Little Rock Marriott

Has the same parking woes as a downtown hotel in a large city, valet or no way. Other than that, everything was wonderful even with all of activity surrounding the marathon.

Understaffed, I Waited 35 minutes for valet to bring me my car when I was ready to leave otherwise staff were friendly.

Great location, clean & comfortable. Parking is the only issue. $30 a night for valet or about a block or so walk to self park.

PARKING WAS A PROBLEM. The site has no parking. You need to pay $ 30 a day to have somebody take your car to the parking space and request to bring it back when you are going to use it.

The property was beautiful, just wish there was a pool.

The hotel itself was beautiful and very up to date. The room was great, and we really enjoyed the restaurant, drinks, and gift shop. The location was perfect for us since we were in town for a cheer competition and wanted to stay close to everything in downtown Little Rock. The only downside was the valet service. We waited about 40 minutes in a long line to valet our car. My mom is elderly and cannot walk long distances, which made the wait especially difficult. Because of the delay, I ended up planning to park on my own and walk back to the hotel. Overall, the hotel was wonderful, but the valet wait time definitely needs improvement, especially for guests with mobility concerns.

Valet is over crowded but the workers did great and elevators take a long time.

Construction outside resulted in foot traffic having to cross the street to access site. On a positive note we did not have any construction noise disturbance and our room was on construction side.

Always love Marriotts. Have stayed at this hotel in the past. Property was not as nice as I remembered. Room had a strong smell of mildew, probably due to the excessive condensation around the windows. Staff was friendly at check in. Quality of room did not make hotel worth the price per night.

Requested River view did not get River view got half city half River view. I was put on the 16th floor in a dirty room. I requested anotherand was moved to the fifth floor. Room was a little better sheets were not changed although the bed was made up properly had half city half Riverview could not make tea or coffee due to pot was dirty with residue Room was a little better could’ve used some dusting. Ordered room service. The food was not warm not hot. It was Luke warm salad look as though it’s been in the refrigerator a day or two overall I give it a 3 1/2.

Comfortable and clean

Hotel needs a refresh. Sink did not drain. Room wasn’t clean. Lights did not work. Very run down.

No microwaves in room Tons of condensation on windows in rooms so much there was puddles of water in the window seals.

This is a beautiful hotel located right downtown with gorgeous views.

The property was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel could use some updates, it looked a little old in our room. The thermostat was set to 74 but our room was 63. The only way to warm it up was to turn it off. Check in and check out was easy and staff was friendly.

The room has poor sound insulation, no disposable slippers, and the carpet is old.

Overall, a wonderful stay over Christmas. First the Cons: There aren’t a lot, but the one that bothered the most was room service. The order took an hour and when received, all the food was cold. The food was also not prepared to menu description. I found this overflowed into the restaurant Heritage as well. Sweet and sour sauce does not equal balsamic vinegar and onions. Next, the WiFi would go out every 10 minutes or so. We planned on watching Christmas movies, but that was impossible. Lastly, an emergency alarm went off for at least 20 minutes. The elevator was shut down for the emergency, so be ready to climb stairs. We were on the 18th floor. Pros: As soon as you walk into the hotel, everyone is courteous, helpful, and accommodating. The lobby smells great and is VERY clean and attractive. There are USB plugs in the lobby chairs and large screen TVs to watch while waiting or chilling with your Starbucks coffee (which is onsite and great). The desk clerk was extremely nice checking us in. We were given vouchers for free breakfast/coffee at the Starbucks and a free packed lunch since the Hotel would be closed up for Christmas. The forethought was so professional and tasty. The club room was always stocked with snacks and drinks. The breakfast was hot and again the wait staff were wonderful. As stated, the WiFi did not work, but the hotel was quick in sending the Tech man to help, twice. The room itself had up to date decor. Everything was CLEAN and well maintained.

probably the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a non-super luxury hotel. view was excellent…it’s a shame this hotel was built with 8’ high ceilings, much of the luxurious feel is compromised by the low ceilings. will definitely be back.

Very quiet and comfortable room.

Everything was great except for the room temperature. The motion sensor thermostats guaranteed that we would return to our room being 85 degrees in the middle of summer. While the room cooled down while we were up and moving around (took about 2 hours), the bed was still lava hot when it was time to go to sleep since it had baked in the heat all day long. Additionally, the A/C would turn off in the middle of the night due to the motion sensing. After spending ~$200 per night, we expect to be able to sleep comfortably by setting a comfortable temperature in our room. Please cut costs elsewhere. There is no point in renting a hotel room that you cannot sleep in. We are very tired from sleeping badly all weekend and will not be returning.

The facility is a huge hotel. Lots of nice amenities. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was helpful.

