Pools are great. However, what brought us back to this resort for a third time was the beach which used to be accessible from the property and was wonderful for long walks. However, a hurricane destroyed the beach in front of the property. (October, 2025). The windows leaked and I was stepping in water getting out of bed. Lighting is cold because of “daylight” bulbs and the great view could only be enjoyed with the doors opened because the glass was so dirty.

Club Regina is an older property that is more quiet and peaceful. Three nice pools and bars and two restaurants, but not too many frills. Nice if you like a quiet location with a nice view but will need to take some offsite trips for variety from the one dinner restaurant there.

Great property. Quiet and calm. Good facilities. Great staff. Wonderful views from every room. Somewhat limited dining options after 5 or 6pm. Very hilly, but there are plenty of golf carts to help you around the resort.

The rooms were huge, all have ocean view, and a huge tub overlooking it. Everyone was super nice, the food was very decent and prices were OK. This resort has all you need to make your vacation week a dream. There are 3 pools and there was plenty of space for everyone when we were there the week of Christmas. No rush, space to swim, lounge, and some optional animations with lovely organizers. The club just got bought by the Accor group and they will start renovating the rooms. I thought the rooms were fine, just the A/C could have used a tune up. 20 minutes to San Jose’s lovely town with amazing restaurants, shops and gallery’s, with plenty of uber to take you. Bonus: whale watching from a place at the resort. I absolutely recommend this resort.

Several pools with bars and food. The bars had happy hour everyday and the drinks and food were very good. Never had an issue with finding a chair poolside or waiting for anything really. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Location is really good and in between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. I plan on staying there again in the future.

Beautiful beach, pool areas nice. Quiet area. Room smelled musty and AC didn’t go below 23.5 degrees. No bar service available after 5pm which was a big bummer so we got to the pool and were unable to get drinks or food. Only one place to eat and it was a buffet the night we were there which is not what we were looking for. Nothing walkable to eat.

This was a wonderful hotel. The views were fantastic-saw whales all day, everyday from our room. The hotel has different levels, which may be challenging for some, although they have golf carts to take you from place to place. The main complaint was that the main restaurant was Italian. As Americans, when in Mexico, we want authentic Mexican food. The pool restaurant (open until 6:00) did have a good selection of Mexican food, so we ate there a lot. Each bar has a happy hour beginning at 1:00, for the first bar and ending at 7:00 for the last bar, so it’s easy to get 2 for 1 drinks by visiting each bar. All in all, we had a wonderful week at Club Regina.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Club Regina. The panoramic view of the ocean is magnificent, and in February there are hundreds of whales to watch right out the room window!! The property is built into a cliff so you can enjoy the view everywhere you go. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Everything about this resort is wonderful… the restaurants, the 2 beaches, the 4 pools, but I think what I liked the best was the low key relaxed atmosphere and beautiful layout of the hotel. I felt like I was on another planet! This resort is not in town so my only complaint is that there is no shuttle to and from Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo, the two main towns in Los Cabos. We used Uber to get around. We would definitely go back again!!

This hotel is far from the 8.4 rating on Hotels.com. The reason is that it got new owners a couple of years ago and the employees there explain that it’s gone downhill from then. Since the rating covers more than the past two years, it does not accurately depich the current rating. The issue is not that it’s older and “run down”, it’s that it is extremely dirty (See picture) which is consistent with other ratings. I arrived in my room and was met with a really bad smell. On top of the fridge, I found my first bug (cockroach?) and then started to look around and found another one on the wall and when I looked at the top of the closet I saw that it had not been cleaned for years. The noisy a/c would also prevent me from sleeping in the room so I requested another room. The new room smelled better but was also extremely dirty, including a toilet with “brown spots”. The staff is actually very nice and friendly and are doing their best. They agreed that it was extremely dirty and that they knew it but that the new management just didn’t care. I didn’t have time to find another hotel, so I asked them to come and clean my new room in front of me so I could at least stay there. It’s a pity, the location is great, and even though it’s older, it could be fantastic if it was just clean. But it ruins the experience when you constantly think what else they didn’t clean, I can only imagine how the kitchens look.

