Novotel is a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The wellness area was an added bonus. The only thing that could be improved was the fact that when we were in the spa area the towels were all out. Also, the floor was very slippery and you had to step carefully, so as to not slip.

Great price/location if you want to save and still have access to downtown. Pool and sauna were exceptional, especially after a long day of travel. The only wrinkle was parking. The lot is an underground garage with easy access and decently large spaces, but it doesn't accept credit cards. There is also not an ATM on site, prompting a thirty minute scavenger hunt throughout the train station. Come to find out, you can pay your ticket at the hotel reception with credit card. This isn't clearly marked with signage or mentioned by staff, so be sure to keep it in mind. Would be 5 stars otherwise. Also, FYSA there was consistently a modicum of human feces and vomit in the immediate area (which was otherwise nice). Oddly, this seemed consistent with the rest of the city, which was otherwise very well kept. Don't let it keep you from Nürnberg, just watch your step and small kids.

The internet signal was bad - often no signal. The reception said they would send a tecnician but never did. Glutenfree (allergic) options were the worst that we have experienced in a hotel. Bread as hard as stone. The day we were going to check out and leave the cleaning lady came 8:30?! There were blood on the toilet wall when we came. The pool was great though.

Durch den nahe gelegenen Hauptbahnhof war es auch nachts sehr laut. Mit geschlossenem Fenster war es ok. Allerdings kühlt die Klimaanlage sehr stark ab und gibt einen muffigen Geruch ab. Das Zimmer war schön und das Bett bequem. Allerdings lang im Schrank ein nasses und benutztes Handtuch. Der Seifenspender war leer. Kleinigkeiten die allerdings sehr ärgerlich sind.

We had 2 rooms. One of them was not very clean - lots of dust. The room furniture and beds were ok. We were surprised we had to pay for 2 days of parking (42 euros) - we were there for less than 24 hours. The gentleman that handled our check-out clearly didn't like his job. He didn't even greet us when we came to the counter and wasn't very friendly.

This was a great hotel for us to stay in while traveling in Nuremberg. Very close and walkable to the Old Town and Train Station (5 minutes). Our room had nice air conditioning, comfortable bed and pillows. The room was very well stocked with toiletries and makeup mirror. Don’t miss the heated bathroom floors! We even had a pool and sauna to enjoy. Breakfast was wonderful! Cheeses, meats, bacon, sausages,eggs and of course Germany’s wonderful breads and jams. We are very happy that we chose this hotel for our stay.

For the lower amount of money, … for Germany in a big city,… this hotel was a great deal -not perfect but good for the money. A nicer bigger hotel with lots of conveniences like gym, pool, safe location, parking you can pay for in a safe garage, big breakfast you can pay extra for etc. Room was decent size, clean, well furnished, with good beds. Hvac air conditioning was easy to control to make warm or cold- that is very important as I can’t sleep when it is warm in the room and so hvac going to low temperature is important to me. Staff - some friendly and kind, some rude….it is Germany sooo. I liked that windows open for fresh air. Location is fine to drive 5 or 10 minutes to most tourist sights. Not great for walking to the tourist sights though. You could take buses or trams though as there are many many of them just outside the hotel.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed in a two twin room and had plenty of space. The room was well appointed with plenty of storage and a nice bathroom. Very quiet, blackout curtains worked great, WiFi was a little slow. Our room was clean. The hall leading to our room needs new carpet and paint. The spa was very nice, enjoyed both saunas and paid a nominal fee of 3,50 for the robes and slippers. We did not have breakfast there so we cannot comment. Overall a good experience for a good price. Personal reviews are based on personal preference. For example the Waldorf in Rome we would give 5 stars. This is a good less expensive hotel close to the train station and beginning of the Christmas market.

We had a great stay for the Christmas markets. The executive suite had a big and comfortable cot for our 1 year old and our 3 year old loved the sofa bed. Everyone was so happy that they slept really well. Our family normally doesn’t sleep so well on holidays with us all in one room - but on this occasion the kids loved the space so much they slept brilliantly. We stayed in room 402 and it had a great view of the trains coming and going at the main station. Great soundproofing too - couldn’t hear at all.

