Staff was always courteous and helpful. Very nice place if you want a rest from the party scene. The grounds need maintenance, but if you can look past that it will be a great stay. The rooftop pool gives you a view that you will not easily find in all of Cancun.

I hotel was very very beautiful and eccentric, good staff but it only has one restaurant so your food options within the hotel are limited

Most of the amenities are still broken from storm. Only 1 bar open and it closed at 7pm. Staff was great just not very many. Clearly not as advertised.

Lo malo de este Hotel es que la piscina principal y la del roof bar tiene agua fria y eso desalienta meterse en ella apesar de que la principal es muy bonita. Otro detalle es que la playa esta en una zona donde el nivel del agua es muy bajo asi que nadar tampoco se puede.

Beautiful resort with super friendly staff and good room service food options. Had no idea that part of the resort was wrecked by a hurricane last year. Some of the beach was unaccessible, spa was completely wrecked/closed, and some of the walk ways were closed off. Water at the resort was expensive. We ended up buying water else where the second day. I really liked that its location it a little away from the main hotel zone, it was quiet and not crowded. Excellent service whether i was at the pool, on the beach, or in my room.

This is a beautiful and unique property, unfortunately the paths were all closed. The restaurant is amazing. The staff are all wonderful. The rooms are modern. Only thing that was difficult was the noise, traffic is right there. Everything else about this place is awesome though. I recommend staying here if you are a little bit hippie or Buddhist.

The property is small but spacious with an authentic mexican feel. The pool on the roof was under construction but other than that. Clean and spacious with wonderful employees

I loved this hotel is small but was amazing, the staff are amazing . Just wish the pool had heat but I jumped in anyway…. Was 1 night but very nice ….

Upon our arrival at the hotel, it’s was not appealing at all, cockroach inside our room, broken chairs at the swim pool, there was no beach area at all which they said on their website. Broken walkways, wood floors are broken I almost fell down because it was not secure at all.

Everyone, from janitors to the front of house, made an effort to talk to guests and share their experiences. The hotel clearly makes an effort to hire and keep great people - clean and comfortable hotel throughout - amazing and unique design - 10 minutes from the airport - fascinating re-wilding project in the mangrove swamp A handful of negatives too: - hurricane damage has made some parts of the hotel less useable - sargazo deposits make the mangrove smelly when you get close - the road is noisy, I’d recommend some ear plugs These negatives are outweighed by the positives and reflected in the price, which is great value. The hotel also communicated them clearly in advance. Overall, a great recommendation for a short stay in Cancun. It’s certainly different from the standard industrial hotel

Al salir a la zona de piscina había un olor a aguas negras de drenaje en toda la zona.

La limpieza es grandiosa, personal muy amable.

Room was ok, resort needs improvement as everything it on poor conditions. Restaurant was also not as great. It a little isolated from everything around. No transportation available so i was using a lots of uber. All soap and champoo dispenser was empty still after i request a refill at frontdesk. It really loud with the highway on the side with poor door isolation i woke up everynight with speedy cars and motocycle noise. Dirty bed sheet and pillow cover.

The room smelled of urine. The entire hotel complex was in disrepair boards missing wire exposed dangerous. There was no water provided or available unless you paid over $1.50 usd for a tiny bottle. Water is a basic necessity come on. The breakfast also very cheap. No coffee pot in room no chairs on balcony as pictured. And did I mention the smell!! Very upset with hotels claiming an 8 score does not deserve more than a 1or 2 at best. Whoever owns this is a slum lord. Really terrible.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is not like the typical resort but it is definitely a good vibe. Staff is nice and helpful and made our stay really good. The reviews on here do say that there is a lot of noise at night which there is because the hotel is next to Main Street but after 12 AM, I did not hear too much noise and was able to sleep good. They have a safe provided for you to leave stuff that you wanna keep safe. It does smell fishy, but that's just part of it being by the shore. This resort is more of a shore type of resort because it is not the actual beach you have access to it's more of the shore. It is still quite pleasant. There is some damage to some things but nothing that would make you not enjoy your time here, the pools are maintained clean. Food was good at the restaurant. Drinks were good nice relaxing time. Easy to get Uber and Uber eats. The only thing not related to this resort day was some of my activities that I had scheduled would not come pick us up at this hotel but they would make us go to the residence Inn, which is a one minute Uber ride or 12 min walk. Definitely would return and recommend if you want something more relaxed with not too much people.

