Great hotel - highly recommend. The on-site facilities are amazing and the food is fantastic. The only small feedback is the area where the hotel is situated isn't great and it's near a school so gets very busy traffic at times during the day.

The hotel was great, in a good location, with attentive staff who went out of their way at all times, even if just to smile and say good morning. In addition, Dahy on the travel desk was a big help planning day trips.

Great hotel and a lot of stuff inside like restaurant, coffee shop, bar, dry cleaning, gym, and tour guides. But once you step outside you get the honking, high traffic, and car fumes. To be expected anywhere you go there. Good hotel but you can see everything worth it in 2 days (pyramids, sphinx, museum, local cuisine) so dont stay longer then you need to. I felt safe walking around and people outside local market vendors were really nice. Easy subway to use also.

This hotel was located in Zamelek island area-touristic safer quieter location. It was clean, little outdated, good view from window, had spa and coffee shop on site. They let us leave luggage after checkout while we took a day toor. The area felt safer than downtown, not close to any sightseeing. You would need to take taxi to go everywhere.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Zamalek, close to many local restaurants, sights, and shops. The staff is very friendly and eager to help, although better attention to detail is needed. If I asked for something through the front desk, I might have to call again and chase; room service one day forgot to leave any towels in the room. These are very minor, but noticeable things (yes, after a shower you'll feel it if you're missing towels!). The onsite restaurant is great for a varied menu and breakfast, while there's also a French bakery at the ground floor serving lovely pastries. The one big issue we had regarded the cleanliness of the floors, which was... not good. The floors in our room were laminate of some sort, and the bottoms of our feet were black after walking barefoot for a few minutes. I witnessed room service cleaning it using some sort detergent, but the grime was such that the cleaning product seems to just accumulate in dusty layers. Anyway, be ready to clean your feet often, and wear the slippers provided (yes, they do provide these!) Aside from the floor cleanliness part, I was very happy with my stay and would consider returning again as it was a good price for thr location and overall quality.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the President hotel. For me the fitness center was very important. The room, my bed were excellent to have a good rest. If I had the opportunity to come back to Cairo, I would stay at the President Hotel again. The cleaning in some spots could be much better but I know it is a general problem in all Egypt.

Have been visiting Egypt for 12 years on business and been trying to find a hotel that reflects the price paid. I stayed here because Marriott is now charging $300 versus this at around $200. I think both are very overpriced. This hotel has some good elements… the breakfast was the best I’ve had in Egypt. There is a dedicated showers rather than a bath with a curtain. But: … The internet speed is consistently terrible. When there is any internet at all. There is no excuse for this since internet is a cheap fix. … carpets need to be vacuumed … the shower gels and shampoos look used, and cheap … it is very noisy … reception is on the ground floor, rooms are on 10/11/12. There is one small elevator (and a staff one). So wait times can be more than 5 minutes. … most room fittings seem very cheap

So the rooms were really nice in this newly renovated area of the hotel. The staff was great. Only two problems we had were: 1. We were on the 10th floor and the restaurant was on the 11th so you could hear a lot of chairs sliding and foot traffic noise. 2. The room door key did not work so it was an inconvenience to get someone with a master key to open the room every time. Other than that I would stay here again but on a different floor with a key that worked!!!

AMAZING. I would give 10 stars if I could. They were very professional and kind and so helpful! The housekeepers were great. Rooms were beautiful and well kept, clean, and astonishing view from the balcony. Zamalek can be noisy but you don’t hear much sound in the rooms so it’s nice and quiet for the most part. Me and my husband LOVED it and we will be coming back! Thank you for making sure we had a nice experience!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the president hotel. The staff were really friendly and we were thankful to be able to check in early after a long flight that arrived at 5am. This cost an additional $40 which we didn't think was unreasonable. The overall experience was great. The neighbourhood was great and very walkable with some nice restaurants by the Nile in close proximity. There was a bit of noise from the local school but nothing that kept us awake. The air conditioning in the room wasn't the greatest and the safe didn't have any batteries, so we couldn't use that. Staff did offer to help but we decided against it. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Zamalek.

