Had a great time staying at the Vino Bello. My friend and I have been coming to the Vino Bello and Meritage for over six years. The only thing I was disappointed in was that Vino Bello guests have to use the Vino Bello pool only instead of how it used to be for years and years of being able to use the Meritage adult pool. Don’t get me wrong the pool at Vino Bello is nice but it is a family pool which has a kiddy pool amd water play area. Great for families with kids but not so great for adults wanting to just sit by the pool and read. Secondly, there were no umbrellas so within a few hours I got sunburnt, and yes I used sunscreen. Regardless of the new restrictions we had a great time.

The property was lovely. Our room had a few issues: an extremely loud, ticking air conditioner that for some of my guests couldn't sleep for others it was fine. The coffee maker did not come with a filter and when we requested assistance, it never resulted in fixing the issue. Parking was challenging we had not realized there would be a concert throughout the weekend. Otherwise, pool area was wonderful and the grounds themselves a treat. Would suggest when walking to the statue go with another person, I ended being observed by a homeless person hiding in the bush just next to the statue, which was unnerving.

Beautiful property. Lovely walking path up to Grape Crusher statue. We enjoyed dinner at the Village cafe Restaurant. We liked the pretty chapel. We took free shuttle into town. Unfortunately, the room was not as clean as it should be. The sink was dirty- unsanitary. The shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor tile- not safe- we had to put a towel to stop it. Our patio faced the parking lot. There was bird poop all over the patio, table, and outdoor cushions- not acceptable.

We have stayed at the Vino Bello before and it has always been good. Nothing exceptional, but nice. This time we felt like the red headed step child. Flight delays and exhaustion and a midnight check in - all we wanted was a shower and bed. In the shower was hair all over the wall and as water splashed from the drain, on our feet. It was disgusting. Asked for it to be cleaned the next day and it was. Pool not open until late. Air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine in the room. Couldn’t use it or you’d never sleep. No cushions on the patio chairs. Asked for some and was told they’d be put out - never got them…. Thank goodness the bed was comfortable!

Place was comfortable, but really could use updating. Hot tub didn’t work while we were on property and there was no offer to go to another section to use another hot tub. Shower didn’t work the greatest and kitchen has the bare minimum. Location is good for getting around to wineries and down town. There seemed to be plenty of parking as there was lot of people staying in the different sections. Rooms where clean, just a little outdated. You will have to do a sales presentation if you want any comp wine tastings, we did not.

This is a mixed-bag property. The general cleanliness around the property is good; nothing more than usual wear and tear was noticeable, and the reception area and service was excellent - we were greeted with a glass of champagne and a smile. However, it's a "death by a thousand paper cuts" situation that puts this at 3 stars. The quality of the concierge service was inconsistent and frustrating. The room smelled musty and old. The shower pressure was terrible. I observed one employee speeding through the parking lot late at night. Upon checkout, my credit card was mischarged for a very significant amount that took days to resolve. There was insufficient parking due to many onsite weddings over the weekend. The shuttle in to town ran late a few times. None of these are deal-breakers on their own, but for a place that bills itself as a luxury/five-star resort, it falls short. Also, be aware of the pressure when you check in to sign up for a timeshare sales pitch in return for comped wine experiences. On the upside, it's a fantastic location, the onsite restaurants and facilities are good quality, and the staff are very friendly and professional.

The HVAC unit was incredibly loud. So loud I had to double the volume to hear the TV when the HVAC fan came on. Also whenthe next door neighbors came or went from thier room It was alo unusually loud. Other wise good solid nice accomoations with good service.

The 1 bedroom is nice, its like a mini 1bd room apartment, full kitchen, big bathroom, big jetted tub...never get a studio, its not worth it in my opinion. Staff is very nice and helpful. So far ive stayed their twice and will soon return.

