It’s hard to leave a review. There was so much renovation everywhere I looked. Write down to the bus did elevator button...normally this is a great hotel. It’s hard to leave a review. There was so much renovation everywhere. I looked. Right down to the busted elevator button normally I love this property. Next time I will check to see. Booked this hotel because it offered a shuttle to the cruise port. I phoned the hotel and was told there was a cruise shuttle. When we checked in we were told that the hotel does not offer a shuttle to the cruise port snd to book Uber or Lyft?

The hotel was convenient and our event location in Long Beach. Staff was great, beds are comfy. The pool was heated and the jacuzzi was nice. The hotel was very busy, need a few more luggage carts. Overall great hotel and location.

The room was dim w/lights lacking in closet area. There was smudges on the bathroom door frame that I wiped clean with a Kleenex. The bathroom counters looked dusty, as if there were dried water marks. Considering it was a darker granite color/design, maybe it just needed to be cleaned w/ something else. There wasn't enough towels for my reservation of 3. one of the bath towels had visible dirt markings that didn't look like it was a stain but actual crust of mud/makeup? It was nice walking into the hotel but the "gold" elevators weren't shiny & bright. Visible scratches/smudges. The button trying to go down on my floor wasn't visible so nobody can tell if the button is working or activated. The pool area wasn't cleaned. Used it later in the evening with no other guests occupying it and there was pitchers of beer and cups around the Jacuzzi and towels all over lounging chairs and floor. It was like this both nights I stayed. The gym has nice equipment but there were no wipes in the tub for it. Overall, next time I'd stay elsewhere even if it isn't as convenient as this one, which is right off the freeway. It's location is in a convenient spot with outside amenities like shopping center that has Starbucks right across the street and McDonald's not too far. I can't vouch for the restaurant on site but it was pretty busy throughout the day compared to other places I've stayed. Overly priced for a Continental buffet breakfast IMO. Cookies were good, no nutfree option.

nothing unique in this hotel, staff are not very friendly, cleanliness ok but limited supplies, no room slippers..did not meet our expectaions as a Hilton hotel. Expedia assured a shuttle service from LAX, called up many times but when arrived at LAX, no more service available. very much disappointed!!

We stayed two nights in this hotel. My husband works in the area and I came up from San Diego to spend some time with him. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were lovely and well maintained. Everything was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

The evening after I checked in I went to tale a shower and noticed the shower had some hairs in it. I figured no biggie can just rinse then down the drain with water before I get in, so I did. Then as I was washing out my shampoo I noticed the shower wasn't training properly and stuff from the drain was actually coming up and I was then bathing in it. I frantically got out and contacted the front desk. They told me they could make an appointment with house keeping but it would take a few hours. I explained to them I was mid shower and hadn't even been able to finish and needed a working shower immediately because I had somewhere I needed to be. She said ahe would send someone right then - which never happened. I had to contact 3 different staff members to finally get someone to fix the issue so I could resume my shower and getting ready. The staff was less then helpful and no one seemed concerned regarding the situation and it was over all very frustrating. They offered me breakfast the next day, but I was literally bathing in what I can only imagine was pubic hair. It was honestly quite traumatizing and I will never be staying here. Also the bathroom didn't get cleaned before we got there and there was red marks on the ac unit that literally looked like blood. If all of long beach wasn't booked I would have checked out early. I truly think they need a health inspection because it was diabolical.

My husband, mom, and I all arrived Wed night around 10pm. Exhausted from the days events. We went to straight to our room, showered and fell asleep. We trusted the integrity of the room. Upon waking up Thurs morning, we discovered all of the bedding on BOTH beds were in bad condition and soiled. One pillow case had blood stains. Ariana, director of housekeeping. offered breakfast vouchers and ensured the linen would be changed. We declined her offer to switch rooms because this wasn't a room issue. It was a housekeeping issue. A different room still has the same housekeeping We get back to our room the 2nd night. We see the linens were changed and the room was serviced. Then my husband discovers our "fresh" towels are stained with a brown substances. This is now the SECOND time in less than 24 hours that we have encountered a major fail by housekeeping. At checkout I spoke to Daniel the Front Desk Manager. He was unwilling to accommodate the refund of a night for our troubles and inconveniences, stating "If it were bed bugs, sure I can refund a night. Dirty sheets and a towel, I can't justify that to my boss" Daniel was clearly more concerned with how this would affect him rather than the customer. He tried placing blame on us for staying in the room and not switching. Repeating, dirty sheets and a dirty towels on 2 separate nights isn't justification enough for him to refund a night. I will never stay at Carson Double Tree again.