The rooms are filthy with stains on the comforters and bed skirts. Stains on the window drapes as well. We had a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom and 2 of the 3 bathroom toilets were clogged. The water in the shower would not go down. We had to wear sandals in the shower because they were dirty. Room service and golf cart service had a 20 minute average wait time which meant we had to climb the hills to get to our destination. Our rooms smelled of mildew the entire stay. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Our stay was an absolute nightmare.

Beautiful place, staff and pools, but the rooms are very outdated. Old appliances, very noisy A/C you're not able to plug more than one appliance in the kitchen, and sometimes one, the brakers pop out and you have to wait for maintenance. No electricity, no A/C etc. The quality of the food was very poor, but again, the staff were amazing!

Diego & Laura at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room itself was clean but showed some wear & tear. In one of the bathrooms, the hot water handle was loose & did not work. We had stayed here in the past and the serving staff (in the restaurant & pool bars) were less attentive this time around. By the pool, I asked for help with the towels & was told that I am free to just take it. Which would've been fine, but I could not reach the shelf from the outside, so I had to crawl under the counter to get in the kiosk & reach the shelf. The sea views were spectacular & enjoyed whale watching everyday of our stay. Overall, it was a good stay.

My family and I enjoyed the staff, helpdesk, amenities and rooms making our arrival and departure so easy. Every person employed by this property is a gem!! Love the coastline and ocean view! The pools were wonderful and sooo clean. The food is very delicious and well presented. Overall, the staff at Club Regina make sure to go above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The beach on site is absolutely gorgeous and serene. I wouldn’t recommend swimming though as the waves in the area are pretty aggressive. Prices for the mini bar as well as the quality of food at the restaurant on site was the only downside for our experience. Their prices were simply not reasonable for the portion and quality of food provided. The only other downside was that some of the guests carried themselves with arrogance and entitlement. I overhead a guest yelling at one of the staff members onsite who was clearly intoxicated and his behavior was simply put, racist. The staff member was beyond patient with this individual and met him where he was at. The chauffeurs were also quite expeditious when you would call for a pickup from the room. Overall, the staff was exquisite, other guests were rude, and the food was mediocre.

Amazing views of the Sea of Cortez, feels very private from the rooms and property, captivating small beaches, very friendly accommodating staff. Shower is tight, bathroom a bit small but functional. Would absolutely stay again. Resort fee is not large, but hidden and should be more transparent on the other costs listing on Expedia.

Club Regina is an absolutely beautiful resort. Rooms were clean, spacious and the views were stunning. Watching whales from the balcony at sunrise, sunset, etc. is a highlight I won't ever forget. Although the food options were somewhat limited at the resort, the food quality was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed and special. Lucas and Ulysses at the pool bar were amazing and brought the fun and the drinks! Lucas made sure we were happy and taken care of all week. The rest of the staff also showed extreme care in making sure we were having fun, getting where we needed to be and even helped us communicate with local companies when my wife lost her phone in an Uber. The pool was warm and the view from the pool was stunning. The location was nice as well. It was close enough to a grocery store (which was amazing itself). About a 30 min ride to downtown Cabo/marina and just about a 15-20 min ride to San Jose del Cabo which had a lot of fun shopping and delicious food options as well. There are a significant amount of hills to get up/down at the resort to get between the lobby, rooms, restaurants, pool and beach. However, there are always friendly staff members on carts nearby to help you if you aren't up for the hike. Definitely recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Cabo.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Super easy to uber to and from San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for good food and drinks, and spa. Above average hotel food but some things were very mid. Prices were average for a hotel/resort. I’d recommend getting the all inclusive package

Pretty good place, gives you a luxurious feel Golf cart transport around resort ( but sometimes they forgot about you or takes very long Multiple pools with bar and restaurant available. Infinity pool was really nice No Ubers allowed in resort area so we would have to take a golf cart to security gate then catch an Uber. Their taxis were $35 one way. The restaurants food wasn't the best. We didn't have a decent meal at the resort. The room service took forever, to the point where you didn't even want it anymore. The only food that was good was the small appetizers we ordered poolside. There was a mini market on the resort which was very helpful. Spa was super expensive and so were the restaurants. There is a resort fee each night and sanitation tax. I felt like tipping wasn't necessary since there was a resort fee each night. It was pretty good, but I don't think I would visit again.