Nothing special about the property. It was quiet. Staff was cordial. We were notified that housekeeping wouldn't be coming to our room daily due to the nunber of days we stayed. We checked in Thursday and checked out Sunday. However, she did state if we needed anything to call the front desk. At check-in, we were told there would be a $100 a day resort fee and a hold for incidentals totaling $1300. The vacation was booked and paid in full, the only amount due at the property indicated on the receipt was $136 due at the property. She did mention that the charge would drop off after we checked out. We reserved a studio but it was too small. The tv was mounted on the wall in the kitchen area next to the microwave, there was a sofa that seemed too large for the space and a small dining table with 2 chairs. We spoke with the front desk and she was kind enough to move us to a 1-bedroom which gave us the space we needed. I also mentioned to her the $1300 charge, showed her the email I received and she assured me the charge would drop off. The grounds were average but some of the buildings needed pressure washing as well as the sidewalks and parking lot. Two 50 -minute, $180 massages ended up costing $490 after addiotnal fees and gratuity were added, which seems like the extra fees would have been included in the resort fee but the massage was good. I would probably choose another resort that offered more amenities to justify the costs & fees

Beautiful property connected to a fantastic resort. Bed comfort was below standard in relation to the rest of the property. We inherited a clogged shower drain that was problematic. It wasn't fixed until the following day. Otherwise Vino Bello was great.

It was nice but the rooms were a bit dated and had no full-size mirror or smart TV. Parking was a bit difficult and the prices they charge at the onsite store should be illegal! Otherwise, it was fine. Napa itself is a bit overrated and this is one of those trips we will say been there done that and there is no need to return.

It’s a very nice property, however, we did not realize when we booked that it is a “timeshare” style location. There was a hard press at check in to attend a 90 min presentation (for a “gift”) and when we declined, they called us on our last night to give another hard press to attend the seminar and receive our free “gift.” As I said, it’s a wonderful property but be prepared for the sales pitch.
It’s a very nice property, however, we did not realize when we booked that it is a “timeshare” style location. This was our first time to Napa. We had an amazing time. We had lunch at the Crush lounge. We also did bowling at the lounge. They turned on the Nuggets game for us. Room service forgot my coffee, but they brought a pot after we called them.

AVOID! There are lovely resorts and hotels in Napa; this is NOT one of them! Checking in was problematic: there was a long line at 4pm, and as you must go to the "Club Wyndham, check-in" (which was NOT signified on the reservation paperwork!) and listen to a sales pitch about purchasing a Wyndham time share, the entire process was dreadful......and much too slow. Although the room was booked EIGHT months in advance, it was by far the most undesirable: patio overlooking nearby cars, next to the main entrance, first floor with walls so thin the TV next door was clearly audible. The shampoo, gel, conditioner containers were EMPTY, and although attempt was made to call the front desk, we gave up after trying twice and holding for 10 minutes. MUCH to our dissatisfaction, there was NO HOUSEKEEPING our second day.....no refilling of the empty necessities, no fresh towels, no removing the garbage. Having to walk to the front desk, wait 15 minutes, (as again, no answer to a phone call,) to ask for what should be furnished, there were only towels delivered. As I read the other reviews, it is obvious the management of this hotel is distressingly absent, or just does not care. The insult is the "property charge" of $50, which obviously covers nothing. AVOID this hotel....the cost of staying here is NOT reflected in the service, the rooms, nor the management.

The property was lovely. Our room had a few issues: an extremely loud, ticking air conditioner that for some of my guests couldn't sleep for others it was fine. The coffee maker did not come with a filter and when we requested assistance, it never resulted in fixing the issue. Parking was challenging we had not realized there would be a concert throughout the weekend. Otherwise, pool area was wonderful and the grounds themselves a treat. Would suggest when walking to the statue go with another person, I ended being observed by a homeless person hiding in the bush just next to the statue, which was unnerving.

This was our first time to Napa. We had an amazing time. We had lunch at the Crush lounge. We also did bowling at the lounge. They turned on the Nuggets game for us. Room service forgot my coffee, but they brought a pot after we called them.
