The staff were totally terrific and lovely, sadly the hotel is over hyped. It is clearly not a four star hotel and so we were disappointed. It is on a busy main road (not pretty), parking is limited and the reality is one must walk to a huge parking lot up the street. This is fine but it is a little more hassle. The swimming pool has seen better days and looks better in the photo. It feels like a premier inn which is ok, but the internet descriptions really make this hotel to be better than it is. If you want a mid range standard hotel with no frills then go ahead, but if you are thinking 4 star luxury this is not the place for you. That said, the staff were so helpful and kind that it took the edge off the disappointment !

The gym was nicely outfitted with free weights, elliptical and rowing. The pool looked inviting. Breakfast had a hot offering of hash browns, eggs, beans and bacon. The cold offering was bread, cheese, yogurt, cold cuts and cold cereal. Coffee machine for espresso etc. They even had champagne for mimosas Easily walkable to town

We had a lovely stay. The family room was great and we all enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was more continental than cooked, but many many continental options. The beds were very comfortable. A little tatty around the edges in the room, but I'm not complaining - it was clean, comfortable, had dressing gowns and slippers and a minibar in the room which was reasonably priced too. Very close to 't Zand where we parked overnight, and very reasonably priced later check out times too. Would stay again!
