Nice and clean hotel. Very good breakfast with a large choice of hot and cold food. We booked to is hotel with the premise of parking, but were told we would need to park in a public garage upon arrival, costing us a lot extra to park in Bergen

Sehr nettes Hotel im Zentrum von Bergen. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Badezimmertür hat extrem gequietscht und war sehr verzogen (konnte nicht richtig geschlossen werden und ist aber auch immer von alleine aufgegangen). Parken in einer Garage ca. 600m vom Hotel für rund 240 NOK pro Tag - kurzes Halten vor dem Hotel zum Ausladen des Gepäcks möglich.

Laundry room should be cleaner. Also found a decent amount of long hairs in my shower drain from previous guest I assume. But overall a great place to stay. Breakfast there is great and fresh, and very convenient location.

Two great things: 1)Location, you can walk anywhere. 2) Breakfast was excellent, but get there early because the tables fill up. Parking was tough, and expensive. They don’t do maid service. Front desk was stressed with tour buses unloading 40 people that needed to be placed.

We chose this hotel over any other centrally located because of the “available” parking for a fee. It was hard to find. The reception was inside the next building. We couldn’t find where to check in. The signs were unclear, after walking around the whole block we finally found the other hotel where we needed to check in. We had our car, entered the reception, asked about parking. She guides us to the paid parking. I asked as many questions as I could think of and she wasn’t very helpful. We did everything like she said and turns out that she “forgot” to sign us ip for the discounted parking. Her excuse eventually she was busy. There was no one else there when we checked in! Again, we chose this hotel over others because we knew we would have a car. Her lack of care put a dent on our first night in Norway for sure. On the plus side, the breakfast was great!

A great location but the rooms are bit tight. Parking is limited and expensive. However there are parking garages nearby. Breakfast is the best, very convenient and walkable to all major attractions in Bergen.

Hyggelig resepsjonist, men rommet lukta skikkelig funky og «gammel innestengt luft» selv om vinduet stod åpent når vi kom. Sengene og hodeputene var veldig gode! Savnet VELDIG mørkleggingsgardiner, det var veldig lyst på rommet pga lyse gardiner. Frokosten var veldig deilig, den stod absolutt til forventningene med hotellfrokost :-D Badekaret spesielt, men badet generelt var ikke så godt rengjort så vi valgte å ikke bade/dusje hverken kvelden vi kom eller om morningen før vi dro. (Det låg et sånt seigt lag med kroppstalg/døde hudceller og endel hår rundt omkring i badekaret, ikke vårt) Det var også veldig kaldt på badegulvet, og det ble ikke varmt selv om jeg satte varmekablene på ca 25 grader ved ankomst. Ikke engang morningen etter var det blitt varmt. Savnet vannkoker og te oppe på rommet, det var kun tilgjengelig nede ved siden av resepsjonen. (Tungvint å gå fra 5.etg for å få seg en kopp varm te før sengetid). Det var også et minibarkjøleskap på rommet men det var helt tomt.

Dårlig lufting og varmt på rommet på en varm og solrik dag. Vasker ikke rom eller bytter håndklær før på tredje dag pga miljøvern, fint det men må gi beskjed om det på forhånd.

Overall good experience and great breakfast include! All the staff was very polite and great. Also a very great location to get around the city center. Only thing is they definitely need to work on some of the technology aspects: specifically the thermostat didn’t all for the heat to be turned off in my room and the internet cable to the tv was frayed/jerry rigged to the tv; therefore, I couldn’t cast from my phone to the tv when I wanted to wind down for the evening before bed.

Overall, we had a good stay as it was very convenient to anywhere. Only downside, the room is quite dark as lightngs were limited. There was no closet and the hanging hooks were not enough, room had many empty walls, should consider put up more hooks.

Kahvaltı süper otel konumu çok iyi otel temiz çalışanlar gayet yardımcı ve güler yüzlü. Olumsuz olarak kaldığımız oda çok küçüktü yataklar dardı fakat gayet rahattı odalarda buzdolabı yoktu bence en büyük eksik bu. Ve banyo çok küçüktü duşa kabin veya küvet yoktu dar bir alanda duş yapmak zorundasınız ve etrafa su sıçramasın diye bir perde var.

Best breakfast in Bergen. Lift out of action but receptionist carried my case up two flights of stairs. Staff very helpful and friendly. Called us a cab and let us make tea when we arrived back very wet. Really liked the ambience of the dining room beautifully decorated in modern Norwegian style. Well done we will be back.

Pretty hard to review the Heiman since they were not open when we booked it. No communication regarding this, just a sign on the door saying sorry we are closed please call this number. Mobile charges calling the number in the rain to find out we are further out of town than liked. Yet still nothing from the hotel.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Heimen Hotel while we visited Bergen. The hotel is located very near to the fish market and Bryggen, top tourist attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the daily breakfast with a wide choice of foods. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again if we ever are back in Bergen.

There were three of us staying in the room for a night. I was happy with it although my fellow travellers made some complaints about how basic the room was. Maybe they were affected by the luxury of the room in the hotel we had checked out from Oslo the previous day. Personally, I think the room offers all basic necessities for the traveller, a comfy bed and is well situated close to the heart of Bergen. Breakfast was just ok; both g to wrote home about. Overall. I would return on a potential subsequent visit. Ps. Photo is of beautiful Bergen, approximately a kilometre away from the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly, the decor is modern, and the whole hotel is very clean. My room was compact but had everything needed. The bathroom was excellent and very modern, and the bed was very comfortable. Best of all it was very quiet so I slept well. The breakfast was included and there is a big selection of food. The self serve area is quite compact and gets quite busy but the food was regularly replenished. The hotel is just a short walk from the shops and main tourist attractions in Bergen. I would definitely stay here again.

Best breakfast options of our whole trip in Europe! Plentiful array of delicious food. From fresh bread, fish, vegetables, homemade pate, yogurt cereal and fruit, to traditional options like bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. Fresh jiuce. Even Green and ginger shots! Something for everyone in your party. Even alternate options like oat milk, and gluten free bread. Thank you chef for taking care of us! We were well fed and felt completely ready to tackle a full day of touring.

staff was all super friendly and helpful. this place is well worth paying a few $ extra just for the breakfast. seriously great breakfast. lots of proteins, cereal, fresh fruit, even had herrings spreads, fresh bread. come for the rooms and service, stay for the breakfast.
