This property was filthy. The pool was disgusting with murky water with gross things floating in it, the halls stank of green-smoke, and the room made you feel like you didn’t want to take off your shoes. I can handle dated decor but to be gross too? I’m not that tough of a customer, I’ve slept in some seriously dingy places. I would not return here for anything. We ended up leaving early and not finishing out our reservation, and neither expedia or the hotel would “work with us” on that, if you know what I mean. They won’t allow me to post a review saying what I want to say there, so you’ll have to read between the lines. Poor customer service on both counts, on top of being just a nasty place. Oh and don’t eat the waffles in the morning. Just trust me on this one. This review is severely filtered to be allowed to post on the website.

Excellent room, breakfast had a range of options with eggs and waffles and other hot options, and there was a Culver’s across the street for dinner. The hotel details said the pet fee was $50 per dog per night, but turned out to be $15 per dog per night. The laundry had rather old, small machines, so we had to go to a laundromat. But otherwise, this was a good, reasonably-priced hotel.

The elevator feels extremely unsafe, room was clean and as expected for price. The elevator doors do not close properly, it does not go up or down smoothly. We had to try 6 times each time to get the doors to close. Would not stay again based up the safety concerns.

The property was not very clean. Carpets look dirty and the elevator was definitely not cleaned. The pool was grimy and looked murky. They didn’t take out the trash from the rooms daily and never refreshed the measly toiletries provided. Also the mattress and pillows were lumpy and the bed linen was very scratchy. Do not recommend this hotel. Pay more and stay at a better more comfortable place.

The amenities were adequate, breakfast was ample, readily available, with a very good selection (Waffles, cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruits, and more. The bed was comfortable, lighting was sufficient, and temperature controls worked as needed. There were other amenities which we did not need or use, such as a laundry area, vending machines, pool, and lounging area near lobby. Adding benches or chairs outside entrances/exits would be nice to have a place to sit, smoke, use phones etc. This was a last-minute reservation, and we were welcomed in with pleasantries by the check in staff. We did not really have further staff interactions, but I believe the would have been equally pleasant and welcoming.

Tammy at check in was great. She helped keep our group of 5 rooms all on one floor together. She was helpful with anything we needed. Rooms were clean.Breakfast was plentiful. Only thing I have negative to say is that the pool looked a little gritty.

No lake view but did not expect this, the hotel was old with a musty smell , pool and hot tub in need of repair and technology was outdated. I feel it was a old hotel in need of updating and the mold smell was very disturbing, I have stayed at other baymont hotels that were much nicer I feel this place gives your company a bad name.

BED BUGS! When I checked into my room there was a grocery bag over the smoke detector… which leads me to believe the room wasn’t actually cleaned after the last guest- it was very obvious. After finding bed bugs in the bedding, I immediately packed up and told the concierge. I was extremely calm and pleasant during my interaction. She was as well, but informed me that she didn’t have the authority to authorize a refund and I would have to contact Expedia. Neither Baymont or Expedia are issuing me a refund. Expedia and Baymont both agree that bed bugs are perfectly fine and included with your reservation. Not to mention the junky that was lurking outside the building and parking lot for hours at night. This place is filthy and they have no concept of customer satisfaction. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The room was clean, bathroom in the room was somewhat updated and clean. The lobby and pool had a weird odor and felt dirty. We power walked up to our room every time we came back to the hotel. The hotel was ok for the cost, but I wouldn't be rushing back to stay there again.

Back to the hotel…..the room looked clean, until you touch things or look closely. The sheer curtains were shredded, the comforter bed covering was dirty and stained. We just folded up and placed on the floor. The shower looked great, until you got in…..filthy.

This place was a great choice for a multiple night stay. Unfortunately, it has not been updated with usb ports in the room we stayed in. Lighting is great inside the rooms and in the parking area at night. Additionally, this room could be more functional with a hideaway sofa or eating area, as the jacuzzi in the room is a bit dated and unnecessary. All amenities nearby were convenient.

The mini fridge in the room didn't keep the food or drinks cold. I told the person at the front desk. He went to check it. Then he turned a knob in the back and said that it will take about 40 minutes to get cold. Then he said that he'll send the maintenance guy to check it out. He never came. I mentioned to the person at the front desk the next morning. Maintenance guy didn't show up....

