Overall, a very good hotel. We like the location and the staff. We have extended our stay here but 2 more nights, but in a bigger room, with a view. Parking was inadequate, and it didn't help that everyday, there are at least one imbecile who would take up more than one space. They do have a lower lot, but it's not easy to get in and out of it. The breakfast buffet is very nice.

This place has a deceptive announcement of the look and facilities for their hotel. 1: it has limited parking that it is hard to get in and out of. 2: there is no elevators and it is not mentioned anywhere in their website. 3: there is no air conditioning for the rooms. You have to keep your window, and the room door open to get airflow. 4: due to opening said window, now you won’t be able to sleep since there is a night club across the street, and it is LOUD AS HELL!!! You will have a hard time getting any sleep since that place does not close until 4 am. 1/2 of the rooms are to that side of the hotel. BEWARE. 5: they offer the opportunity to get coffee at the bar since they have a very nice expresso machine, well that is also broken, so had to go out to the city to get a cup of coffee!!! The pictures in any site for this place are professional and make it look great, but it is old and antiquated at best. By a wide margine, the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I have traveled across the world.

Très bon hôtel à Castro, proche du centre ville à pied tout en étant très calme. Le seul petit bémol concerne le coin spa qui serait à refaire. Mais sinon le reste de l'hôtel est top, notamment la literie qui est très qualitative ! Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel sont excellents !

Las habitaciones muy malas, baño pequeño y incómodo y, cuando desde otra habitación hacían uso del baño, se perdía la presión y la temperatura del agua en el nuestro, armario inutilizable, cama incómoda, además se oyen todos los ruidos tanto de dentro como de fuera del hotel. Spa aceptable, sauna finlandesa y sauna de vapor, piscina climatizada que ya necesita una actualización, un jacuzzi que no soltaba burbujas y con mucho olor cloro. Desayuno aceptable, pero con poca variedad y muy repetitivo. Estacionamiento en la entrada del hotel con plazas bastante justas para los coches. No hay ascensor para subir a las plantas superiores y el botones no tiene iniciativa ninguna para ayudar con las maletas, de hecho las tuvimos que subir nosotros. No repetiría para un próximo viaje. El personal de recepción muy bien, resolutivo y atento.

Muy grata estadía. Todos muy amables. Nos quedamos en una suite grande, muy limpio y para ser invierno la temperatura del hotel era maravillosa. Disfrutamos del sauna, la piscina y el jacuzzi de afuera. Los valores extras del spa y del bar eran muy accesibles y hasta económicos :) volveremos, nada que envidiarle a su competencia como Enjoy

We originally booked 3 nights, and we're in the old wing. Then, we extended for 2 more nights and stayed in the newer wing, for US$30 more per night. Totally worth it!!! What a view!!! We could just watch the wild life and sunrise from our sofa. The newer wing has an elevator and bigger rooms. Highly recommended!

O hotel me surpreendeu, ficamos em um quarto com vista para o lago e era deslumbrante. O bar também era super agradável e fomo muito bem atendidos, comendo um peixe empanado com papas fritas que estava delicioso. O café da manhã deixou a desejar, poucas opções de pães e frutas e achei muito fraco para o porte do hotel. Afora isso o quarto era espaçoso e as roupas de cama e banho eram ótimos.

La experiencia fue mala, tuvimos de cambiar de habitación, en la primera habitación, la tasa del baño no funciono, el agua fría tampoco , la calefacción demasiado fuerte, no se pudo bajar, la segunda habitación, parte nueva del hotel, mejoro bastante, también la calefacción fuerte, tuvimos que regularla abriendo la ventana, poca presión de agua.

lo único que considero mal, fue que el sábado fue feriado nacional y el hotel no conto con personal para atender el bar y poder disponer de otras alternativas en vez de comida formal. Lo otro, fue el aseo en las áreas comunes, bastante mal, ceniceros sucios, colillas de cigarro en el suelo.

Servicio y limpieza excelentes, lo malo que en la habitacion que nos hospedamos no se podía descansar bien...ya que se escuchaba todo el ruido de la recepcion, comedor, pasillos y además las descargas del wc de la habitacion vecina, que por lo demás eran bastantes ruidosas a tal punto de que despertabamos en la noche con los golpes que daba. Lo que destacamos con mi hijo de esta visita, la atencion en general del personal del hotel, muy amables y atentos con los huéspedes.
Servicio y limpieza excelentes, lo malo que en la habitacion que nos hospedamos no se podía descansar bien...ya que se escuchaba todo el ruido de la recepcion, comedor, pasillos y además las descargas del wc de la habitacion vecina, que por lo demás eran bastantes ruidosas a tal punto de que despertabamos en la noche con los golpes que daba. Beautiful architecture that has been left to crumble. The entire hotel needs an overhaul. Room are small, uncomfortable and outdated. Strong sewage smell in bathroom that could not be rectified. Noisy inside and outside of the hotel so you could not leave the windows open at night and there is no air conditioning.

