Feels like there’s a lot of needs to be repaired with the continue to overlook it elevators out. There’s only one light in the pool area if you’re going to swim at night if you get a clogged toilet, they have a plunger that they have that you can take up yourself and bring back.

Neither elevator was working and they said they haven't worked for some time. It made it hard for my wife to go up and down the stairs because she has bad knees

Overall our stay was good. Our room wasn’t ready upon check-in however an employee had called in sick and it was understandable. The elevator was out-of-order and that was pretty annoying too, especially with a toddler. Speaking of toddler, they advertise they have cribs but it was a VERY dirty, old, damaged pack-and-play and when I called the front desk to ask for a different one, they didn’t have any other ones. The room was clean and breakfast was fine. The morning staff was fabulous and so sweet! So definitely pros and cons but overall is was good for one night.

The hotel itself was fine and clean. We booked it for a quick overnight getaway with our 3 year old. Booked it primarily for the swimming pool so that he could swim but when we checked in was told the pool was broken but the hot tub was working. Disappointing but went ahead and stayed since already paid. Front desk gave us our room keys to the second floor and elevator was broken so had to carry all our luggage up the steps with a toddler. We got settled in the room and went down to get in the hot tub but it was so small, crowded, and over chlorinated that we couldn’t stay in for longer than 30 minutes. Not a horrible stay but likely wouldn’t book again.

The stay itself was okay except that the elevator was and has been apparently, out of service. My husband and I are both physically challenged and lugging our luggage up a flight of stairs was not what we expected. We had no choice but to accept the room on the second floor as it was a busy weekend in Maggie Valley and all of the rooms on the first floor were spoken for. We feel like the elevator issue should have been disclosed on the websites that advertise this hotel. The elevator is undergoing reconstruction so this should be noted on your website.

It was just OK, wasn't able to enjoy the hot tub, down for matinence. Rooms smelt musty. We did have more than enough linens though. Breakfast was mediocre. The outside of the building is easy on the eyes but Definitely needs work on the inside. Receptionist was very kind.

Very nice staff! Pool was ok . Room was not very clear. Mold and several cob webs all over the AC unit. Screens on the window were ripped. Room was very stuffy and had an odd smell .

This property looks like it has been upgraded from the outside BUT that is not the case. The carpet is dark brown but you can still see the stains. The breakfast was okay nothing special. For a Quality Inn they definitely need to do better in upgrading the inside of this place. The lobby, the hallways need major improvement. The front desk lady when we were doing the check out was extremely nice. Other than this place is average for the area.

Overall it’s a nice place to stay. The beds were really comfortable, shower had decent pressure, and the room was very clean upon arrival. It’s in a really good area - not sketchy like some places. There were only 4 things that could be improved in my opinion: The refrigerator in our room kept things cool, but not cold. The hot breakfast was decent, but it would be nice if they offered fruit other than a basket of apples. Finally, most of the staff was wonderful. However the front desk person had the personality of a rock. When I mentioned the refrigerator, she immediately said, we don’t give discounts or refunds. I never mentioned either of those. I responded, “Well that’s good because I wasn’t asking for one. I just wanted you to be aware so that it can be fixed or replaced.” She just stared at me like I’d lost my my mind. No thank you ore anything. Finally, the elevator was out of order the entire time we were there. There were lots of elderly people staying, and the staff apparently made no effort to relocate them to the first floor. We would have gladly moved if we were asked.

Not bad at all. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and my kids loved the pool. I will say that Ive stayed at 2 quality inns in my life and both of them had bathroom doors that wouldnt latch shut. Not sure why they both have had that odd issue. Other than that, not a bad stay. I would have no issue staying there again.

We choose this property for three reasons -- the pool, the breakfast, and the mountain view. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and actually warm. The breakfast was good with a variety of items and drinks. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. We had requested a mountain view. This is where we were disappointed and why I can't give more stars. Instead of a mountain view all we could see out the window was trees and mobile homes behind the property. There was a nice window seat in front of a large window. It would have been great to be able to enjoy a view, but instead we had to keep the curtains closed. Our request for a view was not granted. The bathroom area was OK, but there is nowhere to hang clothes while showering, wet swimwear, or used towels. A few hooks on the door or wall would make the area much better. For some reason there were three hairdryers in the bathroom and two of them took up much needed storage space. The motel was also noisy. We could hear the people on both sides of our room and in the hallway late at night.

I did not eat the breakfast .. My room was clean ..It was small but it was clean. .he coffee there in the lobby was delicious the front desk clerks were very friendly and nice. My only complaint about the quality inn was the beds ..they were very uncomfortable. Seems like when you would lay down you would feel the springs digging into your back and I'm so glad I brought a foam topper with me that I always carry just in case the bed is not comfortable ...that's the only way I was able to sleep on that bed. Think they need new mattresses .. ..

We loved this property we found it to be wonderful and excellent location. We had a little bit of a problem our key card would not open the door, we contacted day manager and she came down with a bucket of keys! All numbered but in no particular order. I was holding the bucket for her while she tried keys. This lady never lost her composure, the smile never left her face, she had been in contact with the lock company who was several hours away. She kept apologizing even though we knew it was not her fault, while I was holding a bucket I looked down and saw one of the keys was numbered 1 2 0 and that was our room number! This lady was as happy as we were if not more. We told her when we checked out that she was the hero of our trip because she helped us get back in our room, and as we said before the smile never left her face. She might have been grumbling inside, but we could not see it. I wish I had gotten her name, because she deserves to be commended!

Owes me over $100 from my stay because the check-in lady took my cash payment and charged my card. She said to ask for refund the next morning and the new worker said their systems were down. Tried contacting for my refund since then and have yet to receive it and it has been since September 2024! Several broken tiles in the pool area and around the hot tub. Leaking ceiling in the pool room.

My card was swiped for incidentals at the front desk as always, however upon arrive back to the hotel at night, I took a bottle of water and a snack from the lobby inventory and was told that it was cash only. I don't carry cash and I have already given my card for incidentals, was told I could not have a bottle of water or the snack unless I paid cash. REDICULOUS!!

The mattress and pillow were very comfortable, better than at most other properties at which I have stayed. The room was clean. Location was convenient. I appreciated having "free" breakfast, but the coffee was so bad that I poured it out and there was no real half and half, just chemicals (Coffee Mate). There was a good variety of breakfast items served, though the eggs tasted like they were either powdered or previously frozen. Waffles and baked goods were available, but I did not try them.

Outside of Hotel looks well maintained. Nice smelling when you walk inside, smelled clean. Elevator was not working due to the recent hurricane but it's only two floors and steps were doable. Ice machine worked, great coffee in foyer. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious and well maintained. Only suggestion is to figure out a way to keep blinds closed so light doesn't shine in the early morning. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water for shower.

First morning breafast was great 2nd day ran out of hot items , paper plates and muffins. Place was clean. Need more light in pool area. Hot tub was great. Staff friendly. House keeper worked her tail off long hours. Bed was very comfortable sleft well. There was a toddler on the 2nt floor that was loud and running up and down the hall parents didnt do anything about it. Overall i was satisfied.
