The basic double room was located below the lobby which was below ground level although labelled a L2 and L1. Issues faced 1) WiFi was present but there was no Internet 2) TV could be turned on but not connected to network 3) Aircon is centrally controlled without means of control within the room 4) The main door had to be slammed hard for it to be closed. Similar issues for other rooms as I could hear slamming late at night and early morning 5) Showerhead holder was loose, resulting in the shower head dropping when the water was off 6) There are no windows in the room or toilet 7) The onsen in the bathroom warms up the room and made it unbearable to sleep at night. Do note this review is just for the basic room which is below the lobby.

Third time staying at this hotel, changed management again, not as good as before, no more breakfast or local transportation provided anymore, requires 20mins uphill walk to hotel, or 100 local dollars for taxis which sometimes not available

The basic room is cheap for reasons: below ground level, no windows, right next to the laundry room (so noisy). However, I still think it's a good deal in this area for this price.