The water in the pool and hot tub was so cloudy we were afraid to use. Breakfast was good, but needs a meat to go with the powdered eggs and waffles. Elevator was extremely slow and hot inside. Air conditioning just barely kept the room cool - but it was 90 degrees outside. Bathroom was updated with large shower. Room freshly painted, but does lack USB ports. Bed was comfortable. We were concerned about noise because room was next to the elevator, but the noise from the air conditioning provided white noise to drown out other sounds. However the air conditioning did occasionally make a loud bang that would wake us up.

The room was very nice. Small bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. It's a very modern shower with great pressure. The only thing I didn't like was the door to an adjoining room. Most of the noise from that room came from the door area. Unless you request an adjoining room they should not be given one.

Clean room and nice staff. Breakfast was great. The only thing they could improve is the room doors. They are not slow close and don’t seem to have padding so you hear everyone’s doors slamming if they don’t close them softly.

This was my second time staying at this location. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are comfortable, however there is one gentleman that works at the front desk that has 0 customer service skills. He is nowhere near personable and really seems like he couldn’t care less about you or your stay. He is constantly on his phone and can’t be bothered to acknowledge your existence. He is the only negative about this hotel.

Front desk on evening shift unfriendly. AM person helpful. Dark entry and hallwayd. Carpet needs replacement. Rooms need updating to include USB ports. Room had cleaning product smell. Breakfast pretty basic but typical for a chain. Very expensive for such a basic hotel but i chalk it up to it being a holiday weekend.

I’ll be honest and candid here because ultimately everyone wants that. Check in process was an absolute nightmare. I booked online and used the same card and process I’ve used every time for our stays. Due to the nature of my work, we are staying in hotels 3-4 times a month. My fiancee always checks in for us because I work weddings and cannot be there to check in. My fiancee was refused check in despite providing the card I used for booking and my ID. I was continually told I needed to be there to check in and that’s never been the case. I had to step away during the middle of my event and get this addressed. After much frustration, the front desk was suddenly nice to my fiance and helped her get into the room. I had no issue with cleanliness, I did have a concern for safety with the electrical outlet using multiple splitters and electrical plugs bent/stressed due to the distance it was plugged in. Concerning to say the least. Overall I’m absolutely not going to use any Wyndham hotels as this is the second issue we’ve had in two weeks. I can’t trust this hotel chain to take care of our needs.

This hotel is definitely not worth the price for the nightly rate. Sure the "bathroom area" was renovated but the hotel had a musty smell when you walked in and throughout the halls. We were given a smoking room even though we didnt ask for one and it smelled like cigarettes when you opened the door. The pool was dirty. The breakfast was okay. Definitely go somewhere else if you have the choice. The location is super weird as well right between a shell gas station and a walmart.

The staff was nice but the hotel is pretty outdated. It looked like they recently painted but there was a very odd smell when we first arrived and lasted into the evening. We looked in at the indoor pool and there appeared to be a film on top of the water, no one was in it. We found ourselves trying to find things to do so we only had to be there to sleep and shower. Breakfast was mainly cold items with the exception of waffles and scrambled eggs every day but no meat or potatoes. We were looking for reasonable accommodations and that's what we got but I would suggest spending a little more to get a little more.

The hotel was pretty ok but we could not watch TV. It kept saying no signal. We called the front desk. Someone came up but he didn't know how to fix it. The breakfast was a little disappointing in the fact that there was no meat. For soneone who us diabetic the only thing really was scrambled eggs.

Great place to sleep! Beds were comfy, and the room was nice. The whole property looked freshly redone. The pool had a dirty ring around it, dead bugs and debris on the deck, and oily scum floating on the water. Our fridge didn't work in our room. We were there for 4 days, and the public trash cans were overflowing and never changed the whole time we were there. The breakfast was ok but the same weekday or weekend. They were not prepared, or maybe equipped, for a lot of guests, so waiting for eggs to cook was constant. The OJ machine was also broken, so that cut down on options for non coffee drinkers, and they have no vending machines for other drink purchases. Great place to sleep! Comfy rooms and beds! Right off the highway, close to attractions.
