Dass der Zugang zum Spa extra bezahlt werden muss, betrachte ich als NoGo. Als Geschäftsreisender werden Übernachtungskosten, Businesspauschalen o.ä. vom Arbeitgeber übernommen. Spa leider nicht. Daher ist dies bei künftiger Auswahl mit entscheidend - auch weil dies vermutlich bei allen Hotels von Scandic so sein wird.

No early check in as a courtesy for international travelers. We had to wait until 4:00… period. Then a very very long line because everyone needed to check in at 4:00. Makes no sense! The last indignity was that the bar did not open until 5:00 so nothing to do while we waited for 4:00 to roll around…

Sehr gutes Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen. Tolles Zimmer inkl. Fernseher, Dusche. Hatte wunschgemäss ein ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten raus. Klimaanlage war zu warm und da eine Temperaturskala fehlte nicht korrekt einstellbar. Hatte mich aufs Hallenbad gefreut, bei 10 € Gebühr aber darauf verzichtet. Frühstück war klasse. U.a. Genügend vollautomatische Kaffeemaschinen vorhanden.

Die Lage ist super. Man kann in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt sein. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Aber Achtung: Die Poolbenutzung kostet 10 € und die Tiefgarage 22 € die Nacht. Another great Scandic experience for me. I love this brand of hotel. Staff is always great and rooms are always so nice. Having the pool and two saunas here is also so great. Only reason for 4 stars is because operations are slightly inconsistent with Frankfurt location that I also stayed at. Sauna was open an hour later there as well as gym. Otherwise, I can confidently say any time I am in a city with a Scandic hotel I will absolutely be staying.

Wir kamen nach dem Check In im Zimmer an und sahen, dass wohl niemand das Zimmer kontrolliert/gemacht hat: das Bett war nicht gemacht, die Flasche Wasser war offen, der Mistkübel war voll und der Tisch war schmutzig. Als wir es der Rezeption meldeten, bekamen wir kein Entschuldigung sondern nur „das Housekeeping ist nicht mehr da und die Wasserflasche ist nicht von uns“. Wir baten darum, dass sie sich das Zimmer ansehen während wir in die Stadt gehen. Als wir zurückkamen, sahen wir eine neue Flasche Wasser am Tisch. Die offene Flasche vom vorherigen Gast wurde stehen gelassen, das Bett wurde nicht gemacht und der Mistkübel wurde nicht ausgeleert. Am nächsten Tag erklärte uns die Rezeptionisten auf Nachfrage „es tut und leid, wir haben das Zimmer nicht geputzt nachdem der vorherige Gast ausgecheckt hat“ - wir haben somit in dem Bettbezug geschlafen, wie der Gast vor uns.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient. The spa was great. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. A special highlight was the receptionist who spoke Ukrainian, it was incredibly touching to hear my native language. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend this hotel to others!

I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. It’s a sizeable room in a great location, but it missed the mark on many little things. Here’s a few…they charge 20 euros for a marginally early check in, they charge an extra 10 euros for use of the pool area (which is constantly filled with squealing kids), they only supply two, cheap coffee sachets which are not renewed during your stay, the air con is inconsistent, the water pressure is weak and the mini fridge was full of the previous guests’ leftover food. Not up to the standard of other similarly priced places in Germany.

Great location. Nice staff. No a/c. On a hot day after walking around, coming back to a hot room just doesn’t cut it. Open the window to cool off a bit, and it is super loud as it next to the main ring road. Was informed by the front desk that this was European a/c and this is as good as it gets. I’m a business traveler that has been 50 times to Europe, and this was pretty much the worst excuse for an a/c I’ve seen or heard.