There was no hot water during our one week stay. Drinking water should also be provided throughout the stay instead of only providing 2 bottles for the whole duration of our stay. Road noise was pretty loud but that didn’t bother us too much as we’re deep sleepers. It was nice that earplugs were provided. Overall the staff was very nice and made our stay enjoyable.

Room was clean. Room was quiet with the inner door closed that effectively blocked the road noise. It's close to the airport and perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight. Not close to anything else. There was an occasional small problem with a sewer gas oder in the bathroom.

Booked for one night only as I was heading to Holbox island. The entrance is gorgeous and the staff are kind. The rooftop pool is awesome and the views of the ocean are incredible. The rooms are fairly basic which is ok for the price but the doors are so thin that you hear the cars and transport trucks on the busy road outside. Bring earplugs, and I hope you are a sound sleeper! As a solo female traveler, I also didn't fully trust the locks on the doors, so would recommend they invest in heavier doors with a better lock mechanism. The bed was comfortable and clean at least. The hotel is close to the airport but I wouldn't recommend if you're planning on having a good night sleep before a long flight. The restaurant was ok and it was nice to have breakfast in the morning.

this was a really good price and the place itself was really unique, the staff was super friendly, however just want to give everyone the info I wish I had, the area was hit by a storm and a lot of the beach area is not operational, the swimming area is more of like a marsh area than the ocean , air conditioning does not work that well and also will not operate without a room key left in the slot thing that acts as a circuit breaker. YOU CAN HEAR THE MAIN ROAD COMICALLY WELL ALL NIGHT, MOTOROCYCLES GOING BY EVERY TWO SECONDS. It sounds like theres a speaker at the door amplifying it. The food was really good here and the staff was super nice, also this is close to the airport, not the entire hotel zone.

We stayed in a king room with direct access to the plunge pool…what a treat to just step out the back door and dip into a basically private pool. So romantic and relaxing. The bed was comfortable, pillows soft, and towels extra large and absorbent. The staff were so kind, greeting us with big smiles and treating us like the only guests there. It was quiet, peaceful, and the pools were beautiful. Everything was tastefully done, making us feel hidden away in an exotic paradise. The breakfast was an artful display of delicious fruit with additional side options that were absolutely delicious. In particular, the servers Milton and Juan were the absolute BEST! So friendly, fast, personable, professional, and loved to practice English and help us with Spanish. I highly recommend staying here to avoid the crowded, noisy resorts and get the personal touch that makes all the difference!

Excellent service, helpful staff. I just wished they have sound proof rooms. Building is too close to the road and you can hear the guests staying at the pool at night. But over all it was a good experienced.

Property is very cool, and staff is very nice. The not good: You need ear plugs and an eye mask to sleep. There is no sound proofing and the plastic door lets in all of the road noise from the highway next to the hotel. You can literally hear every car all night long. Also there are no room darkening shades so you will be awake when the sun comes up. Other than that the hotel is great.

The food was amazing, best aguachilis I’ve had. The pool was stunning . Staff was so friendly and attentive , especially Antonio. He went out his way to make my birthday trip Amazing. Everyone is so attentive. This place felt like a perfect slice of heaven

The place is a gem that needs some polishing but totally worth the visit, if you are not looking for the party day and night vibe. The personal and warm attention from the staff is just like a high end hotel, Angel running the staff professionally, Mrs. Blanca warm and attentive, Antonio great personality and always willing to go above and beyond to make the guests comfortable and throwing a couple of twenty ones while getting to know them as Jose and Samuel get the drinks going made it a great experience. Yes you are away from la zona hotelera but if you want some peace and quiet and a little piece of paradise in the making, check this place out. A couple of recommendations for management, get the repairs that obviously you are completing done, change the material on the outdoor chairs and stools and it will make a difference for those guests that are more critical. For the guests, one thing you should consider at this time there is some road noise which if you take a pool side room is less noticeable due to some upgrades the hotel has already made, good for them. I will be back.

The hotel was a nice small boutique hotel. The restaurant staff and front desk were great. The food was amazing, very quiet and relaxing. No issues encountered at all with our stay we would definitely come back and recommend! 10/10

We stay here frequently. Love that it is adult only. Quiet location. Staff are very attentive. The breakfast that is included is very good. They were doing a lot of improvements this time so you couldn’t really venture out on their boardwalk. I’m sure it will be even better when completed. Not a party place with a big beach to hang out on if that is what you are looking for. But we enjoy staying here. They also love our dog which is a bonus!

