My Place Hotel-Savannah Airport/Pooler, GA

Need silverware in rooms

This property is nice enough, but it doesn’t note on the website that you must bring your own utensils and cookware which is a really big inconvenience. They do charge you for spatulas two dollars a piece and silverware and bowls we ended up going to the dollar store in Costco for pots and pans and paper plates and cups. Very inconvenient should be noted on the website. The staff was friendly enough However they did not recommend anyone staying there either for long periods of time unless they plan on buying all their own cooking amenities maintenance was nice enough that came to fixed a few things with the garbage disposal. Would only stay for an OVERNIGHT IF I had to.

The room was newly refurbished. New everything. Hotel is still under construction. It'll be nice once it's completed.

Parking was questionable for safety. Building recently had some minor flooding on 1st floor that I understand couldn’t be helped. Just didn’t have the best conditions for a new hotel. Also saw some ants and small bugs on floor in bathroom.

Truly enjoyed our 5 day stay. First time staying at one of these types of hotels. Was nice to have a kitchen with a full size fridge. Ben was very comfortable and the fact that I had a recliner really put the room over the top. The cost was very reasonable for all the amenities.

Very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed. The only complaint I have is that the a/c in the lobby and hallways was much too cold.

Only one elevator, went bad overnight. Had to do 3 trips to bring down my and my wifes luggage from 3rd floor. This would have not been a problem except that I am 73 years old, have had both my knees replaced with prosthetics(artificial knees) and open heart surgery. No one offered to help or gave alternatives Not a good first impression of a Hotel brand

So being my first stay at My Place, it was misleading to offer the whole kitchenette thing and not the dishes nor pots & pans. I paid extra to stay at this hotel because of the kitchenette thinking that I would be able to cook food but was only able to utilize the microwave to cook and the refrigerator to store my food that I wasnt able to cook. Although the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the occupants staying across the way at the other hotel chain could see right into my room. The black-out curtain didnt fit the size of the window so the awakening of the sun at 6:30am cause and effect was not welcomed. The front desk staff was polite and friendly but having to go up and down the elevator 3 times before the keycard actually worked was very frustrating, but she did apologize. A storm came thru during my stay so i was unable to walk nor drive to the very near Walmart and Outlets. The grounds were clean and parking was free. Although I did sign up for the rewards program with this hotel chain, I wouldnt be able to pack dishes and pots & pans along with my traveling necessities, so I will not pay extra to stay at this hotel chain in the future just to eat the same as i would at any other non offering breakfast hotel.

We didn't stay after checking in and I had 2 rooms. There were crumbs in the bed, melted chocolate on the furniture and messed up blankets on the bed in one room. The other room had dead bugs everywhere and dog hair. No vacuum for sure. Absolute disgusting. Expedia needs to refund my stay.

The rooms were not clean upon arrival. There were hugs, the tub was dirty and there were no immenities.

Waited 45 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Got to our room and there was ants everywhere. Waited another 30 minutes for someone to come back to the front desk and all they did was move us to the next room that had ants also.

The hotel smells mildew and the room smells mildew too.

The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The facility has a moisture issue but it seems they are working hard to fix it. DeHumidifiers in the hallways.

The walls were so thin you could here the person above Us walking around and we woke up at 3:30 Am when they woke us. We did not have any ice in our freezer so I asked the clerk about the ice and that we also didn’t have any bath wash. We never got any. Our window shade was 4” too short so you could see in our room fortunately we were on the second floor. Also when we arrived there were 10 plus Latino workers hanging out in the parking lot smoking pot and drinking beer. And of course in the morning they left all the trash in the parking lot.

The hotel just was not in a very good condition and the bed was very uncomfortable. The room was clean but very sparse

The room was fine, the only issue I had was the cable was out and there was only one person working. She was wonderful but she had no support.

Rooms were clean, staff was very nice, location was perfect. Dog friendly so we were kept up by barking until the owner went to sleep. Price of stay was affordable compared to other hotels. Full kitchen was a plus but we didn’t use it as we ate out all week.

Room had all we needed for our visit. Beds were comfortable. Only issue we had was the shower. Very low water pressure.

The staff was really courteous and the rooms were spacious.

After a very long day on the road, Brittany recognized I was exhausted. She got me checked in quickly while offering some suggestions on dinner that could be delivered so I wouldn't have to go back out. The phone was ringing and she handled those with professionalism all the while making me feel like an important guest. Very positive experience!

The staff was amazing and they made it easy to travel with dogs! 100% recommend

The place was nice and clean. Brittany the front desk agent was very nice friendly and made us feel very welcomed. She was the best!!!!!!! Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Room was nice, modern, & clean. The bed was too soft. The front desk staff double charged us for the room & we had to work with them 2 times to get it fixed. They said it could take up to 5 days to see the charges reversed so we still haven’t verified it is fixed.

Great place for a one night stay, very convenient and close enough to the highway without the noise.....staff is excellent.

Easy to get to

Room was basic but had everything you needed. Lots of shopping and quick eats around (walking distance)

Didn't care for location. Discusting dumpsters visible and close to front door. Loud furnace type sound inside room constantly even when AC was off. Room phone rang at midnight but was tryingbto sleep so Didn't answer. No message left so have no idea why call occurred. Next morning we reportedbitvand desk person couldn't explain why.

As other reviewers have stated, the rooms have the essentials and are clean! It seems like a new property. No free breakfast, though.
