Nomad Hostel Gardet! This is one of the cheapest hostels in Stockholm. They have a common room where everyone can hang out and watch TV. Free Wi-Fi is available, and there’s a large fridge where guests can store their food – just remember to write your name on it so no one else takes it. The staff is very friendly, and Marko is amazing. He always tries to help everyone. One of their volunteers has traveled home for Christmas and New Year, and she is truly missed – Imen. She always brightened the atmosphere and organized game nights and movie nights. There’s free coffee and tea for all guests. The kitchen is a bit small and lacks some tools, but it’s still functional for cooking. They have a microwave, air fryer, rice cooker, and toaster, but there’s no proper stove. Despite this, I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s truly *your home away from home*.

I have never felt so welcomed and at home in any Hostel before. There us no party, but just profound discussions going on all the time. You can learn a lot just ny listening. The host is a great guy. Takes care of anything you wish for swiftly and has his heart at the right place too. For me, this is the only Hostel I'll stay at in Stockholm in the future.

A very cool spot just outside of the city centre. The hang out social space is awesome for cooking and getting to know the rest of the guests and closes at an appropriate time to allow everyone to sleep comfortably. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Marko the goat, were always up for a chat and full of information and ideas about Stockholm and life in general. The rooms were well set up, had plenty of fans and locker space. Bathrooms were clean and there are laundry facilities if you need them. I highly recommend this place and will be visiting again!

Overall a nice experience. Had a little trouble with the wifi and key but once I got in the person at the desk helped with that :) Got a room with a bathroom. Television was nice but a little small for the distance to the bed, so my friend had a hard time reading/seeing. Bet was okay. Bathroom was okay. It was just a little outdated. For the price it could use an upgrade. I appreciated the communal kitchen and free coffee and tea, though there were people up until late at night making noise and talking loudly. Felt safe. And close to bus, and walking distance to the metro station. Locations to eat around was scarce and a little expensive for the quality. That's all :)

I had the honor to spend Christmas and New year at this fantastic hostel. Very friendly place to stay. In the common area you will always find frindley people to talk with. Always something happening in the evning. There is movie nights, board games nights, quiz nights, card games nights and more. And if you want a quite/private time you can stay in your room. No one will disturbe you there. Thank you so much Marko, Gina and the rest of the staff for very good memories that I will take with me. You are the best!

Väldigt fräscht vandrarhem, blev dock överraskad att jag placerats i mixed rum, tog för givet att det var uppdelat för kvinnor och män. De har även sociala aktiviteter som kortspel, beach volleyboll på sommaren mm, riktigt bra! Stort plus att lakan och handdukar ingår. Fint läge nära Kampementsbadet.

Verkligheten stämmer verkligen inte överens med bilderna. Rummet var slitet och smutsigt, och stämningen var obehaglig. En av mina rumskamrater var kraftigt berusad och blev aggressiv mot oss andra. När vi bad personalen om hjälp sa de bara att han var trevlig men dricker lite ibland – något som definitivt inte kändes okej. Personen skrek åt oss att vi borde lämna och hitta ett hotell istället. Hela situationen gjorde att jag kände mig otrygg och obekväm. Dessutom vaknade jag upp med lössbett över hela kroppen efter första natten. Det var tydligt att vissa personer bodde där långsiktigt, vilket gjorde att det kändes mer som ett härbärge än ett hostel. Rekommenderar verkligen inte detta ställe.

I found the accommodation to be super clean, very reasonably priced and functional. It is extremely cheap by Stockholm standards and also very practical with the bus stop right outside the front door (city center can be reached in under 20 minutes) and the supermarket and city park just a few minutes away. The host makes every effort to ensure that everyone has a good time. Facilities and sleeping comfort was all right. For me personally, however, I found the hostel unsuitable for stays of several hours apart from an overnight stay, as it is located in the basement of a building and hardly any daylight enters the rooms. The common room, for example, has no windows at all. Anyways, a big thanks to the Normad Gardet team for having me. I wish you all the best. Cheers!

I like it's Nomadic style in interior design that makes it unique and gave me a homey feeling during my stay.Its quite and privey. I like the concept of having its own toilet and bathroom.Complimentary unlimited coffee and tea anytime in the kitchen area. I had a great and comfortable stay which I can recommend to my friends.

