Let's be honest it's basically but is suitable for those looking for short break, the main station is opposite high street a short walk plenty of restaurants near by, yes the breakfast is basic but it does as to the manager very helpful always with a smile

The staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast basic but fresh and regularly re stocked. The hotel its self if quite old and run down but for the price I wasnt expecting anything other than basic. We would definitely use the hotel again for a few hours sleep on a journey, but its not a holiday hotel in my opinion.

Staff were not very helpful, room needs to be updated, shower curtain needs to be replaced, radiator and remote control had tape on them to keep them together, no toilet roll holder, mattress was uncomfortable both bathroom towels were old and should have been replaced long ago, nothing at all was like in the photos, was charged for parking, the bar had nothing on the shelf and we were not asked if we wanted breakfast, we will not be back

Listen the staff (one person) was nice the last time we were there but there were bedbugs. The place is covered in cracks and monitors to check if the subsidence, structural instability is getting worse and there are bed bugs They couldn’t be contacted about complaints after our first visit so we weren’t refunded for this second visit which we did not make because of bed bugs. I tried to get help with a refund because of the bed bugs, but didn’t succes. It is central but has bed bugs. It is near the Euro tunnel and has bed bugs. It is basic accommodation and has bed bugs. Some other low reviews found this place to feel unsafe , I didn’t but I get why. I wouldn’t stay here without some sort of protective suit that you could burn as you leave. If you’re driving you could just sleep outside in the locked car park it seemed secure in a slightly alarming about the neighbourhood kind of way, No air conditioning but it does say that somewhere in the listing that probably helps the bed bugs. Nice and toasty

I find the hotel to be good value although with no air conditioning it may prove uncomfortable but nevertheless very convenient for the city centre.