Staff here was very friendly and did a wonderful job checking in and out quickly. The hotel is in a convenient area close to the freeway and shopping centers. The only reason I'm giving this hotel a low rating is I found a roach crawling on the wall on my last day here. It made me so uncomfortable I didn't even want to sleep there anymore. I know there's not much the staff can do about this but it's extremely nasty and I won't be staying here again due to this issue.

while i enjoyed my stay. the staff was very courteous and helpful. I did get my cookie and check in. the down side for me was the bathroom floor and tub. there was hair on the floor and tub. The carpet was wet near the air conditioner. They did come and check out AC unit and dried the carpet. Since I travel with gloves and cleaning supplies I cleaned the bathroom. Don't know if I would stay there again for the price the rooms could be a little more updated.

This Doubletree was really nice to stay in for a night while I had to present to some schools in Carson and Long Beach. The rooms are exactly what you would expect and the showers are nice! They don't let you control the HVAC anymore though, so it was a little cold but the blankets were more than enough.

It was great! 3 mile proximity to Galaxy Stadium was convenient for walking or for a $15 Uber ride including tip. Our room was quiet with good room-darkening blinds and a quiet HVAC system. It was very clean and I was surprised to have daily maid service. Bar had good happy hour prices and great service. Front desk was very welcoming and helpful. I will stay here again

The rooms are run down. Beds are full size not queens as advertised. The bathroom door fell off the hinge, but was promptly fixed. The shower floor has old rust that should be properly scrubbed. The sink had a leaking faucet. They had no bathroom trash can so if woman are on their monthly we have to walk it to the room trash which is not sanitary. Not worth the stay.

Horrific freeway noise in our room, even though we were requested a quiet room. Bathroom door hinge squeak so loud that the room next-door could probably hear it. About midnight the room got so hot. I turned on the air conditioner just to find out it doesn’t work at all. Very unpleasant experience.

Walked in to our room and had bathroom issues to begin with. Toilet not flushing, requested a new room as I didn't want to run into any more issues. Was told they were out (weird as I had just booked and was told there were 8 available). Was there for the night didn't feel like I needed to argue, I just asked what would they recommend in this case. Someone came by while I was out, upon my return. I asked the man at the reception area if they he knew if the toilet was fixed and he said "how would I know" super rude, not helpful didn't care. Next day, at check-out there was no record of me being in my room as I was listed in a different room. Make it make sense, never going back. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

The staff were so amazing, my flight was delayed, cancelled and I was transferred to a much later flight and they were so kind to help us out with a late check-in, water and we felt safe here. Everyone was so kind, and it was a busy festival weekend.

I called hours after 3pm to let staff know that I will be checking in late because I was attending a viewing. If I can remember correctly, I believe the name of the staff member is Christine. She ensured me that it was ok to check late and that she would make a note of it. When I arrived, the gentleman at the counter acknowledged and assisted me as soon as he was able to. He offered the Welcome Cookies and was able to give me a room on the second floor as I requested something close to the first floor. To my surprise, I was given a room that was directly steps away from the elevators. Definitely, convenient for my elderly parents. I also went down to request for additional towels in the morning and a different gentleman at the counter kindly went to get me towels. Overall, the staff that I've encountered during this stay were amazing and kind!!! Aside for the fact that its the closest hotel to family, the staff is the reason why I have made another reservation. So, thank you so much for kind hospitality. My parents and I appreciate you.

The property itself is fine and is perfect for a weekend getaway, but their check in rules are quite stingy and not always reliable. I booked up my flight back in March of this year and knew that I was going to arrive at the hotel at midnight of June 30th. I called beforehand to ask what was the the deadline to check in and the man on the phone said 3AM which gave me enough time to get from the airport and to the hotel and check in no problem. But when I got to the property, staff begin to tell me that I should have bookes the day before as well (keep in mind, I wasn't even in the country the day before) so I could check in no problem and made me wait 2 extra hours after an already tiring flight. Aside from that, it was a decent enough stay

One of the worst serviced hotels I’ve been to. My family and I decided to book for our vacation stay and will not book with Hilton again. We arrived at 3:30pm (after check in) & still had to wait over 40 mins to check in. There was a long line of people waiting to check in and even though there were 3 front office assistants working only one was checking in. Once it was finally our turn to check in we still had to wait another 40 mins in the lobby with our luggage because they had no clean rooms available. After finally getting to our rooms, they did not look the cleanest. My brothers room had a cockroach in their bathroom. He was also overcharged water due to there being a glitch in their system, he advised front desk and they said it was only a glitch and that it wouldn’t overcharge him but it did. The deposit for the hotel was 150 and I only received 130 back. It blows my mind because we were hardly there, we did not make a mess and certainly did not take anything. If you do decide to book with them make sure to take pictures of your hotel rooms when first arriving and after leaving because they will try and screw you over.

We wanted a hotel near the Dignity Health Sports Complex and this Hilton hotel was a wonderful choice. There is a Starbucks nearby, the restaurant inside the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
