Cambria Hotel Denver Downtown RiNo

Overall it was good. Newly built property and the condition was great. Bed was not very comfortable for being new and the sheets were stiff. Tile floors had not been mopped before our stay. There was an odd sulphuric odor in the hallway on our floor. Only 1 elevator worked the 5 night stay. The big issue we had here is that they charge $20 per night to park. For $20 per night I expect a secure parking lot or garage with enough parking for their guests. They have one uncovered surface lot with a coded access arm. It has about 30 spaces. Certainly not enough for all of their guests with vehicles. It is also doesn’t have any direct access into the hotel. You have to shuffle past the gate arm to the sidewalk and walk 50 yards back to the front doors. During our 5 night stay the lot was completely full on Friday and Saturday night upon our return. I then had to go to the front desk to ask where I was supposed to park and was only then informed that there was an overflow lot across the street and if that one was also full the was another “lot” further down the street. The first overflow lot was paved and had temporary fencing around it and not secured. The second “lot” was a vacant lot with fencing around it but just open gates to get in and was part gravel and grass and concrete with no markings of any sort. I requested a refund of those 2 nights of parking since it was basically exposed street parking. They did refund the 2 nights I couldn’t park in the main lot.

The hotel was quite clean and comfortable. Just a couple things that were less than ideal. I found the receptionist at check-in to be a little rude. I asked about parking and he said it was full, so I asked for suggestions of alternatives and he seemed really annoyed. After a delayed flight and arriving late at night it was just not the type of interaction I wanted. Which leads to the second thing: parking. It was unclear to me on reserving that the parking was $20 a night. That’s on Hotels.com, not the hotel. “Self parking available” is not the same as “free parking”. Paying for parking is ridiculous. Luckily there was plenty of free street parking just a block away. Finally, breakfast. Paid only? With the amount you charge for a night’s stay you’d think

Staff's attention and customer service are great, along with the overall cleanliness. The concerns are mainly regarding the logistics around the facilities. Best for people who are not driving because the hotel parking lots are $20 per night. The alternative is street parking or parking on vacant business buildings around the hotel. During most of our 1-week stay, there was only one elevator available, which caused significant delays - especially in the mornings before check-out time. The certificate of inspection inside the elevator had been expired for over a month. The stairs are on the other side of the building on the first floor.

Very easy check in the only downside was there is no direct access from the parking lot where you can pay for overnight parking to the inside of the building so you do have to walk all the way around to access the building.

Very nice hotel. Check-in was easy. Hotel staff were very nice The room and bed were comfortable. There is only street parking or parking in a small lot across the street. I was told that security is present from 10 pm to 6 am. I would stay again.

We love staying here for concerts at Mission Ball Room. Its within walking distance. Plenty of room to get ready with large mirrors. After the show its amazing to relax in the super comfy beds. They offer great food deals down at the Painted Rino. Highly recommended!!

New hotel. Staff is friendly. They need to do a better job with cleaning the rooms. They clean rooms every three days and they missed the day they were meant to come.

4 night staycation during smal home remodel. The hotel was clean and friendly.

This was a great location for our adventures around the area. The hotel was clean and the all the pillows on the bed made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

When they finally found it they gave us our key, I booked a king bed when i got to the room it was 2 queen beds. When we called downstairs to ask about it they said something abt them not having any more king beds. Which is crazy because i booked a king bed and they did not let us know in advance or mention it when we were checking in. Only complaint

Super friendly staff. Great location in a building with new amenities. Like a lot of folks have said, rooms are on the small side. No microwave either. You paid to park and funding a location was kind of disorganized when we checked in. There are multiple lots, and if it is busy, staff may have have to help.

Didn’t like: noisy due to the constant fan in the bathroom and. Also was hard to sleep because the fan to control temperature blows right at the head of the bed. Every time it came on, it was blowing at my head.

So quiet, we got really good sleep which is rare at a hotel.

Pretty new hotel. Rooms are on the small side. I would have preferred a sitting chair in the corner and better lighting. I also would have expected a microwave in the hotel. Having said that, it was a very good experience. 10 minute or so walk to the rail stop. 7 minute trip to union station.

Nice new hotel. It would have gotten five stars if it hadn't been for the constant noise from the bathroom ventilation and some duct noise behind the AC unit, and the fact that the AC unit in the room started for 5 minutes every hour, just circulating air - this might not be a bad thing if it wasn't because the airflow was so strong that it created a strong draft and woke us almost every time.

