Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Myers

Not a good place to stay. Sent crew with a company credit card that I used on this site and they would not take it because it did not have their name on it. Everything broke at hotel and out of order. Ice machine etc. Sheets stained. Small roaches. Next time I will read the reviews.

This is the worst place we have stayed at. The room was old and well worn. The bathroom had rusty bars on the tub. There was some kind of air cleaner in the vanity area. Created a lot of heat. By morning the whole floor was so flooded with water. It took 3 towels to sop it up. The outside was littered and people were throwing things off of the upper floors. . Lastly the bug that i killed right arrival was more than I could take. So disappointed that this is under the Wyndham group[. It was rated 2 stars NO WAY!!!! Lastly there were no amenities, Kleenex coffee, cups. They had to issue us a remote for the TV and the ice machines were not working well. We had to get it from the front desk. Sorry guys this was a dump

It's a short walk from a 24 hour convenient store and a beautiful cycling trail. You may have some noisy neighbors so just be sure to bring some loud rain sounds or something to sleep to. They don't clean the rooms daily so if you need anything, just ask. Pool was closed. I went to visit my son and enjoy the weather though so I just needed a place to sleep and it's fine for that.

Dirty. Non-smoking room had cigarette burns on the comforter. Door lock was broken, took 2 hours to fix. Advertised breakfast was unavailable, laundry was broken, no hot water

This place was gross! The front door to the lobby doesn't work and it's always open, they charge you an additional $100 when you get there (Surprise "deposit"), the pool isn't open, there is no breakfast, there is no house keeping, i had no towels in the room, the door wouldn't open except every 4th try, the room had eye lashes on the bathroom floor, the bed covers and sheets had dark stains all over them and they don't care about there customers satisfaction. Be warned!!

The photos make it seem like breakfast is served, but the breakfast room is closed and there is a note stating that there is no breakfast. The facilities say that there is a business space, but that is just a desk in the small lobby against the wall. The WiFi was very poor, little range and very slow. I had to pay a $100 deposit, but I'm really wondering what for. Everything was already broken. The hotel photos are misleading. This hotel should not be offered! I have never experienced anything so bad and dirty.

This hotel was the worst place I have ever stayed. Broken refrigerator when I ask them to get me another that one was not working either. Lamp between the beds are broken. Holes in the wall that was patched with cardboard. The elevator inspection had expired in August of 2022. Floors were dirty. Plaster on the walls and ceiling were coming off. This hotel should not be on your website. I will never stay at super 8 by Windham again. Worst 3 nights of my life.

I think the only thing that was clean was the bed, toliet, sink, and bathroom (hopefully). Everything else was dirty and falling apart. Even the face of the building needed to be pressured cleaned. The website said they had a pool, but in reality, it was more of a pond complete with it's own ecosystem. There is no breakfast, even though you can "upgrade" for it on Orbitz, which I did and got no refund for it.

There was no breakfast, only a half-empty snack machine, the gate to the pool was chained shut by the city, and the clerk scanned my license and credit card over my objections (and worry about stolen ID). He said it was company policy. The description on the Internet was totally false. It was a dump and I will not be back.

The shower had hair in it upon my arrival, shower curtain and bathroom walls had boogers all over. Floors had not been cleaned, lamp didn’t work. Some black mold in bathroom ceiling. No one came to clean or give fresh towels or linens my entire stay which was 4 days.

Within 5 mins of booking, I requested a refund. Bugs and roaches in room. Bathroom ceiling falling in. This place should be condemned.

There is no cleanliness that there should be in a hotel, it is horrible, there is a stench in the room, there is no power outlet to charge cell phones, there is no coffee maker to make coffee in the morning, they do not have a breakfast, the sink is falling apart, everything is dirty, including the elevator, it is dirty and even has damage to its structure, they should close this entire facility, because it cannot be called a hotel, it is possible that there are better pig farms. I do not recommend it to anyone, the furniture is disgusting.,.........

