The location wasn’t convenient to the beach as thought would be in the picture. The plates not arranged and everywhere, no forks nor tea towel. The pool looks dirty and not maintained as shown in the advertisement in wotif. The receptionist told us there was access at the backyard of the hotel to the beach but there wasn’t. The information in the wotif is different from the actual situation. Not recommended.

Friendly staff, good location & value for money. A continental breakfast included & taken in the restaurant. In warm weather the pool would be a pleasant place to relax. Currently the restaurant is not operating at night but an adjoining bbq area would be fabulous if available in summer. Rooms equipped with toaster, jug, microwave , crockery & cutlery. We will return

It was a good stay as we had a dog. The only thing was we were not told it was an extra $15 for the dog when we called on the phone from the girl, she did apologise which we were fine with. Pool would have been a great option but unfortunately it was not operational due to a table and chairs in it and not clean. Other than that it was nice

The room needed a good full clean. Thick dust on the AC unit, and on the bathroom fan. The bathroom needed a proper clean, as the toilet needed a scrubbing and appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time. The corner of the shower also needed to be cleaned. The beds were comfortable and the sheet/bedding was clean. Eden as a town was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed walking around the town.

The young couple who own this hotel have done a superb job of keeping the older infrastructure updated with modern furnishings and decor. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water and the A/C worked great! What more can you ask for? We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip along the Southeast Coast of Australia!

the fact the we turned up on a cold day & told us the heater wasn’t working, wasn’t a great start. very cold overnight in the room. small space heater provided did very little to help.

It was the worst hotel so far along our 2500 km route along the east coast, but in terms of price it was in the upper middle range. I wouldn't book it again. I couldn't sleep much because I could hear everything from the neighbors left and right. When someone goes to the toilet or showers at night, the bathroom pipes squeak. Towels had stains. But the bed was comfortable and the facilities are good. The staff was friendly.

A very spacious room exceeded expectations with a modern bathroom. Not sure if the exhaust fan for the bathroom worked but the shower pressure and hot water were excellent. Beds are comfortable, towels soft and convenient park right out front.

Booked a place for two nights. Positives : - Can park directly in front of rooms Negatives : - No room service. Despite the website saying room service available on request - but when I asked, i was told they don’t provide room service. - Tiny rooms with very inconvenient layout - Very uncomfortable mattress - No dining options and a terrible bar - “Free wifi” which you can’t connect to and even if you are connected, it won’t load anything. I thought this was the case for whole area, but I connected to a free wifi at a pub down the road, and it was super fast - Staff communication is an absolute zero. When asked about the wifi, I was told it is just Eden ! - Had a massive mess up with my two nights booking and they were blaming Expedia for it. Tried to find me other room in the area but couldn’t then I ended up staying in the room i booked for and apparently the family who had double booked my room had to be turned away.

Very good service at the reception. We were a bit early and got very good info by the owner what we could do with the hour and half until room was ready. When we came back Kim at the reception made the check in very effecient and indeed very nicely. We were also upgraded to a bit bigger room with separate beds without any problems and free of charge

We felt welcome as soon as we walked into reception and were greeted by Josh. He gave us a comprehensive guide to beaches and dining options around Eden which were very helpful for our stay (after not being to the Sapphire Coast for 20 years). We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was ideal for our longer stay. The suite was impeccably clean and well-maintained (better than the Wotif photos). Great location opposite the golf club, walking distance to Eden shops and more. Highly recommend!

We were booked for 2 nights and had to cancel both on the day of arrival. I can understand a one night penalty but to keep both nights without even the courtesy of a response just goes to show how greedy some people can be. I can understand the penalty for the first nights accommodation but to keep both nights is in my view over the top. We will be frequent travellers to Eden and will not be using this motel.

Check-in was great and the staff was awesome. Went to eat at the golf club across the street, which was good. If you wanted to play a few rounds of golf… You will have to wait on the mini kangaroos that hang out on the course.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Coachman's Eden. The room was well organised and comfortable, the price was great and the manager was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and it was handy to have the restaurant on site on a cold winter night. Definitely recommended.

They should have heated the room before we arrived. The room was freezing when we came. They mentioned they serve breakfast, however, the breakfast is only coffee, and cereals with cold milk. The motel is really pricey for the amenities and the location!