I stayed at the Scandic Hotel twice for a total of almost two weeks and both stays were excellent. The rooms are modern, very clean, and completely soundproof, even on the street side I didn’t hear any traffic. The daily breakfast buffet was great with plenty of fresh choices, and the staff at both the front desk and the buffet were genuinely kind and attentive. I especially want to mention Augustine at the front desk, he is the man. Such a kind and caring young man who went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. I was in Nürnberg for my mother’s funeral and the staff understood right away when I asked for a quiet section at breakfast. That level of compassion meant a lot. The wellness area was another highlight. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the two different saunas were a much needed treat after long days. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations in comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Scandic Nürnberg Central. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and our kids were thrilled with the bunk bed – it reminded them of the double-decker couch from The LEGO Movie! The restaurant served a delicious dinner, and the breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want. The pool was a big hit too, especially since it was open until 10 PM. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommended for families!

Zimmer war sauber und modern. Service war leider durchgehend schlecht. Für Check-in 30min anstehen. Zimmerreinigung nur auf Anfrage bis 11 Uhr an der Rezeption. Leider wurde das Telefon der Rezeption um 10:50 nicht beantwortet. An der Rezeption angekommen, haben wir unseren Unmut kund getan und nur nach neuen Handtüchern gefragt. Leider wurde diese kleine Anfrage auch nicht erledigt als wir zurück im Zimmer waren. Die Rezeption hat uns gesagt, dass sie zu wenige Leute sind (das ist schade aber die Personalplanung ist nicht sache des Gastes). Das Hotel ist super von der Lage aber die Preis-Leistung läst zu wünschen übrig.

Ich reise beruflich sehr viel und war schon in zahllosen Hotels, daher habe ich schon so einiges gesehen. Bei diesem Hotel sticht leider der schlechte Service heraus. Ich war gut eine Stunde vor Check-in da – für einen early check-in wurden 20 € verlangt. Echt jetzt? Da ich beruflich unterwegs war und direkt losmusste, wollte ich wenigstens mein Gepäck unterstellen. Statt Service hieß es: bitte selbst hoch ins Regal stellen. Ein ruhiges Zimmer hatte ich ebenfalls angefragt – bekommen habe ich eins direkt am Fahrstuhl, zur Hauptstraße und mit einem bellenden Hund nebenan. Der Service ist für mich absolut unterirdisch. Das Zimmer war zudem sehr hellhörig. Dank Ohrstöpseln konnte ich zwar gut schlafen, aber ohne wäre es sicher schwierig gewesen. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich das bequeme Bett und die fantastische Dusche – eine Regendusche mit einem sehr sanften und feinen Regen.

Hotellet var fräscht och med trevlig personal. Dock var hissinfrastrukturen kraftigt underdimensionerad samt att omgivningarna var mindre trevliga. This hotel is probably one of the best to around the Nuremberg area. It's is right across from the Nuremberg old town with just a street crossing away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and thing to do around the areas. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city of Nuremberg. It's is also a 4 minute walk from the Main Nuremberg Train station.

Very nice hotel, it had everything you wanted. Beautiful decorations, swimming pool, enough parking space, friendly staff. Only thing was the bedsheets felt a bit clammy. I don't know if that happened because of the airco or something else. Last but not least, we went for dinner and also ordered a cocktail but it looked and tasted nothing like the cocktail. The salmon main course wasn't tasefull, it was a few salmon pieces with alot of herbs underneath it. Other than that, really enjoyed it and still giving 5 stars!

For a standard room we were really impressed. Plenty big enough, huge really comfy bed, modern, well finished and spotless. Great selection at breakfast. Well organised and polite friendly staff. The only thing, which was a personal taste preference, was that the pillows were way too soft but I’m sure they’d have found different ones if we’d been bothered enough to ask. Perfect location for the Christmas market and general town centre. Couldn’t fault anything else!

Excellent hotel! Clean tidy comfortable and well located. I arrived late at night and the lovely lady in reception was kind and helpful. Also explained that due to the hotel being fully booked my room had been upgrade (this was a lovely touch) The room was fab large bathroom and very comfy bed and bedding. The bed was actually made as well. I have found over the years german hotels leave the quilt folded at the bottom of the bed and 2 singles for a double bed. Breakfast was nice althougj did lack bacon and sausages! But the fresh made waffle iron was great, the make your own fruit juice was good as well. Seating was plentiful and staff very attenive. A short walk over (through) the old city wall and you ate very quickly at the altstadt markt
