We looked at several options to stay and we're very happy we ended up with the red jacket, the place was newly renovated any felt very clean and fresh. The staff were all very kind. The private beach was nice. It was a rainy morning and i especially appreciated the fact that the staff was out early to clean and dry the chairs. Overall great stay. Would come again.

It was absolutely beautiful! The service was fantastic, the food was fantastic, and of course the view was fantastic! The pickleball courts were also so much fun and they have mini golf right next to it if you’re still feeling competitive afterwards! Family friend or adult only friendly as well! We had a blast!

First time back; last visit 2022. Property renovations and updates are great. Off-season rates are good. My only complaint is the resort fee charge in the off-season. There was no beverage or food service at the pool or beach (had to go inside to the bar/restaurant), no towel or beach chair service on the beach (again had to go up to the indoor pool), no beverage service at the pavilion tent ... so why/for what must I pay a resort fee?

Liked that is was located at the ocean and they set up chairs, unbrellas and towels for you. Close to restaurants, activities and shopping. Didnt liks there want an elevator.

Clean Oceanview Room. Beautiful Beach Plenty of chairs laid out for you. Beach only steps from the rooms. Nice outdoor pool, children’s pool, lounge chairs, umbrellas for all (September) 2 weddings while I was there, never heard a thing once I was in my room with door closed. Nice fire pit at night. Wonderful young helpful friendly staff from Montenegro. The Spa. Not so good: The restaurant space is not at all inviting. The menu is limited. A hamburger with fries was $30.00 at dinner time. It’s tough if you’re handicapped in any way. There are no designated bellmen. The young man at the reception desk helped me get my belongings upstairs and down a long hall. The indoor pool area has a strong chlorine? smell. It was confusing where to get towels for the beach.

We were there at the end of September and hoped that the swimming pools are heated as we were told. That was not the case. Water in the pools was very cool to sit in it. We could not just sit in the pool and talk. That’s so sad since there is nothing else you can do at the resort when out of season. Keeping water warm would make many more people to enjoy the resort after the season is over. I wound not recommend report to stay after Summer.

Property was very nice. Beach was well maintained and chairs and umbrellas were plentiful. Indoor and outdoor pool were also nice and great for the kids. A lot of entertainment options for kids. Room and beach towels were small and uncomfortable. Housekeeping staff was generally unfriendly and felt like they went out of their way to not say good morning or hello. Many other staff were extremely friendly. Charging $25 a day to park is ridiculous. The parking lot is somewhat small but each room should be allowed to have 1 car and then you can charge for a second car if there is one. That would be my biggest complaint about an otherwise great stay. We would definitely return.

We had a good stay at Red Jacket. The property was clean and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and our kids had a lot of fun with the activities. My only complaint would be the seating around the pools. The pool did not open daily until 9am but there were towels, bags, and other items on the chairs to reserve seats at the pool before 7am daily. When we could get a chair or two and spent time at the pool, the chairs with stuff reserving them were not used for hours at a time. We want to be able to safetly monitor the kids swimming and could not always do so.

I visit every year, but I was so surprised when I visited this time without knowing that it had been remodeled. It was so clean and comfortable that I really liked it. Before that, I visited every year and was a little disappointed with the facilities compared to the price, but this time I was so satisfied that I was able to come back.

Everything was great , staff was so nice and super friendly. The bathroom in our room was a bit dirty, and some of the blankets were also dirty. It was a bit hard to navigate when we first got there due to user error and a staff member was quick to escort us. The indoor pool was amazing and this place is SUPER KID FRIENDLY. It was the first time my husband and I took our toddler away on our own and it felt really safe , and there was plenty for us to do .

I had higher expectations for this resort given its rating and the cost and was quite disappointed. Upon checking in we were not given any information on use of the bicycles or where the jacuzzi (if they actually have one??). Internet was non existent in our room (and others according to other guests). You either have to go to the beach or stand outside your room overlooking the parking lot to get wifi service. Informed front desk of the poor service and was told there was nothing they could do, it was the provider. Only one restaurant at the resort which is a large open space so extremely noisy given all the families with small children. If you are travelling with teens I would look for another resort. This place seems to be quite popular with families with young kids. Can get extremely noisy. Only ate in the restaurant once as it was too noisy and over priced. I found this resort to be quite over priced with everything. Bought a coffee in the morning at the Crow's Nest -$6.35 for one coffee. Facility was supposed to be non smoking, there was someone smoking a cigar every night below my room so could not keep screen open and someone smoking outside the room- I'm not sure they bother to enforce the non smoking. Overall experience- I would not go back here again. Also not much to see or so on immediate surrounding area. Closer to Dennis, West Yarmouth or Provincetown would be better

Nice location. Right on the beach. Beautiful room with plenty of space. Lots of beach chairs to use. Long stretch of private beach to enjoy. Thin walls which meant the children running in the room above us just after 6am woke us up much earlier than we'd like while on vacation. Also noisy ladies up late drinking and talking kept us awake longer than desired. Overall, I'd recommend.

Our stay was during the off season (early May) so the property was very quiet. Location is great. Our negative experience was that the mini-fridge did not work 2 of the 3 days of our stay. We reported the problem to the front desk but it was not fixed. Some electrical outlets and both reading lights did not work.

Not a Resort—Just a Pricey Motel with Beach Access We paid over $500/night (plus $25 parking & 20% auto-gratuity) for what felt like a dated motel with a pretty view. The only great part? This place was nice but we’re hoping for a bit more out of the price we payed for a resort. The dinning menu is small and expensive and only one restaurant open all week. The outdoor pool said it closes at dusk but it was always closed so much earlier. The room was very nice but the floor was covered in sand. The beach was very nice however and an easy walk from your room and lots of chairs. Overall we had a nice time, but will most likely choose another place if we come back to visit.

Overall, we loved Red Jacket Beach Resort. Property was just redone and there was a lot to do for the kids, music at night was also a plus. Overall, very relaxing week. Breakfast buffet was not good, but enjoyed some lunch options. Mostly ate at nearby restaurants.

everything about this property was 10/10. my only thing was i needed daily access to hot water for my medicine and a microwave for my baby food. both cant be done from room so had to go to the restaurant and ask for hot water everyday, and go to second story of indoor pool to use the microwave. other than that this place is fantastic. their clam chowder is better than the famous skipper next door even. and im a new england clam chowder conossieur.

We really enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a beach resort with nice accommodations, an array of activities, and a really nice beach, I’d highly recommend this resort. The staff was very friendly and the rooms look recently redone. Nothing fancy but nice. Breakfast food was mediocre but lunch options were pretty good. Great place for a family getaway.

The front desk check in was excellent and Elias and is very professional and personable. Disappointed how the dining room has not adjusted their menu since Covid. It’s time to update. Been coming to the RJB since 1982 so would definitely qualify as a loyal guest.
