Very nice manager at front desk. Bartender called in sick so bar was closed and the manager was the only person on staff. I don’t feel like this is safe for that single person, and that’s on corporate, but she was great. She helped us with a couple beers. Room was clean and everything worked. It was quiet and we slept really well. Nothing fancy but we were pleased with our stay. We usually stay at higher end places but it was Friday night and we were only sleeping there. It was perfect for our needs and I’m glad we ended up there!

Hotel was dirty in the halls. Dirty bowls were stacked on hallway vents and left overnight along with spills on the floor. Cleaning staff walked by and didn’t acknowledge it. Breakfast was not great. Bread and rolls were hard. Maybe left out and put back out day after day. Room was fairly clean. Front desk staff was nice. I don’t think I’d stay again though.

Absolutely fantastic!!! We travel a lot, and this is BY FAR one of the best hotels we have been to. Extremely clean, rooms smelled fresh, fantastic and friendly staff! Pay for breakfast through Expedia. It’s $13/person at the restaurant.

Average hotel, and the breakfast was quite bland. The real problem was I got up in the morning to prepare for aa meeting and there was no hot water. Not even warm. Had to take an ICE COLD shower. I was told that not even a partial refund could be given due to it being booked through Expedia. I'll never use Expedia again since hotels use it for an excuse to avoid responsibility.

The room adjacent to ours had a party and the noise level was annoying. The rooms had adjoining doors with very little noise protection. The hotel did call the adjacent room to ask them to reduce their noise. It worked for a little while and then subsided at midnight. We will definitely avoid this hotel in the future.

We absolutely lived our time here. It is right next to childrens Mercy, quick to go get food or coffee and most of the staff was great. My main issue was my coffee maker kept leaking but it was on a tray so easy to clean.

Property looks just as pictured. We got a king suite and it has the perfect layout! Comfortable bed, table and chairs, mini kitchen and great shower. Would stay again.

The staff here was AMAZING. Everything was great but our staff interactions were by far the best part. We were there for our child’s medical appointment at Children’s Mercy and the hotel staff treated her like visiting royalty. We will 1000% be back here.

The property was great. The management and staff was great. My problem is with Expedia. Expedia lied to me, they said I could get my room for $44 with taxes and fees, when I got there the hotel said that they never rent rooms at that rate and that Expedia lied to me.

Breakfast buffet was cold. The biscuits were hard. I feel the plates being cold chilled the food which made the eating not pleasant. For the price even with the coupons it wasn't a good experience. The room tv needs guide to find channels. Had to go to front desk to get the information.

This was a nice property. Room was big. Bed super comfy. It was very quiet in and around the property. Great parking situation. Nice gym. Cons: the hot breakfast we paid for was not worth the money and one waitress/cafe lady was rude. The shower didn’t work the best but was hot at least. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall stay was great. Easy. Conveniently located in overland park area. Only thing to mention, prepaid breakfast for each morning for convenience and each day the scrambled eggs were incredibly salty. So salty.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we were not able to check in for our three day visit on the first night. When we got to the hotel the next day, they marked our stay as a no show, which is fine. But they had no room for us to stay as all rooms were also sold out. Fine. But, they are keeping their full payment even though we missed check in and they sold our room. Had they just charged for the one night, or a cancellation fee, fine, but basically made double the money. I really liked this hotel, we have stayed here before, but being unable to work with a family that had a situation come up, nope. Hotels.com keeps rejecting this review even though it does not break any of their posting guidelines they sent…hmmm makes you wonder why.
