Close to the historic district attractions. Plenty of parking (and level 2 EV chargers available). Clean with lots of room for enjoying the complimentary breakfast. Allows pets but didn't encounter any. Only issue that should be addressed for safety - the room door didn't latch easily - seemed to affect all the doors on our side of the hall, several were not shut fully as we passed.

Typical corporate hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Free breakfast was good; they do switch it up a little from day to day. Hotel in a safe area (just don't try to cross US1!); a bit of a walk to center of Historic District, but very doable. Front desk employees consistently attentive, courteous and professional. Only negatives: pool water was ice cold, and gym was very small with only one bench available. Overall, I would stay here again.

The lady at check in wasn’t super friendly, but the ladies who checked us out were great. Did not love that we had to pay to park (I am glad that hotels.com has the information available so that I knew ahead of time) - $20/day seems pretty steep to me. Room was spacious and pretty clean, although there were a couple bugs in the room. Our door was very hard to close and always looked like it was propped open. The pool was nice, but the seating in the pool area was very uncomfortable. Loved that there were some streaming options available on the tv. Great selection at breakfast.

Excellent breakfast. Catherine was an exemplary staff member. Good laundry facilities. The only thing missing was a bar/restaurant but there is a Dennys in the Days Inn next door.

The staff was very welcoming. Room was nice and very clean. Housekeeping did a great job room cleaned everyday with plenty of towels. Text from manager to see if we needed anything. Close to downtown historic district across the street from trolley ticket office. Quiet and safe area.

The lobby has a strange odor that smells like a sewer. I asked the man at the counter about the smell. He said that he didn't smell anything, but her had just put on hand lotion so maybe that's why he couldn't smell anything. I didn't think that was a very helpful response! Other than that, the facilities were fine and the rest of the staff was very kind and helpful. The $20 a night parking seemed high, considering that it was a 25 minute walk to the historic downtown part of town.

This was the cleanest room I think I've ever stayed in! Bed was very comfortable too! Staff was great! While this hotel isn't in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, it was close enough for my hubby and I to walk, i.e. one mile from hotel to St. George's street, which is an easy walk for us. The breakfast had the most variety of any hotel breakfast I've ever had. Loved this hotel! I would definitely stay here again!

Left Orlando ahead of a major hurricane. Fast and perfunctory check-in. Elevators did smell strongly of wet dogs which could be easily fixed. Bedroom was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast didn’t have bacon/sausages (just sausage gravy) and had to ask for cream cheese but other than that was well replenished which was impressive considering how busy the hotel was. Adding tea options and hot chocolate would have been a bonus and the usual for the price. Unfortunately didn’t get to see the area since we were driving on to Georgia but there seems to be plenty to do.

The room was very spacious and updated with good taste. However, the mattress in our room was extremely hard. Please consider getting softer mattresses when changing them. Since hotel has platform beds the mattress firmness gets amplified. I did not feel rested when I woke up even when everything else in the room was conducive to get a restful night. Next time, I will have to test the bed before accepting a hotel room from your chain. Everuthing else was perfect just the bed was hard as a rock.

Check in on Friday was good. Catherine was very nice. My only comment on the room is the pillows were not very substantial. They flattened down when you laid on them. The front desk clerk on Saturday morning was very rude to an older lady who was on crutches. The lady was trying to put the crutches down out of the way and she put them on the back of the sofa. The front desk clerk quickly came to the dining area to have them moved so not to dirty up the sofa since the crutches you know have so much dirt on them. The lady leaned them on her table and they kept sliding down and she was having to catch them. Her husband ended up putting them on the floor because the floor was so clean, there was no worry from the clerk about how dirty the floor might have been where this handicapped person had to place her crutches. But hey, the one inch area of your sofa was protected from the bottom part of the crutches which were the only part to touch the floor until she had to put them on the floor where people with whatever on their feet had been walking. You need to do better with disabled elderly people. The lady was quite embarrassed over the whole thing. Those of us watching from our own tables felt bad for her.

Rooms were super spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The location is good. Walkable to fountain of Youth but not to Castillo San Marco. It is a short drive (maybe less than 5 mins) to Castillo San Marco.

Overall great hotel! Room was clean and looked nice. Customer service was amazing! About one mile from historic downtown and walking is not an issue for us. Nothing special about breakfast. Bed was comfortable but bring your own pillows (if you can) because they were flat and lacked fill. Wish they had the sitting area set up better. There was hardly any light and hard to see the TV.

It was overall a good stay. My only two complaints is (1) the air wouldn't stay on, and it wouldn't let us keep it low enough to be comfortable. (2) The shower floor creaked and groaned horribly, which was unnerving. Otherwise, it was fine. The room was clean.

We went to St Augustine to see the Nights of Lights and chose this hotel for our stay. Other than some confusion of which Hampton Inn location our reservation was actually for (there are two fairly close together) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, the main hotel is clean and maintained and the staff are very friendly and promptly fulfill any need.

Many time items will run out such as coffee, milk, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. The staff was nice and always brough the missing items but we should not have to ask. The location was convenient to the historical district and walkable. Poll and jacuzzi area are very nice and well mantained with pool towels provided. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property is in a prime location if you're a history buff or someone who likes ease of access and safety. The neighborhood was nice and clean the locals and staff were friendly. It's a very walkable area with the river on one side and the Lady la Leche just a road over. Peacocks can be seen all over town. The Castillo and Fountain of youth also within walking distance. The entire city smells like honeysuckle.

Overall our stay was ok. The price per night is a bit too high. Parking is also an added expensive and IMO should be included in the per night cost. The property is clean and close to St George street attractions. About a 20 minute walk but doable and nice.