Liked the pool. It's well maintained. Breakfast was good during the week but the weekends were overpacked, chaotic and stressful. Wifi was useless above the 1st floor. Felt like 2010 as you had to use the lobby to get service. Score F- . Not many restaurants close by. However the train station being so near was a Plus!

Standard stort hotel med en mærkelig service. Hotellet bruger alt for mange kræfter på intern markedsføring. Eksempel. Du er ankommet før tid. Hvis du skal have dit værelse, skal du tilmelde dig vores club. På bordene i morgenmadssektionen er der påklistret qr koder, så man kan tilmelde sig. Servicen i øvrigt var ikke vær at skrive hjem om.

+ Very comfortable hotel in the centre of Nurnberg. + Hotel staff really friendly! + Enough space for a family of four to sleep in a double room. + Safe underground parking. + Swimming pool. + Fridge (mini bar) in the room. - The car parking is somewhat expensive (21 Euro per day) and it doesn't seem there are altenatives nearby.

What a nightmare stay. We got in at 4:30 for a 3:00 check in. The receptionist let us know our room may not be ready when we got there. Considering check in starts at 3 and it was past then. They called and confirmed our room was clean, gave us keys and off we went....to an uncleaned room with a bathrobe, used beds and bathroom. So we go back down and have to get another room. As a courtesy we were given two free drinks at the bar for the inconvenience (I did not ask for any accomodations for the initial room issue.) The room was very large but the pillows are a joke. They do not have any fill and are incredibly uncomfortable. The breakfast is an overpriced waste of money. If you are even able to get food without other guests or their children shoving you or literally pushing you out the way, the food is not worth the price (I recommend going to Alex nearby if you want breakfast). The pool was so overrun with screaming children jumping into the pool (and literally following around strangers while their parents ignored them) that we couldn't even use it. The gym is nice. Someone decided to break the weight machine our last day there and again there were a lot of children in a facility for 18 and older Finally the best of it all, the bartender in Christmas Eve is incredibly rude and disrespectful. He was yelling, aggressive and unprofessional to do due a miscommunication. No manners and screaming at a guest 15 minutes before Christmas, good job!NEVER STAYING WITH THIS GROUP

Das Novotel ist ein 4-Sterne Superior Hotel, fussläufig zum Hbf in Nürnberg gelegen. Check In sehr freundlich und schnell erledigt. Zimmer geräumig, Sage steht gratis zur Verfügung. Zimmer zur Straßenseite (nachts leider durchaus laut). Dies stellt für mich einen kleinen negativen Punkt dar, ist aber aufgrund der zentralen Lage nicht zu vermeiden. Weiterer negativer Punkt ist der Preis für das Frühstücksbuffet (24€ pro Person pro Tag). Für das was angeboten wird, ist der Preis deutlich zu hoch und wir würden beim nächsten mal nur die Unterkunft ohne Frühstück buchen. Positiv natürlich der Pool im Obergeschoss. Könnte jedoch etwas wärmer sein. Ist nach einem langen Tag in Nürnberg und Umgebung jedoch Gold wert. Ehrlicherweise war der Pool das Hauptkriterium für die Buchung. Cocktails an der Bar am Abend waren sehr gut und freundliches Personal in der Bar und an der Rezeption. Beim Frühstück hatte ich manchmal den Eindruck, dass ein Teil des Personals doch leicht genervt war. Insgesamt dennoch zu empfehlen und aufgrund der Lage sehr gut.

Great location - bus, tram and train access within 5 minutes. Good restaurants down by the old town. Can walk to the castle and old town within 20 minutes. Great spot. Definitely some transient population around as you're at a transit hub but as long as you're back before dark it was super safe.

Das Novotel ist ein 4-Sterne Superior Hotel, fussläufig zum Hbf in Nürnberg gelegen. Check In sehr freundlich und schnell erledigt. Zimmer geräumig, Sage steht gratis zur Verfügung.
