Liked: cleanliness of facilities, breakfast selections and free coffee/tea in lobby helpful staff, pool and hot tub, closeness to the beach, pet-friendly, room size, etc. Disliked: There is only one elevator and it needs an upgrade. It is used by the guests and the cleaning staff so it can take several minutes for it to be available. The elevator also broke down twice during our stay although it was repaired fairly quickly each time.

The hot tub was cold the first night and the front desk said maintenance already went home. The safe in our room did not work. I left my watch charger in the room and they said they did not find it. Our air conditioner in the room rattled. Maintenance came up and said the vent cover was just loose and then it started rattling again at night and we had to shut it off. The lobby was freezing cold. Had to wear coat to eat breakfast. $16 a night for party was a little expensive!

The room had a dehumidifier running . Room smelled musty. Construction on first floor was loud and annoying . Construction caused elevator to be out of service from 11am - 7pm for two whole days . Since I have copd this was a huge inconvenience.

We loved staying here! Everything was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops was perfect. My only complaint is that the elevator made really frightening noises and we decided to take the stairs for the rest of our stay. But we would definitely stay here again!

Although its proximity to the beach was great, the hotel left a lot to be desired. It was, in a word, dirty. The pool had debris on the bottom. The room hadn't been vacuumed. The hall had cigarette wrappers, candy wrappers, paper, and general crud everywhere. Breakfast was limited to chewy omelets, cereal, and breads that were going stale. The room had stains and even sticky areas on the walls. The sheets didn't fit the bed and you could feel the springs through the mattress. And the mattress pad to the cot had crumbs and hair stuck to it. The staff was pleasant, but the hotel was so gross we left before our last night. Very disappointing.

Great location with view of the beach. It was very quiet and we felt incredibly safe. Our room was immaculately clean. The bed & pillows were incredibly comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Hotel was clearly in the end stages of renovation. Our room seems good at first. However I began to feel allergy symptoms. That night I couldn’t sleep because I felt so sick. As I lay in bed I looked up and realized the ceiling was covered in mold. So everything looked new and pretty but they didn’t start by getting rid of the mold - paint the ceiling, using Killz primer first?!? They switched us to the only available room, which also had mold spots but but as many. That room had a huge dehumidifier so they clearly are aware of the mold issue. I also noticed ink stains on one of the pillowcases. The front desk and breakfast staff was very friendly.

When I arrived at my room the door was open. There was a huge fan in the carpet blowing hot air. The room temperature was on heat at 85 degrees. It was a very hot day in Florida. The carpet was wet. My door would not clew properly and everything was filthy. I still got my baggage and move in because I was evacuating from a Hurricane on the gulf coast Florida. I was not in the room for more than 5 minutes when the front desk called (Amanda) and told we had to evacuate by 8:00 AM the next morning. I asked if there were an recommendations for where I could go, and all I got was “No” and a hang up. I can’t believe Expedia even recommended this property. I wasn’t at the hotel for more than an hour before leaving, and I still was charge for the night. Shame on Expedia for even recommending a place like this.

Shower was moldy, baseboard tile was missing, rug was dirty. Also, the first person I spoke to when I called to check on my reservation, seemed bothered that I had called and had some questions. They’re supposed to have a 24-7 front desk. Granted I called at midnight, but she was supposed to be working during midnight. The rest of the staff was very nice and helpful once we got there.

We had an extremely noisy air conditioner in our room. It was the noisiest air conditioner I have ever heard, My sister had a room next door and she had central air, but for some reason we had a air conditioning unit beneath our window. The tv on the wall was so crooked and could not simply be straightened out. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Card keys would not work. Had to keep getting keys rescanned. They need to replace their card readers on all doors. We kept getting locked out of the building and eventually the hotel just left the back hallway door unlocked which was unsafe. The bars in the shower were placed perfectly so you could not fit in the shower

Loved the room but the beds were starting to get diverts from where people have slept. No cell phone coverage…Verizon…and WiFi was super slow. The common breakfast area was too small for the weekend crowd.

Staff were not polite on check in, actually seemed bothered to have to do their job. I asked why I was having to pay an extra 20% fee beyond Hotel.com charge that reportedly included all fees and service, then they really became rude. At least final add on charge was less than quoted at about 13% added fees. Hotel was otherwise adequate.

We loved the location to and easy access to Vilano Beach and convenient to the greater region . The staff, Michelle, Brooke and Judy, were very friendly and helpful: especially handling a booking/cancellation we had due to unexpected change of plans. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!

There was one or two staff members that actually showed politeness and helpfulness one was Brooks in the front desk but on the date we checked out there was a very rude and unfriendly young lady That I would not return to that property ever due to her unwillingness to help customers.

Where to begin. The rooms we're dirty. Housekeeping would make the bed without changing the sheets. Specifically asked for more towles from them and never received them. The door lock was a chore in itself keys wouldnt work, had to pray to the lock gods to get it to work. Hotel only had 1 elevator, not efficient for the number of guests. Elevator has seen better days. Hard stops and starts. Tv remote would work when it wanted it to. Breakfast buffett was questionable. Definitely not prepared for the number of guests that were had the hotel. I have been to several hampton inns and never had any issues. I based my booking on those past visits. Definitely was not up to standard. .. the

I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly. Always a smile and hello. Also, upon arriving we were so exhausted and wanted a quick bite to eat without going too far from the hotel. The desk clerk was helpful with us finding a nearby place that we loved. Great breakfast too. The cleaning crew paid attention to details whether in the room or lobby. The location couldn’t be better. On the beach and close to the historic district. Publix is across the street! We loved it!

The breakfast crew did not arrive, so the excellent front desk person was desperately trying to prepare food and serve it and deal with people at the checkout. MANAGMENT should have been there to assist. The front desk person did an excellent job. Lack of food for breakfast, coffee was not properly prepared, The swimming pool area had not been cleaned in the morning. There was a party the night before and there was someone who had vomited outside of the pool I have stayed at this location before. There’s definitely an issue with staffing. This hotel has the best location, just one block walk to beautiful Vilano Beach. The hotel and the beach is dog friendly. Across the street from the hotel is Publix with nice deli options so we didn't have to eat at restaurants everyday. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is included and they provide 2 beach chairs & sun umbrella for $25 per day. The lobby and exterior of the property are great but the rooms are definitely older. Don't expect much from the rooms since the property is all about the gorgeous beach just outside the door.

It was super close to the beach. Pool and jacuzzi were great. One block from Publix and a couple of restaurants. Less than 10 minute's from the main street/downtown by car. Cheap ubers so we could enjoy a fe drinks. Quiet at night. Very comfortable bed. Overall great value! Would recommend!

We were very disappointed. It was described as a room with a oceanview, but you could barely see the ocean. It is not located on the beach and the dunes that were built are too high for the room to be described with a view. The breakfast was not good at all, the eggs were not great. The sausage looked like it was not cooked. The orange juice dispenser did not work. We were very disappointed in our stay for the cost of the room. On a good note the bed was comfortable.

The check in process is important to us- it all starts here! Cameron here at the front desk made this so easy- we've met him before, and he is so professional, it's amazing. We used the pool for the first time here, and it was great as well. Great location- a short 2 minute walk to the beach. Very clean, large room, can't get any better. Breakfast was phenomenal!
