The shuttle pick up at the airport was promised but did not happen. waited 2 hours and shuttle no show. Monarch sent it later to pick up ONE passenger at the airport. We took an UBER. No consideration from hotel or staff. They said they were "sorry". Only one driver on in the evening. Never was told that. Flight arrived at 7:30 pm. Don't trust them.

Checked in at 4:30PM. Area around desk was chaotic due to large number of flight crews checking in ahead of us. We were assigned to a room that had not yet been cleaned so we had to return to front desk for a new room. Second room was dated, but good. We left the property for some shopping and dinner. Returned to property at 7 PM and found no parking close to entrance. Closest available parking was very far from the house and required a very long walk with baggage and belongings. I felt quite unsafe leaving my vehicle so far back. I am recovering from surgery and we only found three handicap parking spots. On our “trek” across the lot we did notice that 8 or 9 Monarch vans were parked quite near the hotel entrance. Not sure if we’ll return to this property.

Our room was very clean, stocked with towels and an extra blanket. The AC worked great which was needed because it is was 100 degrees out! The pool was nice, lots of seating although the chairs were a bit weathered. Pool towels were always stocked. All staff were friendly! We had a Keurig in our room, no microwave but decent sized fridge with separate freezer (bigger than I usually see in hotels). All and all great stay for the price!

We left a scary spider infested air bnb in the middle of the night (12:30am) and came to this hotel in desperation. It was exactly what we needed. Perfectly clean, quiet, great shower with body wash/hair products included. Comfortable bedding and a truly GREAT window shade. It blocked sunlight completely and allowed us to sleep in after a stressful night.

The bed was made with dirty bloody bed sheets. Was given a different room and woke up with ants crawling on me and ants in our food. Noisy air-conditioning. The toilet was not secured to the floor and freely moved when sitting down or getting up from the toilet. Some staff were nice and some just rude. Will never go there again.

This property is very dated and dirty. We had a leak in our bathroom. Holes in our walls. The lights didn’t work. Our key didn’t work twice. Floors were dirty. The staff was friendly. I’m pretty sure people live full time at this hotel. The positive is it’s close to freeway and shopping.

The hotel was so worn out, dirty and smelled when coming in the lobby. Needs a lot. My linens looked like they were 100 yrs. Old, the sheets looked dingy and slept in! I wiped down the bathroom countertop before putting my things down, and I took pics of my rag. It was so dirty! Shower ceiling was cracked and molding and black. I took pictures. So gross!! Never again! Lady at the front desk was very pleasant.

My room was dirty when I got into the room grime & dirt in the sink & hair in the sheets. Very disappointed. I called front desk & took 2 hours for them to come back & clean the room they only remade the bed & didn’t clean the sink. I had to call again to have them come back up & clean the sink it was disgusting. I would have changed rooms, but they didn’t have another Suit with a Spa! Which is why I booked at this hotel in the first place.I would have left but at this point it was 8pm. Very disappointed that I spent $153 on an unsatisfactory stay!

Our room was okay but I found several areas that were not cleaned. In the bathroom it was clear the counters had not been wiped down, the walls had makeup all over them, the toilet had black stuff on it, and the bathroom door had unknown splatter in several places.

My room was like sleeping on the freeway. It was amazing. The heat/air conditioning was very hard to regulate. The air flow was very high and in my face all night until I increased temperature; then I had to lower temp again. Never got it comfortable.

The Monarch has sold out to Hilton. The charm of the old Monarch is gone and it’s become a modern IKEA room. They really missed the boat by not creating suites with a larger bathroom. Also install soundproof windows & doors. I love the location but had bad WiFi and it was so noisy during this construction phase. It’s not ready for reopening yet unless you’re going to charge a lot cheaper rate.

Well overall was ok Room did not have internet connection no towels the television did not work I let the front desk know, they said they will get someone to check and never did They did not clean the room any day The construction workers made too much noise in the morning I called for towels never came to drop off only one towels for me and my two girls and the television said no service and the internet never worked Expected more inky good thing was the pool

I was able to easily park my truck and trailer here. The rooms were beautiful, and I had a view of the pretty water feature from my room. The only caveat was having to take my food to the lobby to heat up, but I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was fine. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the air conditioning unit was very loud - even with the "just fan" setting. It was fine for what it was, conveniently located near the airport and near the cemetery we were attending a service at, but I don't think I would go back for a leisure trip.

Very noisy. We didn’t get any sleep. When my wife and I checked in, we asked for a quiet room. They put us on the first floor. All night we could hear people up above us walking around in their room. My wife wore earplugs and it’s still was terrible for her. We were booked for two nights and when I asked for a refund on the second night, I was told no. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. Staff is unfriendly and not helpful.

We were able to get booked with Monarch quickly and last-minute after our Air B and B fell through for a long stat. Overall, the staff was kind and accommodating. They were also under renovation and did a great job adjusting so that wasn't an issue for guests.

Excellent beds Quite room Poor service a: I was there 2 days ! I’ve asked for a blanket 3 times the first night! I did not get one! Next night I asked 3 more times I finally got one late that evening! Difficult to get hot water to make tea:-( service over all was difficult! The hotel over all is nice! Probably not someplace I will stay again though! Wanted a few other comforts! Hot water or microwave to warm up coffee or tea!

Really disappointing. Currently under construction/renovation, but rather than making an extra effort to make guests’ stay as comfortable as possible, the staff was non-existent and the attitude towards issues was almost indifferent. I stayed four nights, and only encountered two professional adults on staff the entire stay. One was Marco the housekeeping manager who was clearly good at his job and engaged. The other appeared to be a manager of sorts who made a slight effort to say “welcome back” as I walked in one afternoon. Otherwise the place seemed staffed by 20-somethings who looked surprised to find anyone speaking to them about, you know, hotel stuff.

Left do not disturb sign on door. Came back room had been cleaned after 1 night. Housekeeping threw out all my new groceries around 70$ worth. Went and talked to front desk . They did absolutely nothing about it. I will never stay there again

The restaurant in the hotel was awesome, staff were super great, room was of a high standard. So I would go back and stay for sure. But….. know it’s trivial, but charging $2 for a cup of coffee seemed a bit jarring as it is such a standard foyer freebie in every other hotel I’ve been to.

Amazing service. Such kind, respectful people. De Fuego had a great happy hour and The Underground.....oh my gosh our dinner was incredibly delicious. Plus fun entertainment! We had a memorable night. The hotel itself is very pretty with some beautiful features, especially the outside water features. It's outdated which I can handle but our bathroom was dirty looking. I think our bathtub could have been cleaned so that it would be white instead of brownish. Lots of little cleaning details that needed to be taken care of which would have made a huge difference. We will very likely go back if we are in the area again.

This is my third time staying at the Monarch and it has not disappointed me. The restaurant has a great menu and there's shopping very close. The room is a bit dated, but it has all the comforts needed for a stay.

Front desk staff spent more time talking to one another and slow with service. Room was a double queen with one towel and one shampoo. Got attitude for asking for more towels. Limited and poor quality food. Pool and area was outdated and a lot of interior was dingy.
