker diese überprüfen müsste.

I expected much more for the price paid. The location is very good, as the hotel is situated only a few meters from the central station. The rooms, including the bathrooms, are spacious; however, the furniture is outdated and not particularly aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast quality is below average, and the dining room lacks a cozy or welcoming atmosphere. This is just a personal anecdote that did not influence my review: I was actually scolded by a staff member for drinking “too much” bottled water. Gutes Hotel direkt am Hauptbahnhof Bonn. Frühstück sehr gut. Saubere Zimmer. Leider ist die Heizung nicht regelbar.Sehr warme und trockene Luft im Zimmer. Deswegen mussten wir das Fenster nachts auf lassen,wodurch man wiederum durch Lärm gestört wurde. Ansonsten top.Sehr zentral in der Innenstadt.

The organic market next to the hotel helps a lot. Breakfast is excellent. Breakfast is free for kids. There is kettle and refrigerator in the room. The room space is amazing among Europe hotels. Die Unterkunft hat uns im Großen und Ganzen gefallen. Das Personal ist leider sehr zurückhaltend und spricht zum Beispiel beim Frühstück niemanden an, ein „guten Morgen“ währe aber irgendwie schon nett, nur wenn man etwas „falsch“ macht wird man direkt angemeckert (falsche Tasse unter der Kaffeemaschine), schwierig. Wenn man mit Kind (5 Jahre) anreist (man hat auch für alle gebucht) geht das Hotel davon aus dass man zu dritt im 1,40 Bett schläft, nur auf Nachfrage bekommt man ein Zustellbett.

I have stayed in a number of the Intercity hotels. As with the others, this hotel combines a good standard with a competitive price. The rooms are of a decent size and are well equipped. The breakfast option is good, and there is a wide variety of choices. I particularly liked the fact that the rolls and croissants were warm and freshly baked. Staff are friendly and informative. Transport links couldn't be better.