Rent o fräscht. Trevlig värd och mysig miljö. Sängar bra men fick sova 1 natt i en säng där skyddet/ persiennen var trasig. Den räckte inte ner till säng kanten så det blev en stor glipa dessutom täckte den inte huvud delen som är det viktigaste, så det var ett minus. Annars bra betyg.

Nomad Gardet Hostel is truly a gem! From the first moment I was greeted by the fantastic atmosphere and the incredible team that works here. Marko, who is the manager, is absolutely fantastic. He has a unique ability to make every guest feel welcome and seen. His dedication to making the stay as good as possible is truly admirable. Imen, as a volunteer, is absolutely awesome. She does an incredible job of taking care of the guests and creates a warm and inclusive environment. In addition, she organizes various events most evenings, which is one of the highlights of living here. Her energy and creativity make every event special, and it's a perfect opportunity to meet other guests and have fun together. The hostel is also very clean and well maintained, and the fact that they offer free coffee and tea is a really nice touch. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely, making it a perfect accommodation whether you are traveling alone or with friends. I can really recommend Nomad Gardet Hostel to anyone looking for affordable, well-maintained and social accommodation in Stockholm. I found the accommodation to be super clean, very reasonably priced and functional. It is extremely cheap by Stockholm standards and also very practical with the bus stop right outside the front door (city center can be reached in under 20 minutes) and the supermarket and city park just a few minutes away. The host makes every effort to ensure that everyone has a good time. Facilities and sleeping comfort was all right. For me personally, however, I found the hostel unsuitable for stays of several hours apart from an overnight stay, as it is located in the basement of a building and hardly any daylight enters the rooms. The common room, for example, has no windows at all. Anyways, a big thanks to the Normad Gardet team for having me. I wish you all the best. Cheers!

The place was ok. Marco the manager has a good sense of what the guests want. The problem was that the advertising said city center that was not true this is in a residential neighborhood and if you want to go see the actual Stockholm you either walk (over an hour) or take the bus. Nomad Hostel Gardet! This is one of the cheapest hostels in Stockholm. They have a common room where everyone can hang out and watch TV. Free Wi-Fi is available, and there’s a large fridge where guests can store their food – just remember to write your name on it so no one else takes it. The staff is very friendly, and Marko is amazing. He always tries to help everyone. One of their volunteers has traveled home for Christmas and New Year, and she is truly missed – Imen. She always brightened the atmosphere and organized game nights and movie nights. There’s free coffee and tea for all guests. The kitchen is a bit small and lacks some tools, but it’s still functional for cooking. They have a microwave, air fryer, rice cooker, and toaster, but there’s no proper stove. Despite this, I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s truly *your home away from home*.

I had read good references about the hostel but in reality was not good. Someone also gave bad flu to many people who stayed there. Not good vibes. Kitchen under renovation so not easy for prepare anything.

I like it's Nomadic style in interior design that makes it unique and gave me a homey feeling during my stay.Its quite and privey. I like the concept of having its own toilet and bathroom.Complimentary unlimited coffee and tea anytime in the kitchen area. I had a great and comfortable stay which I can recommend to my friends.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The dorm beds had privacy curtains, which made a big difference. The room and bed linens were clean, and I appreciated that each bunk had its own power outlet, a small shelf for personal belongings, and a bedside lamp. I arrived after the reception had closed, but the self check-in process was excellent. Everything was automated using Web Keys on a webpage. By simply clicking the buttons, I could unlock the main entrance, the hallway door, and my room door. It was a smooth and convenient experience. The shower had good water pressure, which I appreciated. The only downside was that there was a dirty chunk of soap left on the shower faucet, and the floor squeegee (used to remove water from the bathroom floor) was also dirty. Since Swedish bathrooms typically don't have a separate shower area, the entire floor gets wet, so guests are expected to use the squeegee after showering. The only real issue I had was the main entrance door. It was extremely heavy and difficult to open. I actually had to ask another guest how to open it because I thought I was doing something wrong. One final tip: this isn't the hostel's fault, but if you're staying in a shared dorm, be prepared for the possibility of a roommate who snores loudly—I certainly had one! I highly recommend bringing good earplugs or noise-cancelling earbuds for a better night's sleep. Overall, despite a couple of minor issues, I had a comfortable stay and would consider staying here again.