Friendly staff, smooth check-in process. Gorgeous room with view of the AR River. Comfy bed…shower had great water pressure. Never had to wait long for the elevator! Wonderful stay…will definitely do it again.

They over charged me. When I called about it I got hung up on. I called back to get the name of the person who hung up on me and she hung up on me again. They took a credit card at check in and put a $50 hold on it for incidentals. Upon check out I was charged $30 for valet parking and $65 room service for 2 breakfast. Which came to $97 and some change. Then I was charged $47 and some change for what I don't know and they couldn't/wouldn't tell me. They couldn't provide a receipt for the $47 charge and had no record of it. But still wouldn't refund it. They stole $47 from the card they took during check in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I've had to file a dispute with my bank which caused my card to have to be replaced. Now I have to take time to call and inform all the businesses that I had auto pay setup on that card because of the fraudulent transaction they did. Again, I will never stay at another Marriott and I recommend you don't either.

Booked a room through Expedia and the Marriott charged me for the room again. Called to help resolve the issue and they said to call Expedia. So, I called Expedia and they are looking into the issue and they stated that the property hung up on them over the issue.

Everything from the Valet to the front desk and Dennis the shuttle driver to the young ladies working the bar was Excellent! We appreciate the Marriott and Dennis getting us back and forth to the HALL that we were there for a concert and the Valet Team was spot on. The service at the Restaurant and Bar were excellent. A very enjoyable stay! We will back

It was the most frustrating experience and we will not stay at Marriott or use Hotels.com again. We walked across the street and stayed at The Capital which was welcoming and lovely. The front desk staff at The Little Rock Marriott was unhelpful. I had mistakenly booked the following night via hotels.com and there was very little empathy for our holiday travel stress. I was willing to pay for my mistake but not at an unwelcoming inhospitable hotel.

Great with the exception of valet parking. Clearly they are short employees. Waiting 30 minutes , after calling ahead, is far too long.

Desk service was just unfriendly. I got charged TWICE. Once by Expedia and again at the hotel. Just noticed a few days ago and called the hotel. Had to leave a voice mail and three days later no return call. At checkout, had to wait an hour for valet to get my car, even though I texted them 20 minutes prior to checking out as instructed. I was beginning to wonder if it had been stolen. When it did show up, the smell of marijuana in my car was sickening. There was mold all over the baseboards in the bathroom.

Every thing was great except house keeping that knocked and barged in before we could reply. Awkward to say the least.

Very nice place to stay for the big dam bridge 100 bike race. The valets took great care of getting our cars in and out, but I wanted to especially mention Michelle who checked us in Friday night and then checked us out Saturday morning. She went above and beyond with friendliness and a wonderful attitude!

Always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Nice big, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and easy check in. Pretty view of the River.

The location in downtown is very convenient and there is a wide variety of food and drink nearby to choose from.

hotel lobby is impressive. room was clean and comfortable. however, I would not stay there again. I booked and paid in advance for a king bed but they assigned me a room with two double beds. I pointed this out to them and they did offer to move me but I declined because I already settled into the room. they told me the rooms are the same price. not true-king room was more. also disappointed that the lobby did not offer complementary coffee in the morning. they told me to go to starbucks. area around the hotel was also disappointing. lots of closed businesses. panhandler approached me for money just a couple blocks from the hotel. did not look safe to go out at night.

We stayed here on a road trip from Texas to North Carolina. We loved the waterfront location! The waterfront was a great place to take a walk after a long day in the car. The restaurant was open late served great food, and provided fabulous service.

It was fine and exactly what I expected being in Little Rock, but honestly the amenities are lacking. No pool or free coffee in the morning wasn’t a big deal when I was booking but when I realized that I’d like to cool off after a morning walk or not have to pay up charged prices for sub par Starbucks coffee really put a dampener on my morning yesterday. I think those two missing amenities really made me wish I’d taken a random holiday inn.

I have stayed at this hotel since it was the Peabody, the first time was around 2005. They have upgraded it considerably. The beds are very comfortable the rooms are very clean, maid service is excellent. My only gripe is that there was a bit of noise where we were this time but it didn't seem to bother the kids and I never figured out what it was. The Heritage Grill was excellent where we had breakfast and dinner. The valet is top notch. The staff is friendly and very professional. Staying here has become a yearly trip for us to enjoy the Anime Festival. I could not think of staying at a different hotel. The Mariott is the best in my opinion.

Great location, wish there was access out back of hotel to Riverwalk. Check in was great, room clean and no complaints. Restaurant staff ( bartender lacking). Decided to sit at bar for meal as we wanted to see games. While she was taking order kept looking of at another customer then at a co worker drinking at bar and making comments to her. Then a homeless women came in and the way she handled situation was terrible and looks at us and was like you know hotel issues. Well bring those to the side and do not put in customers face.