카이로 5일여행을 자말렉zamalek에 위치한 president 호텔에서 머물렀어요. 근처 메트로도있고 여러나라 대사관도있고 카페와 식당들도 많고 좋았어요. 호텔 룸 샤워공간이 조금 협소한게 불편했지만 다른건 불편한게없었네요.

Our stay at The President Hotel was lovely. We were only in Cairo for 2 nights but this was the perfect base. The hotel itself is really nicely decorated with everything you could need. The staff were super helpful and always there in case we needed anything, especially the reception team. Breakfast in the Terrace bar was really good and portions were also a really good size. A special shout out to Dahy who arranged our trip to the Pyramids, he sorted everything at really short notice and kept checking on us throughout the day to make sure we were ok. A lovely place to stay

I stayed in this hotel on two separate nights. The first night was in a horribly noisy room and the second night was in an overly hot room in which the AC was not working. In both cases the staff make a show of doing something about the problem, but nothing gets done. The AC repairman came into the room, made a mess removing a panel, then disappeared after concluding that the problem was "downstairs." I was not offered a different room or even an apology and the AC was still broken the next morning. The bellboy watched me carry my heavy suitcases by myself up several flights of stairs into the hotel then expected a tip for rolling them into the elevator and into my room, which I could have done by myself with less effort and delay. The front desk staff need to be trained to speak with guests more politely (yelling "passport" at me during checkin is very rude). Also, giving a person's room key to the bellboy instead of the guest who is checking in is highly inappropriate. I only selected this hotel for its location, but I don't think I'll book with them again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the president hotel. The staff were really friendly and we were thankful to be able to check in early after a long flight that arrived at 5am. This cost an additional $40 which we didn't think was unreasonable. The overall experience was great. The neighbourhood was great and very walkable with some nice restaurants by the Nile in close proximity. There was a bit of noise from the local school but nothing that kept us awake. The air conditioning in the room wasn't the greatest and the safe didn't have any batteries, so we couldn't use that. Staff did offer to help but we decided against it. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Zamalek.

This hotel was located in Zamelek island area-touristic safer quieter location. It was clean, little outdated, good view from window, had spa and coffee shop on site. They let us leave luggage after checkout while we took a day toor. The area felt safer than downtown, not close to any sightseeing. You would need to take taxi to go everywhere.

Great hotel - highly recommend. The on-site facilities are amazing and the food is fantastic. The only small feedback is the area where the hotel is situated isn't great and it's near a school so gets very busy traffic at times during the day.

Our stay at The President Hotel was lovely. We were only in Cairo for 2 nights but this was the perfect base. The hotel itself is really nicely decorated with everything you could need. The staff were super helpful and always there in case we needed anything, especially the reception team. Breakfast in the Terrace bar was really good and portions were also a really good size. A special shout out to Dahy who arranged our trip to the Pyramids, he sorted everything at really short notice and kept checking on us throughout the day to make sure we were ok. A lovely place to stay

By lack of attention to detail I’m referring to the room’s stained mirror, dripping air conditioner, window left open and difficult to close properly, and no cups to drink the complimentary tea and coffee from. However, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast selection was pretty good. Sadly, the fool beans were runny and unappetising and there was no hummus. The coffee wasn’t very good. All in all, it’s ok but could be much better.

I recommend staying at the President Hotel Cairo. The restaurant on the top floor, where breakfast and dinner are served, is very cozy and serves good food. The lobby is clean and tidy but after that the hotel is in need of a very deep clean. Hallway carpets, walls, room floors and bathrooms are all very dirty. The staff were polite and chatty, no issues there.

Hotel location was ideal for our trips. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels. If ever back in Cairo would consider staying there again. I would recommend they consider some of the charges, appreciate they are a business and need to make money but also need to look after their customers. For example a taxi to the airport was equivelent to £26, compared to Uber at £5 Otherwise very pleasant safe stay