There was fungus in the bathroom, in the shower and walls. Restaurant menu has a wide variety of food and drinks, service at the restaurant very nice, perfect. We had an issue but there was responsibility of the front desk, they did not take the guarantee of my stay and gave me the room key anyway. The person who was on night shift call us at 00.30am yelling at the phone to inform us the inconvenient they have and hang up meanwhile he was speaking on the phone. Front Desk knew that we leave next day at 06.00am, we notice that at our check-in twice. Next day I paid directly and the person (old man) was not able to empathize nor apologize. That manner made our stay difficult to enjoy and none of us feel welcome, safe and confortable.

Beautiful architecture that has been left to crumble. The entire hotel needs an overhaul. Room are small, uncomfortable and outdated. Strong sewage smell in bathroom that could not be rectified. Noisy inside and outside of the hotel so you could not leave the windows open at night and there is no air conditioning.

We originally booked 3 nights, and we're in the old wing. Then, we extended for 2 more nights and stayed in the newer wing, for US$30 more per night. Totally worth it!!! What a view!!! We could just watch the wild life and sunrise from our sofa. The newer wing has an elevator and bigger rooms. Highly recommended!

En hotels.com se indica que el hotel cuenta con transporte desde y hacia aeropuerto incluido, pero al solicitarlo me dijeron que ya no entregaban ese servicio. Adicionalmente solicité una habitación en la que mi madre de 96 años no tuviera que subir escaleras, pero en habitaciones estandard no disponen de ascensor ni habitaciones en primer piso. Ojo, te hacen pagar doble impuesto en chile, ya lo había pagado a través de webpay y luego me lo volvieron a cobrar al ingresa el 19%. A demás nunca me entregaron boleta a pesar de haberla solicitado, No me entregaron boleta por el pago de la habitación y no me entregaron boleta por el pago efectivo del 2 IVA (19%)que realicé en recepción. There was fungus in the bathroom, in the shower and walls. Restaurant menu has a wide variety of food and drinks, service at the restaurant very nice, perfect. We had an issue but there was responsibility of the front desk, they did not take the guarantee of my stay and gave me the room key anyway. The person who was on night shift call us at 00.30am yelling at the phone to inform us the inconvenient they have and hang up meanwhile he was speaking on the phone. Front Desk knew that we leave next day at 06.00am, we notice that at our check-in twice. Next day I paid directly and the person (old man) was not able to empathize nor apologize. That manner made our stay difficult to enjoy and none of us feel welcome, safe and confortable.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel, l’architecture est exceptionnelle.!!! Malgré que nous n’avions pas choisi une chambre avec vue sur le fjord, nous avions une magnifique vue sur la baie. Son emplacement permet de visiter la ville à pied, ce qui selon nous un bel avantage.

This place has a deceptive announcement of the look and facilities for their hotel. 1: it has limited parking that it is hard to get in and out of. 2: there is no elevators and it is not mentioned anywhere in their website. 3: there is no air conditioning for the rooms. You have to keep your window, and the room door open to get airflow. 4: due to opening said window, now you won’t be able to sleep since there is a night club across the street, and it is LOUD AS HELL!!! You will have a hard time getting any sleep since that place does not close until 4 am. 1/2 of the rooms are to that side of the hotel. BEWARE. 5: they offer the opportunity to get coffee at the bar since they have a very nice expresso machine, well that is also broken, so had to go out to the city to get a cup of coffee!!! The pictures in any site for this place are professional and make it look great, but it is old and antiquated at best. By a wide margine, the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I have traveled across the world.

This was an older property with quaint charm on a high bluff with wonderful views of the water. We really liked this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Comfortable beds, decent quality linens, nice breakfast and good value for money. No elevator but someone on hand to carry bags.

If you are staying in Castro, this might be a good choice. It's an interesting building built into a hillside with views of the harbour. The building was well designed but it's a little bit tired now. Staff were reasonably helpful. There was parking off the street and secure. Right in the downtown, an easy walk to restaurants, stores, the Mercado, etc.

O hotel me surpreendeu, ficamos em um quarto com vista para o lago e era deslumbrante. O bar também era super agradável e fomo muito bem atendidos, comendo um peixe empanado com papas fritas que estava delicioso. O café da manhã deixou a desejar, poucas opções de pães e frutas e achei muito fraco para o porte do hotel. Afora isso o quarto era espaçoso e as roupas de cama e banho eram ótimos.

Overall, a very good hotel. We like the location and the staff. We have extended our stay here but 2 more nights, but in a bigger room, with a view. Parking was inadequate, and it didn't help that everyday, there are at least one imbecile who would take up more than one space. They do have a lower lot, but it's not easy to get in and out of it. The breakfast buffet is very nice.