We really liked the TV feature that allowed streaming from our devices. More hotels should do this. Negative: Very small closet and no drawers for clothing.

The rooms are very small. I say that to say this, the a/c was more of a swap cooler situation versus an actual hotel a/c. We had to change rooms and had the same issue. The temperature struggled to maintain anything under 74 degrees. Again, this seems difficult since the rooms were smaller than your than your average room.

Great place! We had accidentally left our bag of concert souvenirs in the lobby last night and they put it behind the desk and returned it to us when we checked out!

No housekeeping offered at all. I stayed at this hotel three nights. When I called after the first night to say housekeeping hadn’t been, they told me I have been informed about that at check in and had a slip on my room key. That was not true. They said, housekeeping only comes every three days. I said, oh so when I check out then? They offered for my room to be given a light cleaning the next day, I said fine. Sadly, that never happened.

Parking is ass and the customer service was terrible.

The hotel was easy to find. Staff was incredibly friendly and quick for check in. Had food and drinks at the bar and the service was amazing. Would absolutely stay here again.

The morning I was due to check in to the Cambria, I had to change my travel plans due to a death in the family. I called the hotel directly because I was past the cancellation cutoff and was told by the very kind clerk that she would cancel my stay and I would not be charged. However after not seeing a refund more than two weeks after the cancellation, I reached out to Hotels.com who reached out to Cambria. The manager at Cambria declined a refund for my trip despite what the person answering the phone that morning communicated to me. (In the conversation, I was asked who I spoke to, with an expectation that I would remember the name of the person who answered the phone more than two weeks prior and whom I called in the midst of a family emergency.) From my experience, customer service and empathy are not traits of this hotel and I would recommend choosing another hotel who honors their staff's words.

Rick the bartender made us feel welcomed . Everyone was amazing.

Stay was good. A $25 early check-in fee when I was less than an hour from 3 pm regular check in time is unreasonably steep. The reception staff was unaccommodating.

Nice hotel, but located in a very industrial area with scary parking and parking was 20.00 and was not guaranteed

We loved our stay at Cambria RiNo! The staff went out of their way to be helpful and generous, our room was outfitted with tech accessibility (even the bathroom!), and the location is right by the light rail for easy access to downtown. We will definitely stay with Cambria in the future.

Very walkable property

Great location to many walkable spots in RiNo. Really comfortable beds and not noisy at all. Fantastic bathrooms. Convenient parking at a decent rate per night.

We came to Denver for a Rockies game at Coors field. It was a quick uber ride from the hotel. We parked overnight for $20, which isn’t bad around here. The room is very clean and comfortable.

We stayed here to touch down in Denver while getting used to the elevation before going up to the mountains. I love the RiNo Arts district. There are lots of good restaurants and breweries in the area. And it’s easy to get to the highway from this hotel location - not to mention a market right down the block! Would definitely come back.

Newer hotel. Safe area and easy to get on the public transportation from the airport!

The bar and restaurant is very expensive.

We stayed at the Cambria so we could easily walk to a show at the Mission Ballroom. The location is perfect (10 minute walk) and the hotel is beautiful. Our bed (brand new since hotel opened two weeks before our stay) was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. I didn’t want to leave! The bar was nice, and I loved the 24-hour self-checkout candy/nibbles store. We parked in the street rather than pay $20.

The staff were absolutely exceptional, accommodating, and friendly, especially Rick the Bartender and Kasey the server. The food was also some of the best I had while in Denver, Chef Sean did a phenomenal job on every meal I had during my stay. Will be staying again next time I come back to Denver just for the bar and food and amazing staff!

Bar was closed, “pool” is a wading pool.

Breakfast was outrageously priced for what you get. Pillows have some sort of plastic anti theft tag on the corners that make it uncomfortable to sleep. Rooms are tiny for the price and not really located near anything you would want to walk to. Asked for housekeeping 2 times and no one ever came.

When breakfast closes at 10am and I arrived at the counter at 0950 with jet lag being told that it’s closed it’s just not good enough. I didn’t want a large breakfast just a cup of coffee and some fruits.

I liked the fact that the hotel was close to the light rail. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly and approachable. I had breakfast and appetizers/drinks in the hotel restaurant, all of it was tasty. I’d stay again for sure!

I really liked everything about the property I came to visit my Son and I had a wonderful time we had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and my room was wonderful