I can't commend staff enough! I wish I could give them 10 stars! Security, front desk, housekeeping, the bartenders, EVERYONE was friendly and helpful. They have a whats app account they are very responsive to and communicate with you throughout your stay. The aesthetic of this resort gives very zen and primal. The road outside of the resort can be very noisy during the day due to traffic and construction around the property, but super calm and peaceful at night. There is a weird smell that comes from the mangroves but it could be because the resort is right on a beach (idk if it is Sea or Gulf) We walked down to the beach but did not get in - wasn't very accessible, very windy and didn't seem too safe. Your room card is what controls the electric in the room, so if you are out for the day (you have your room key with you), your AC is not running, no lights are on, etc. Super smart for them - but when you return there is also a weird mold or wet smell. Takes forever for AC to get cold and then it is not as cold as you would want or are used to. Not super sweaty in April but not super cool either. Our room had a deck that went right out to the main pool, so we could literally walk into the pool at any time, absolutely LOVED this feature. My ONLY complaint would be the kitchen - this is not all-inclusive resort, not many options, not expensive either, food takes a long time.

It was a very secluded hotel, very quiet. Property is like an Amazon jungle. There is no beach to swim at. But there are beaches close. Love the area that they had for the beach that had pool access close to it.

It’s just in a strange location. You will hear traffic and you can’t walk anywhere. It’s still under construction because it was damaged by the hurricane. So I would think they would offer more of a discount on rooms and food since there’s only one restaurant open now and you can’t even access half of the resort. Staff was friendly though. I would return when they rebuild.

Very noisy but not much to be done about it but wear earplugs. Great setting in the forest and mangroves.

Selected as a one nighter in Cancun as we typically stay in hotel zone the night of arrival & departure. Calling this the hotel zone is a stretch. Definitely NOT in walking distance to the hotel zone attraction nor close to the free bus. The gentleman at check in & bell hop were super nice & friendly. Room was clean and nice water view. AC did not work well. Super loud from road noise. The main floor pool was in the shade & really cold. Upstairs pool has a nice view of ocean and pretty small. Our shuttle could not pick us up until 1pm. Check out was noon. We asked for a 30 minute delayed check out but smug grey haired old lady seemed to take joy in denying us this exception on what seemed to be a slow thursday morning. I digress.. The folks that designed and installed artwork did a good job. The BREAKFAST WAS SPECTACULAR. i had this duck eggs Benedict maybe the best breakfast in my life. Dani was our server was a pro server kind & smiling. OVERALL 100 BUCKS WAS CHEAP but I will not return.

When we booked, we did not realize it is far from downtown and other places of interest in Cancun. Dining was limited to the hotel restaurant.

The property was good. Stayed 5 nights. It is a bit far from the other Hotels, but there are Ubers. They need to work on the noice maybe make the outside wall higher. The staff was Awesome!!!

Booked for a solo trip. Very nice place was super calm and quiet. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is undergoing construction in some sections but overall it is a great place to stay! Also close to everything near downtown Cancun.

It is a beautiful property. Quiet and relaxing. The only things that were not worth it for me is the free breakfast is no good, the hotel stinks from the sea but also noone was cleaning it and we were told “wifi was down for the day”, it turned out being down the entire day. Early checkin is never guaranteed which is understandable but the entire hotel seemed empty so i wasn’t sure at 12 why early check in couldn’t be accommodated. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Everything is charged even water or ice. Food good but pricy for other than continental breakfast which is only toast, pancake, or French toast

The rooms were clean and nice. Traffic noise heard in the rooms all night. Food average but overpriced, the continental breakfast was sort of funny half a slice of French toast fruit coffee. Really a half slice?

The breakfast was ok, but there was no bottled water readily available. The staff is quickly to send you to the restaurant to purchase wayer for around 8 USD for a small water. Its a scam.

Checking in was a wonderful experience, but the level of service declined after that. The restaurant menu is very limited and service, while friendly, was quite slow.

The property had nice scenery. Many photo ops. Staff was great but wifi was down entire stay. Couldnt watch any tv after a night out. Rooftop bar speaker was broken so no music there. Pool was very nice . For a Continental breakfast i expected more like atleast eggs but you get a plate of fruit and toast, one pancake or french toast. Only but you can pay for their other options and the food was great.