Very under maintained property. It looks like it could have been a nice place 15 years ago. Many stains and cigarette burn holes in the top blanket of the bed and the chair was very stained and dirty. Should have left, but options at the time were limited.

I killed two roaches. Had to go to Wal Mart to buy new bedding due to blood stained sheets. Bought Bathroom cleaner w/bleach to clean room. Think they are gonna bill me for the dirty towel I used to clean with? I should have pitched a tent in the back of my truck.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting. There were holes in the wall blood on the wall in the bathrooms spit all over the back of the bathroom door burn holes in the bedsheets paint peeling off the walls window so dirty you couldn’t even see out. This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever give a thought of absolutely deplorable unsanitary unsafe I don’t even know how it has an occupancy permit from the Board of Health, the building should be burned to the ground. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Check in was the clue - a lone hotel worker behind a security screen and a few shady looking characters hanging around the lobby in the darkened lounge. The hotel looks fine in the pictures but is well past its sell-by date. When we got to the rooms the walls had holes in them and when we checked the mattresses, bed bugs. We checked straight out. This is my first disappointment with Super 8 - someone from the franchise needs to visit and close them down.

It was very outdated, the shower had a handicap bar that was rusted around the tub, and the comforter had cigarette burn holes (sheets seemed clean). Paint was chipped off the walls. The dehumidifier was very noisy so we turned it off. The space under the door was so big any number of critters (like snakes) could have came through. I would have left if I knew where to go and it wasn’t so late. When I did finally fall asleep I woke up to the sound of loud bass and singing. It lasted for a long time and seemed to be coming from the parking lot. I know they can’t always be controlled by staff immediately and it did stop eventually.

Totally fine place to stay for the night. Giving it a low rating for the wifi not working and it being generally a bit noisy and run-down. Reception/lobby especially leaves a run-down impression, but the rooms are a bit better. Oddly picky about you bringing your TV remote back to the front desk at the end of your stay too. No breakfast, but you get a mini fridge and microwave in your room!

This hotel needs a remodel, holes poorly repaired in the walls, no housekeeping any of the days we stayed there. Noisy at night.

There was an extra bed stuck in the room on the floor. The bathroom was musty and had no A/C in it so you could not close the door or it was a sauna. Place felt very unsafe.

The property itself wasn’t bad, just smelled musty and even though I had a non smoking room I could still smell smoke. Also needed better bedding (blanket wise)

The door to room 419 does not lock automatically! Luckily there was a deadbolt once inside! Furniture was literally torn up! Corner bead in bathroom was ripped off the wall! Woke up to a cockroach on the floor! Sheet had a holes in it! TV did not work properly! Super slow check in! Required a $100 deposit without notice! Halls and common areas were filthy! Breakfast was advertised but “unavailable”! The whole experience was the worst motel experience in my 48 years on this earth!!!! It may have been cheap, but if given the chance, they’d have to pay me to stay there ever again!

Poor condition, clogged sink, poor air conditioner, dirty place, walls coming apart, cockroaches in the room.

Horrible. The room was in sever need of painting. The shower stall ceiling was coming off. The water faucet would only come out at half the size of the sticker. I tried 4 different outlets before I found 1 that would work. No throw away drink glasses. No bag to line the ice bucket. The door ways were rusting and badly chipped. No Kleenex. Less than 1/3 tool of toilet paper and no extra roll. No breakfast.

No breakfast. Supplies in room limited. Had to put $100 deposit. Never ever had to do that. Sign on wall in entry had something about prostitution. The front desk had a shield in front of it. Had to work on the tv only one station. The staff spoke different language. When a customer is there please speak English. Didn’t feel safe. Would of left if our room was not paid for.l Probably will never go to a Super 8 again.

This place is God awful. The front desk lady demanded cash in order to check in. I refused and offered a credit card and she started screaming at me in some foreign language. When I asked for a key to the lobby restroom, she gave me a paper clip.

The Front Desk, and Cleaning Staff are all amazing!

Staff was courteous and helpful.

