This ryokan was truly extraordinary — hands down the best resort experience I've ever had. The onsens were incredible, with so many to choose from, each offering a different way to unwind. The kaiseki dinner was a highlight in itself — beautifully presented, course after course of exceptional food. Room service was thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. Set right by the river, the whole property immerses you in Japanese culture and hospitality in the most authentic way. Everything about it — the setting, the onsens, the food, the service — came together for an unforgettable experience. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Staff were excellent, polite, attentive, prompt in response. Room was large, quite dated though and could use updating, especially the bathroom. Waste basket in bathroom was toy sized. Onsen baths were great, nice and ample facilities. Meals were excellent; attended by great staffs.
