The Knoll Hotel Napa Valley, Tapestry by Hilton

Stayed for one night to attend a concert. Booked this hotel in part because of the “pool” that I saw in the photos, however be aware that the photo is of a corner of a hot tub and there is NO POOL at the location despite the very misleading photo. Our room was clean but the sofa in the sitting area was hard as a rock. The condition of the outdoor furniture (white sofas badly stained orange) was not inviting and lounge chair cushions were removed. A little attention to these details would bring up the rating, but for one night it was doable.

Everything was fantastic except for the surprise parking charge. $18/day for an empty lot seems to be a bit much.

The gym is awesome, it is located well for getting around Napa -- very close to town and easy to jump on the main roads to get to yountville and beyond. Staff was super nice.

The A/C is loud making it difficult to sleep. The staff are courteous. Parking used to be free ... now $18 ... seriously? What is costing more to park? Should be included in the room rate. Or a least free for repeat customers.

Room was clean, hot tub was hot and free charging.

Now you are charging for parking? Nice little money maker for you. This isn't a big city location--this is Napa--no need to charge $15/night for parking. Also, how long has that "hot tub is broken" sign been up?

The property was nice with a quaint restaurant and bar. Hot tub, no pool, and a nice area to lounge in if you did not want to stay in your room. All said a pleasant experience...

The hotel was recently renovated but not well thought out. It’s clear they ordered the wrong configuration for the couches, the nightstand light is crazy bright, and the floor and other features feel like corners were cut. Hotel is a very average limited service hotel. For the price, I expected more. The area around is convenient but not a local experience. Downtown is a 20 minute walk so pretty convenient, although it is on a busy street near car dealerships. Hotel bar is open for limited hours.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great lobby and bar area, decent sized gym, close to shops and restaurants

Stay was nice and room was comfortable only defect we had ants in the restroom and on the desks. We got rid of them but they were back the next morning. We were in the 4th floor so seeing so many ants in that area was odd. Otherwise it was good

The property was nice. The only issue was the bathroom had ants all out and some in the bedroom and spiderwebs in the bedroom, but it was clean. It was in a good location in the front desk was really nice.

This hotel was so nice. Very clean rooms and modern furniture around the property.

Check in/out was good. Staff at lobby good, professional. Great mattress/pillows, everything else ok/good. However a few details need addressing for this place to be on par with other 9+ hotels in Napa. (1) no microwave in room shouldn’t force one to wait 5 mins at the breakfast room for two cups of hot water. (2) if you are going to have no carpet on the floors make sure they are clean. You should see dirt coming off your feet in the shower! (3) your HVAC is not annoying but a bit loud overall. (4) Paid tea, coffee and $18 for parking outside of downtown Napa is a bit petty.

The rooms and common areas are clean and attractive. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious enough and well laid out. It's very quiet for a good night's sleep, and just a very short drive to heart of town.

I was so happy to find this new modern hotel with a great rate especially for Napa Valley. They accepted pets which was convenient. The staff were all very friendly. Rooms were beautifully designed and perfectly clean.

Poor Experience in Room 335 – Ant Infestation and No Response from Management I stayed at The Knoll Hotel Napa Valley from July 1 to July 4, 2025, in Room 335. While the hotel initially appeared pleasant, my experience was unfortunately marred by a serious cleanliness and service issue. On the evening of July 3rd, I discovered a large number of ants crawling around the room, including on the table and bathroom. It was clear this was not an isolated incident—this was a significant infestation, which made the room feel unsanitary and uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay. I immediately emailed the General Manager with details of the issue, including the room number and dates of my stay, and politely asked for the matter to be addressed. However, I received no response at all—no apology, no explanation, not even an acknowledgment of my message. I find this level of customer service unacceptable. When guests encounter problems, especially related to hygiene, they deserve a prompt and respectful response. The lack of accountability and follow-up made it clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority here. For a hotel positioned in the heart of Napa Valley, I expected much better—both in terms of room cleanliness and basic hospitality. I won’t be returning, and I would caution others to think twice before booking here unless the management makes serious improvements.

Staff was friendly. Sheets were dirty and stained when we got there. Next day they were replaced. No rain head shower in the room as advertised. No inconvenience discount offered. Won’t book here again. Too many other available hotels at better prices.

The Knoll is a gorgeous property both inside and out. The fireplace at the entrance is so nice and the downstairs bar is chic as well. The staff was so nice and very helpful. It was also very convenient to have a mini store right by the front desk for grab and go items. The room was great. Very clean with wonderful cleaning services. It also said my name on the tv when we got in! Superior touch. Highly recommend anyone visiting Napa to stay here

I did not have enough storage space for like drawers to unpack suit fot an extended stay, only a few hangers to hangup clothes. No coffee to offered guest other instant. DRAWERS ARE A MOST!! Other than that nice hotel and would stay again

The hotel was very deceiving as It’s right next to a trailer park and on a very very very busy freeway. The upstairs neighbors were so nosy walking back and forth all night and morning. You could hear every single loud stomp they took. The road noise was unbearable. For $250 per night plus a $30 “resort” fee and $20 for parking, I was expecting something with at least a peaceful night sleep. Would never stay here again. I have no idea how they have a 9 star rating.

