Nice property. Surprised the mediocre breakfast cost $13, disappointed a $200+ room didn’t have a free breakfast. Also refused to give us one minute late checkout unless we were “members”. The pool was excellent.

Clean and friendly staff. Parking is a bit tight.

Everything here was amazing! The breakfast is delicious! The staff are so friendly! The pool are hot tub are very clean! The rooms are clean, nice, big beds, only thing about the beds in that they was a little hard for my liking but everything else made up for it! Definitely will be booking again!

The lady who checked us in (I believe her name was Monica) was very nice and considerate. She was an absolute joy. The room was great and had everything we needed. In our short stay, we were able to go to the gym, order dinner from the restaurant (everything was delicious), and relax in the hot tub for a bit.

The room smelled nice and clean, but there was a “humid” feeling on the floors and surfaces. The area is very convenient to the university and to I-10 and mall and airport. Nice bar and restaurant/but closes early. Very little parking. Safe, but not the very best area — but is near interstate so safe as it can be! I would stay here again. Staff was great! But, I didn’t get the room I reserved. Guess that’s what I get for booking through a 3rd party.

It’s clean, quiet, safe and the staff are courteous and helpful. It has a restaurant, gym, pool, hot tub, mini-store and a guest laundry. The room is quiet & clean. It has a mini-ref, coffee maker, iron & ironing board. It has a lot plugs/sockets. The bathroom is well-lit, it has a modern look, it has shampoo, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner & a blow dryer. The bed is clean and the pillows are soft.

The bed was AWFUL. I felt every spring. The pillows were awful, flat, stinky. The room smelled bad and the bathroom was dirty.

My room was dirty i was inconvenienced somebody had to remake my bed because they didn't change my linen. I pull mu sheets back and saw that my sheets were slept on and disgusting..

Our room was dirty. The carpet was wet, the pillows had a bad smell, the room smelled musty overall, there was garbage on the floor from the previous guests.

The room was so so clean. The handle on the closet door is falling off. Upon arrival we pulled the sheets and mattress cover back. The mattress cover had blood stains on it. Bathroom was so so clean. Bathroom shower had dirt built up on the bottom of the glass doors. All in all the stay was ok. Needs to be updated and renewed

During my stay, my experience was far below acceptable standards. Upon arrival, I waited over 20 minutes at the front desk before anyone appeared to check me in. I was then placed on a floor filled with an entire college football team whose noise and activity kept me up throughout the night. The next morning, I requested clean sheets and a new comforter from housekeeping, but the attendant informed me there was a “five-day rule” and that bedding could not be changed before five days — even upon request. This policy is unsanitary and unacceptable. When I went to the front desk for help, the clerk responded with an attitude, making me feel like my request for clean bedding was unreasonable. Additionally, my room had a constant ticking noise coming from the wall, the bathroom contained pubic hair that I had to clean myself, and the “non-smoking” room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy Lysol. This experience was extremely disappointing, uncomfortable, and well below the standards expected from a hotel listed through Hotels.com. I am requesting a refund or travel credit for the inconvenience and poor conditions I endured. Please forward this complaint to hotel management and confirm receipt as soon as possible. Our room was comfortable and the staff was nice. Our room felt very bright even with the shades down. I’m not sure if we were just very close to outdoor lighting but it looked like daytime outside all night.

Unpin arrival the room was damp and smelled musky. They gave us another room. Rooms outdated. Expedia hotel pictures over hype it. It’s very outdated and not worth the nightly price.

Room was very hot. Never got below 77. Comforter on the bed had holes in it with the stuffing falling out. Staff didn’t seem to care.

Nice, sizable room with microwave, refrigerator, coffee and lots of space to relax.

Lights blaring outside our room all night. Given a room that had an adjourned room via door, my wife did not like this. Bed was uncomfortable. In the morning the person in charge of breakfast lied about the cutoff time. So we did not get to have breakfast. Overall I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The rooms were spacious, clean, nice and cool (doesn’t happen often in a hotel), and very comfortable!!

Everything was great except the bed. If you're looking for a softer bed this is not the place to stay. We definitely would have been more comfortable sleeping in the car

Clean and great customer service

The front desk clerk Nae was the nastiest front desk person I have ever experienced throughout all my travels. She had a nasty attitude. She was stuffing her face and arguing with someone on the phone about someone picking up something in her home while I sat there waiting. Extremely unprofessional

Clean rooms. All the staff super friendly and helpful. So convenient to eating and shopping. Breakfast buffet was awesome and reasonably priced

Clean room, great staff & good breakfast

We left our laptop computer when leaving the hotel. They called us before we even knew it was missing. We were not able to return to retrieve it. The staff was amaizing. They shipped it to us. We so appreciated all there efforts.

We reserved and paid for a double queen room however, they over sold their 2 queen rooms and had none available when we arrived. My daughters had to share a full sized spring ridden couch bed. We were promised a double queen room for our second night since we had a 2 night reservation. When we went down to move our room at 3pm, we were told there were none available. The manager said she couldn’t do anything and offered no resolution other than to take my phone number.

Requested wake up call both mornings, did not receive. Secomd time that room type was wrong when got there and hsd to get it changed. Have stayed many times but this time was not happy.

Front desk extremely helpful

Carpet in Hallway had a big tear on 3rd floor. Checkout was a struggle. Two people helped us, after over 20 minutes they still couldn’t produce a receipt. They promised an email receipt but still nothing

Perfect for our road trip on way to New Orleans. Easy access off the highway.

Close to interstate, clean and surrounded by places to eat and gas. I was concerned about certain folks hanging around the area.

Difficult to get to due to all the u turns you have to make. No easy access to fast food, again do to traffic issues and u turns. Hotel breakfast is expensive. I feel as though they take advantage of it being so hard to go elsewhere for food. The restaurant is even called the UTurn. Clean enough....strong chlorine smell on 5th floor but no indoor pool. It was fine for one night

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed eating the wings in their restaurant. It was nice to not have to travel to go buy food. I wish breakfast was included. We had to pay extra for that, and it’s the same breakfast they always have at the holiday inn expresses.

I was under the impression that breakfast was included in this stay and then when I arrived they told me I didn't get the breakfast package. They said it was going to be $6 per person each morning. Then when I got the breakfast it wasn't that great. Holiday Inn breakfasts include cinnamon rolls and they didn't have any. In addition there was construction next door going on so you could hear the construction. Also, the housekeeping staff were extremely loud in the morning going on and on about their personal business and social life. I won't be staying here again.

Hotel staff was great, friendly, restaurant staff a little slow but food was great. I reserved a king room through Hotel.com guaranteed when we got there I was told there was none available, had to move to queen room same price just comped breakfast which was good.

Hotel needs a deep cleaning, some updates and replacement of broken/worn out furniture. The cooked to order breakfast cost way too much and was the same basic self serve every other hotel has for free. I may have been confused on what cooked to order means.
