It was good paid for room with roll in shower and was given one with tub and bench, Fairbanks is in the minus degrees in winter so going out is not unless you have to, no restaurant on site, no breakfast, lots of local hotels offer breakfast, they do have kitchens for people staying longer

Great location, they have a big lot begging the hotel from where we could see northern lights. Walmart, brown jug etc near by. With airport shuttle our stay for 4 nights was just as we expected

It was a pretty nice and quiet property during our stay in Fairbanks. I just wish the bed had been a king instead of a queen. I didn’t see a king while booking. Staff was nice. There is no breakfast on the property but they don have a 24hr snack shop. Free laundry room next to the gym. I would recommend

Website/reservation didn't make it clear that you had to reserve the aiport shuttle. When I asked the front desk for the shuttle the gal picked up the phone and said "we have an unscheduled pickup" when the shuttle was unavailable she called a Taxi saying the same thing in a condescending tone. Ma'am we require a 2 hour notice for the aiport taxi. She then left the front desk and never came back. Hotel accommodations didn't make uo for the lack of hospitality. I'll stay elsewhere next time.

This hotel needs a refresh. It is a bit run down. On the other hand it has a full kitchen in the room which is a plus especially in Fairbanks which is a city with limited dining options. Staff is polite but not focused on the needs of tourists. Could not help with suggesting activities, etc.

The front desk staff was more than helpful. I hate that I cannot recall her name, I want to say Nina, was truly the sweetest. She called to check in on me when my arrival was delayed and was so very helpful. There was a young gentlemen that was also kind and helpful, even delivered my luggage right to my door when it was delivered from airport.

One of the few times we have not had some issue with a hotel stay. While this hotel is a very typical Candlewoods, the staff were great, the hotel very quiet and vey convenient plenty of food, shopping and sites to see. We would certainty stay here again

Hotel was very nice. Big room with kitchen. Nice free do it yourself laundry service. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, shuttle drivers were very nice. Free shuttle to train station and airport, even for me to pickup the car rental and return. Only complaint was that they put us in first floor next to the entrance. Between getting used to the daylight and the sometimes loud noises out front, my wife had trouble sleeping.