The Knoll was a nice place. Our room was average size with a microwave and mini-fridge. With the exception of a wait at check in because the front desk person was off doing something, the staff was friendly and helpful and kept our towels changed and room made. Our only issue was room location on the street and constant traffic noise including at night. If you can avoid that, the Knoll is a nice place to stay about two miles from Main Street Napa.

Love this hotel! My only “complaint” was it the room was quite cold - a bit uncomfortable to sleep in actually, I couldn’t warm up or get the room to warm up no matter how I tinkered with the thermostat. I’m sure that’ll be fixed next time. Again I love this hotel. It’s a perfect location and I know I can always count on the friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent service.

The tv in our room was broken. They did resolve the issue the next day BUT before that happened the tv nearly fell on my partner and was dangling by 1 screw on the wall mount.

It took over 20 mins to try to check in on Friday, Dec. 31 around 6:30 pm and the front desk was left alone multiple times throughout our stay when we had questions or had a request. The front desk staff was very nice when they were there. Notice only one towel hanger in the bathroom. The walls are very thin and you can hear the other guest including the load upstairs guest. The TV channels are very limited, couldn’t watch the local team play.

Great staff, our room had an issue. We were given upgraded room with complimentary wine and cookies gift wrap. They really care about your experience.

Every staff member was very friendly and helpful.

I was on the 3rd floor with a crying baby in the next room. At 11pm, I asked to be moved and the ladies at the front desk were lovely. I was moved to a different floor, front of the hotel, no problem. Very much appreciated this. As I checked out in the morning, the gentleman at the front desk was already aware of the change and asked if the rest of my stay had been comfortable. I was also appreciative of the communication between shifts. Will return!

Friendly staff, amazing bartender and drinks, and tasty bar food

We recently stayed one night at the Knoll Hotel and found the experience lacking. The hotel seemed understaffed, resulting in a slow and sluggish check-in process. Additionally, the breakfast area was unimpressive and confusing, particularly regarding the use of meal vouchers. Many guests around us during breakfast were just as confused about the meal vouchers—some were told their breakfast wasn’t included in their stay, others were informed that the waitress had their vouchers, and some were referred to the front desk for help. We booked a room with two queen beds for three people but were disappointed to find only two towels provided. I am very surprised the hotel has such a high rating. Sadly, we were extremely unimpressed. These small details contribute to the overall experience, and unfortunately, the hotel missed the mark.

The staffing level seemed low. The front desk was unattended a few times and the food service was extremely slow, especially at breakfast. I had to wait more than 30 minutes between placing my order for two breakfast entrees and the food to arrive. The staff seemed stressed. We didn't have bedding for the sofa bed when we arrived nor was the sofabed already made. For the price, I would have expected a higher level of service, especially given that the location is on a commercial strip. We did appreciate the games on the back patio and the exercise room looked clean and nice. The ground floor rest room was also clean and nice and the bartender was very personable. The location is very convenient to downtown Napa-walkable.

The staff at the counter was not friendly at all. The were acting like you work for them or they are making a favor to you for being there. That first night at 4 am there was a false fire alarm and the noise of that thing traumatized our 7 year old son. We didn’t get a not even a note explaining what happened not a discount not even a chocolate. You are paying 250$ per night and that staff treats you like you were in a Motel. That’s not the Hilton way and it’s a shame the people who works there don’t realize the damage they are doing to the brand. All the guests needed at least an email explaining what happened because you are there to relax and enjoy but suddenly you are in the middle of your sleep and then running at 4 am with no explanation at all and no staff telling you what was that about. Not planing to go there ever.

Clean hotel, great location

Nice, new , clean hotel with large rooms and great bathrooms. Large step in showers. Nice patio with fireplace, pretty. Hotel as serviceable but overlooked a RV storage facility. Not walkable to town in the evenings., however very well kept and reasonable

This location was close to food and shopping options. And a short drive to downtown Napa.

It was a great property with the convenience of getting to all parts of Napa. The location gave me a reason to go downtown Napa and I always love going to Oxbow Market. Great location and clean.

Great location

Went here for my honeymoon the lobby was the perfect hangout and sip wine atmosphere and the room was nice. The location is walking distance from downtown Napa with tons of wine and food options

We came to Napa Valley for the half marathon and loved staying at The Knoll Napa Valley. The rooms were great. The beds were comfy, friendly service, and shout out to Jesse for great bar service.

Great spot, new and modern decor'. Bar and restaurant onsite make it even better. Very accommodating staff.

The property is a bit out from downtown NAPA. Breakfast was being by a single person for the entire hotel.

Only two complaints. The hamburger was wonderful,but the center was raw. And I had to go to the 4th floor for ice. I was on the 1 st floor. Minor detail, but get your machines fixed… The staff were all wonderful. It was the quietest place I have ever stayed.

Great modern & cosy hotel. Loved the lobby & bar area, the bar in particular was a great feature. They have happy hour in the afternoons and a good bar menu, making it a great social space to unwind at the end of the day. Good staff and facilities. The only issues were no laundry facilities and we could hear guests moving around upstairs at times, but the overall hotel and its appeal would definitely bring me back again in the future. Loved our stay here

Fit our needs but definitely added extra cost to the stay. Parking is $18 a day even though they have their own lot morning coffee if not made in room is three dollars per cup.
