Had to take luggage up two flights of stairs.

I got a free upgrade to the Extended Stays... It was awesome!!! Full kitchen, Jacuzzi bath, heated floors!!! Can't think of a single complaint!!!

Leicha was a wonderful hostess. Her cooking talents and friendly, energetic demeanor was just what a traveler needed. She was a wonderful balance of giving guests privacy and being ready to accom-modate even the tiniest request! Accomodations were cozy and the warm water was aplenty! We were guests in February so the engine-warming plug-in for our car in the large parking lot was a welcomed amenity too. Such a nice place in the center of snowy Alaska. Very recommended!

Checking in had to go up 2 flights of stairs no elevators on either property. Did have handicap room on ground floor but in another location room had spacious handicap bathroom but entrance into building had a lip on it and entrance into room had for wheelchair room not spacious hard for wheelchair to get around. Staff was outstanding.

Rooms were cozy. We really loved the furniture at the inn. Ability to use the kitchen was a big plus. Overall great place to stay.

Not a good choice for anyone that can't do stairs. There is an outside entrance through an indoor hot house garden with a long wooden stair way. Two bedrooms are available on the main floor but the breakfast area requires navigating upstairs and into an attached building.

Lots of stairs you had to bring luggage up that is difficult if you are older or have health conditions

Only thing missing is air- conditioning, did have apirtable fan.

It was the best value by far of anywhere we stayed in Alaska. The laundry was pretty grody, but everything else was adequate.

This is not actually an inn. This property is similar to an airbnb property as there are 9 rooms with different guests. The owner and her husband were very friendly. The room was clean and nice. The free breakfast is great. The only problem was the stairs were difficult to get up.

The room and bathroom were clean but dated but the common area was very cluttered. I’m not snooty so it was okay for the price but could easily be decluttered.

Severely out dated and dirty with layers of dust on stored furniture. Breakfast was good but area dirty and not enough food. I don’t usually rate places however I made an exception as this was so bad.

Nice clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Exterior looks a little outdated. Staff was very friendly. Nice hot shower.

The lady that helped us with the check in was the only person who was very friendly and always with a smile among the others. The room they provided us was ok, we tried to use the jacuzzi but there were a few body hairs that weren’t ours, so we discard the idea. But the rest was clean. The common areas are not well maintained and looks a bit messy. Breakfast was good and enough to keep you feed until evening. Really good quiches. As for the location, it is close to the airport but far from downtown and other places. I suggest renting a car since Uber takes more than 10 minutes to arrive all the time. (Fastest 10 - longest 20 min wait). And it is like that all around Fairbanks. Despite all that, the sounding areas are full of nature and is a very quiet and pleasant place.

Clean, safe , decent place comfortable beds.

This Inn and Suite is just ok to crash for the night. The lady was nice . But the place needs a total cleaning. The rooms are nice and clean.

Areas like bathroom unclean, sink was clogged. TV no worked. Even we leave note to clean-fix room, didn’t do it. And when I asked why they didn’t fix my room? Lady was 😠

Bed and breakfast model on a larger scale. Good breakfast offerings. Multiple properties with multiple rooms being serviced by same kitchen/eating space and staff. Standard sleeping rooms relatively small: difficult to find space to have 2 suitcases open at same time. Bath room facilities dated: shower over jacuzzi tub (would not felt safe using the tub as a "tub"). Single sink facet loose handle made setting temp challenging. All said, it was a good value if looking at a budget property.

The breakfast was very nice and it was a charming place. The beds were a little too soft and no blackout curtains. However, most of the places we stayed said they had blackout curtains and didn't. Or they have no concept of what a blackout curtain is. This place was nice and close to the airport and downtown Fairbanks.

bed and breakfast, got a room on the first floor, was able to hear all conversations in the lobby, extremely annoying. avoid this property if possible.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. It was a very basic room for the night. Walls are pretty thin so other guests conversations are easily heard but they went to sleep early. Breakfast squash bake was really tasty. Everything in our room worked as described.

Unique property…not typical. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, parking manageable, and generally convenient location. Downsides were bed was waaaayyyy too soft, and creaked with slightest movement. From the moment I stepped into the room it felt like I had been teleported back to the 1970’s. Layout in unconventional…more like a private home with individual bedrooms.

Room was beautiful. Jetted bathtub was one of the reasons we stayed there and it was worth it.

Several days the food was gone when we went to eat breakfast. We stayed 2 weeks and the sheets were never changed, the floor was never swept and the bathroom wasn't cleaned. I would have liked those things done at least once during our stay. The proprietor was very nice. The TV service was unreliable. Sometimes we were able to watch and other times the service froze because of poor internet signal.