No room cleanings for a week even when requested. Maids/front clerks requested I remove the sheets and bring them to check in to be given my sheets to place them on the bed myself. Only a half a roll of toilet tissue in the room at arrival with no replacement and had to get TV remote from front clerks and return remote at check out while I waited on the room to be inspected before my deposit would be released.

The hotel staff was friendly.

Room ceiling paint was chipping off and falling down, blanket full of burn holes. Parking lot used as a cut through between streets so car noise all night long. Security in area was suspect. Didn’t feel comfortable at all. Not worth the rate paid. Would not stay here regardless of price.

It was filthy unsafe, nothing like they said it should be, gunshots in the parking lot. Stayed 1 night, i want my money back, had to go elesewhere and pay more i was very unsatisfied.

Sejour juste acceptable pour une nuit, la chambre etait relativement propre, le mobilier pas en tres bon etat, voir cassé, une lampe avec la prise cassé, pas de produit de toilette, il manquait une serviette, mais tout a été rétabli rapidement, pas de petit dejeuner, juste le café a venir chercher a l’accueil, et surtout le bruit de la highway passante, tres peu d'insonorisation. Nous avons voulu changer de chambre, mais apparemment les chambres avec deux lits ne sont que de ce côté, a l'opposé seul des ch1mbres un lit donc pas pour les familles comme nous. Pour informations, les photos du site, que ce soit hotel.com ou autre, ne reflètent en aucun cas la réalité, celle ci doivent datées de plusieurs années . Bref a éviter sauf cas d'urgence

This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at. The entire place was run down, dirty and broken. The room was filthy, used towel in the shower, broken towel rack so towels were set on the toilet, cigarette burns on the bed spread, the list goes on. Our home still does not have power after Milton so we reluctantly stayed. However the location was awful. There were homeless outside that we literally saw urinating in the stairwell, a large hole in the fence so poeple from the neighboring apartment complex would just walk over as they please. We had our 9 month old with us and i felt incredibly unsafe staying there. The upstairs occupants had many loud confrontations throughout the night and their dogs barked most of the night as well. Do not waste your money on this place!

Completely Dissatisfied. Our Stay Was Supposed To Be From Wed, Feb 26-Fri, Feb 28. We Were Traveling From Augusta And Didnt Arrive Until About 4:30a Thurs. I Was Already Upset By How The Lobby Looked And A Bunch A Sign Stating No Breakfast. Which Was One Of The Main Reasons That I Booked. We Had 2 Rooms Booked But Only Ended Up Using One For One Night Because There Were Roaches. My Sister Was Uncomfortable And Slept In The Car. Completely Understandable. Furniture Was Broken In The Room, Bathroom Was Dirty, There Were Holes In The Sheets. There Was A Man Working The Desk And He Offered Us To Switch Rooms, But There Wasn’t A Difference. I Called Around, But By That Point, Surrounding Hotel Were Booked. He Did Ask If We Wanted A Full Refund But We Had No Where Else To Go. He Mentioned That If We Checked Out By 11am That He Would Refund Us The Rest. The Next Morning Around 10am, I Shared My Concerns With The Woman At The Front And She Checked Me Out Early. This Was Still Thursday At The Time. She Said That Because I Booked With Expedia, That My Refund Would Come Through Them. I Then Reached Out To Expedia And They Told Me Not To Worry Because They Would Handle It. It Is Now Monday And Expedia Is Trying To Tell Me That Because They Cant Get Them On The Phone, Then They Can’t Process My Refund. That Makes Absolutely No Sense To Me. I Called Super 8 On Saturday Morning When I Was Heading Back To Jersey And They Told Me That They Were Having Phone Issues But It Was Back Up Now.

I have stayed here from time to time, since last year... the last time I stayed I showed up around 4pm or so, and come to find out the water was literally off until about 9pm that night. so Much for taking a shower. I wish I would've known BEFORE HAND but that is not something they advertise. also their is no breakfast so please take that off their amenity list.

Had to pay a $100 deposit was not told. Thats what I paid for the room. Shower had soap from the last people and toilet was dirty. No breakfast sign hand written when I walked in.
