Excellent séjour à Casa Sant'Andrea! Nous y avons passés 3 nuits. Situé à moins de 10min à pieds de la Piazza di Roma où le bus de l'aéroport vous dépose et environ 15min de la gare principale, l'auberge est facile à trouver, en face du canal. Accueil très sympathique de la part de l'équipe de la réception, toujours prête à rendre service et partager les bons plans sur Venise. Les chambres sont simples, je dirai même spartiates mais propres avec le confort minimum. De toute façon, nous n'y passions que la nuit, les journées étant bien remplies à l'extérieur! Ma seule remarque concernerait l'ajout d'un miroir dans la chambre, ca ne serait pas de refus et le wifi capricieux. Pour le reste, 10/10 :) Si l'occasion se représente, nous retournerons à Casa Sant'Andrea sans hésiter!

The breakfast is the same everyday, but there are cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, juice, bake goods, and toasts. The only concern is the elevator that could be broken from time to time. The location is excellent as we did not have look for long with our luggage in the evening. There is no help with luggage up and down stairs and crossing bridges in Venice unless the hotel offers porter service for a fee. Being close enough to P. Le. Roma helped.

The major problem for us with this property was that the lift was NOT working for the duration of our visit and had been so for a time before our stay. We were given a room on the third floor and at our age mid 70s, this was very difficult. No other room was offered. NO assistance with our luggage up too and back down from our room was given.

They turned off the AC and turned on the heat, it's still in the mid 70's, and I had sun beaming in my room all day, so it was HOT! The gave us a fan to use, unfortunately we fell asleep with a window open and we got dozens of mosquitoe bites! Dozens! The mattress is old and you feel the springs.

Em tudo minha estadia foi boa. Pontos negativos , a cama fazia muito barulho e ficamos ao lado de uma igreja que tocava um sino que encomodou um pouco. A recepção fez um trabalho excelente com muita paciência porque não falo inglês mas mesmo assim nos compreendeu bem rápido. No café da manhã comemos a vontade e estava tudo fresquinho. No geral foi muito bom. Recomendo.

A high rating for a BARE BONES room with simple decor and no tv because of the location and price. It is right next to the bus stop, people mover, and water taxi. A little market to buy water/groceries is nearby too. Ideal location for cruisers with big bags and those who are fine with the very basics who want to stay in Venice. The breakfast was simple and sufficient to start the day. The AC worked well during a heat wave. The staff was friendly.

Great location near the Venezia S. Lucia train station and short walking distance to the water busses. On the outskirts of Venice, so noise was at a minimum. Staff members were pleasant and available 24 hours. We needed to return and retrieve our room key each time we came and left. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and perfect after long days of walking. Would recommend to anyone wanting an affordable option in Venice!

The receiptionist is great and helpful especially the lady call Jasmine and she is really helpful and suppport in my trip. The food in the morning is great. The location is excellent, very close the bus and train station. As many stairs a in the Venezia and good to stay at the starting point. Also the water bus is pier just next the front door of the hotel. It is very convenience to travel every the main site in Venezia!

A high rating for a BARE BONES room with simple decor and no tv because of the location and price. It is right next to the bus stop, people mover, and water taxi. A little market to buy water/groceries is nearby too. Ideal location for cruisers with big bags and those who are fine with the very basics who want to stay in Venice. The breakfast was simple and sufficient to start the day. The AC worked well during a heat wave. The staff was friendly.

Great location near the Venezia S. Lucia train station and short walking distance to the water busses. On the outskirts of Venice, so noise was at a minimum. Staff members were pleasant and available 24 hours. We needed to return and retrieve our room key each time we came and left. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and perfect after long days of walking. Would recommend to anyone wanting an affordable option in Venice!

I was looking for a cheap hotel in Venice, near to the bus station for the airport bus. This was a good choice. It is a very old building and my room was small with cheap furniture but it had a big ensuite bathroom and was spotlessly clean. Lots of negative reviews about the elevator but following the instructions, it was fine. I had to leave very early for a first flight out of the airport. I mentioned to the day receptionist, she passed the message to the evening staff, and one of them was ready for me as I left. I was also offered a takeaway breakfast. The location is super, right next to some vaporetto stops and 5 mins from the bus station.

This place was clean and very helpful staff. It had a great location for being close to rail, groceries, the water buses( vaporetto )and the people mover. I liked that it wasn’t in the very busy, crowded areas. But was just a short walk away.

We have a great time in Venice. we chose this hotel for several reasons. 1- is very close to the train station. so when we arrived we check in and , we were carry nothing to the center. 2- breakfast is included and is more than many hotels that we had stay. a great coffee machine from eggs to cheese to croissants. FANTASTIC. 3- now venice charges turist 10 Euros per day per person for the city center. since this hotel is out the city center like Plaza san Marc , we were able to register for the exemption and we did not have to pay. 4- Is by the water and right there U can get a vaporetto, to the other Island.

Fantastic location, close to the water bus, train station and within a 30 minute walk to pretty much everything! The young lady who checked us in (I am sad to say I didn’t get her name) was FANTASTIC she gave us a map, recommendations on where to eat (which turned out to be great) and walked us through how to use the public transit. She was so helpful. The breakfast in the morning left a bit to be desired but didn’t bother us!

The breakfast is the same everyday, but there are cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, juice, bake goods, and toasts. The only concern is the elevator that could be broken from time to time. The location is excellent as we did not have look for long with our luggage in the evening. There is no help with luggage up and down stairs and crossing bridges in Venice unless the hotel offers porter service for a fee. Being close enough to P. Le. Roma helped.

Great breakfast and close to the train station. Property was off the beaten path so felt nervous walking although was assured we were in a safe area by the front desk. Walls were definitely not sound proof (older building).

Great location to car parking garage. Noisy at night due to being by canal (industrial part). Shared bathroom and not great rooms. Bed was not comfy at all. A/C was amazing. Front desk workers were great!

NO ELEVATORS NO ELEVATORS!! Swear their site said there was when I booked so when you get assigned a room on floor 2, it’s 2 flights up dragging your luggage. The lobby is considered floor zero. Factor in heat and an older individual and it’s a heart attack waiting to happen-but if you’re smart you won’t have a heart attack here because someone would have to carry you down! When we finally made it to our room the AC was not on and I couldn’t get it to work. So I happily (not) walked downstairs to make an inquiry and mentioned there should be water in the room for after that nightmare of carrying up luggage. The “gentleman” at the front desk informed me there was a vending machine! When I said there should be complimentary water since the elevator did not work he told me if I didn’t like it there he would issue a refund and we could leave. Really? A bottle of water or two asked for in exchange for dragging bags upstairs will break them? Ridiculous! BTW the vending machine was not working! Overall the hotel is “you get what you pay for”. Beds are old. Location near the people mover and vaporattto (Piazzale Roma stop) is convenient. Very easy to get to from the airport-we pre booked a transfer on the bus-and just had to activate our ticket at the bus stop. The buffet breakfast is nice-no hot food. Would I stay again? Yes-with lighter luggage -we were packed for a two week cruise. And hopefully the nasty attitude guy gone.