Very comfortable. Could have used a better pillow (very thin). Could also use block out drapes to aid in sleep in summer light hours at night.

Checkin was easy, and the suite I had was very spacious with comfortable furniture and nice amenities. Very friendly staff!

The staff was very polite and helpful. The owner provided us with maps of where to eat and where to drive to see the northern lights!

I booked it seeing the 7.2 rating on Expedia. Bad start, had to snake my way to even find hte office thorugh run down entrance. Finally, with some help, I found the office and was told that I am booked in a satellite facioity, few blocks away. That building was under construction with no working elevators, had to haul the luggage to the third floor. Construction debris and dirt everywhere. Doubt if they had certificate of occupancy. Stay far away form this property, spend your money somewhere else, don't let pictures fool you. Now I discover, the property had terrible rating on other booking sites

We had a really memorable short stay at this place. Paul at the front desk was really kind & helpful. The woman at the breakfast was very kind and polite. Really close to the airport. Recommended for a solo traveler! Buffet breakfast was lovely. Adorable interior. Very satisfied.

Such a cute place!! Very home-like but not Airbnb which I don't do. Staff very accommodating and nice. I go to Fairbanks once a year and plan on staying here again :)

I’ve stayed once before but don’t risk your life staying with these property owners! They’re try to kill you then not refund your money! I messaged and called them and was locked out of property. In Alaska this is an extreme safety issue! Would only stay on warm nights in case they lock you out!

The staff was awake and able to take care of us at 1:30 in the morning. Very appreciate it!

Old man is rude

Only good thing was the breakfast. Lady was nice. Man seemed to hate his job. Laundry room was awful. Windows had open spaces that let in cold night air. All the rooms were like part of an old cluttered house. Not billed as a BnB.

About 10 min for the airport. Check in was easy. Staff friendly. Other rooms are dated. Our bedroom bed was very comfortable, but the extra bed in the living area was uncomfortable. The kitchen was nice, but we were only there for a night, so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was good.

Nice bed and breakfast in a residential neighborhood. Short walk to the river . Food was excellent. It was a bit of a job getting our luggage up and down the stairs.

Too far from Downtown and not worth the money to stay there. They could not even fix the sink after being told of problem straight away.

Spacious unit at quirky property convenient to Fairbanks attractions. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast.

This is very comfortable lodging with a friendly Fairbanks vibe. There is a shared kitchen, lots of books, and interesting Alaska curios and art. Located in a quiet residential area and off the beaten path, you can still walk to a great coffee shop, to the UAF campus and museum, and are a short taxi ride from a major Fairbanks grocery store. The owners have invested in solar have a great atrium. I would love to see all they have growing in the summer.

Good location near airport.

Stayed one night, it was great. No complaints. The location is a 20 minute walk from any stores, and the nearest McDonald’s is closed so a hibachi place is the only food I saw that you can walk to.

Breakfast started at 7:30 am ... if you got there at 8 ... no coffee and most food was gone ... both mornings ... no one there to monitor or replenish. The same dirty cup on the 1st table as you entered ... both mornings

7 Gables was such an unique place to stay. We loved it. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. We were happy to hear christain music while eating breakfast. The owner was very nice and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

The hotel was good-quiet and comfortable, which made for a restful night. The breakfast was a nice touch and added to the overall pleasant experience. While it wasn't exceptional, it provided everything I needed for a solid stay. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a simple place to relax.

If I had known breakfast was not until 7:30, I would have chosen another provider. MUCH too late.

Although an older building, this was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was quiet, the bed was comfy and we had a fireplace for extra warmth. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious. The host was very accomodating, she even loaned us an extension cord to plug in the car.

Overall, our stay was cordial and reasonable, especially given that we did not arrive until almost 2am. The breakfast was very average and by the time we got there about 830am (breakfast until 9am) there was no more waffle batter or coffee. There wasn't anyone minding the supply of either of these in the dining region. The site is close to the airport so it was good, given that we were flying in late.

The property is clean, safe and staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was advertised as a very nice home cooked meal. It was ok, but minimal with one home cooked egg dish. Suggestion: two waffle irons, a pot of cooked oatmeal, plain yogurt, more fresh fruits, nuts or dried fruit, salsa, potatos or rice and a meat selection. Very helpful staff was present during the mealtime.

It was incredible. The house is beautiful, my room was gorgeous, I loved the bath tub with the jets, breakfast was amazing, best spread I’ve ever seen, and the family was really nice. They even printed something for me. If I’m ever in Fairbanks again, I will definitely stay there. 😊❤️
