Very nice hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful! The hotel was a bit further out from town but trams were easy to get to. The facilities were amazing however the only downfalls were that the spa wasn’t yet open and they didn’t have enough sunbeds so we couldnt get one in the afternoon. We had dinner at the Lora restaurant which was phenomenal!

The pool closes at 7:00pm so after a long day of sightseeing the city you cannot enjoy the pool. The hotel does not allow their towels at the beach or to be use for day trips at the beach. A family of 5 needs 3 rooms or 1 suit and 1 standard room. the hotel does not allow 4 people in one room.

Modern beautifully large space impersonal feeling walking into it. The reception staff was absolutely phenomenal day in and day out with warm, greetings, knowledgeable, suggestions, enjoyable conversations, those persons and the view were the best part of this hotel. My dinner at Café Laura was delicious. The service was excellent. It was disappointing at night as the room began to smell like dirty socks from the factory next-door. The hotel really needs to have an air intake filtration system or aromatherapy natural oils options in each room. The rooms were well appointed, with a steamer and blow dryer. There were no bath robes however slippers were provided Min Barr had a nice selection of snacks and drinks. It wasn’t relaxing out on the balcony at night due to the pulsating techno beat coming from the poolside bar. The pool closes too early 7 PM. There’s no way to enjoy it for the evening due to their lack of having lifeguards available. The spa was not open yet nor was their rooftop pool. This was not made mention on the website. If you like the big vibe of Miami or Vegas, this is the place for you if you’re searching something a little more intimate and in the heart of Barcelona, this is not the site each taxi cost perhaps on an average of €25 a trip to get into the center of Barcelona to do your various sightseeing. Often I wanted to return to my room to take a swim and then go out for the night however, pool closed not an option.

Beautiful brand new hotel with excellent facilities and polite and friendly staff throughout. Good size rooms with matching good facilities. Excellent breakfast and Fresc restaurant where I had excellent service and high quality dinner. Two negative experiences my first night was sleepless because of a very traffic noisy room (facing busy fast motorways) but I received apology and a really quiet room when I complained. Also I was asked to pay €100 a night as deposit so if your stay was for few nights you have to pay upfront a lot of euros in addition to your charge for the whole stay before you even see your room !. Overall the experience (except my first night) was otherwise excellent. Would be interesting to see if this hotel would stand its ground in the competition with similar 5* contenders. Wish it very good luck.

The TV turned on by itself multiple times in the middle of the night, which is just absolutely ridiculous. All in all, it’s pretty disappointing for a such new hotel, not worth the 5-star label.

The staff checked to see if we had at least received the fruit that was meant to be included, which we had not. They apologised and offered my partner a takeaway coffee, which was appreciated, but overall there was no real attempt to make up for the missed amenities. A lovely hotel with kind staff, but the service follow-up needs improvement, and the location is just not the best for exploring the city.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was sparkling clean, the breakfast buffet was delicious (make sure you try the churros) and in the late morning, they put out candy and juice in the lobby until the evening. “If you value security and accountability, think twice about this hotel.” I’m an American traveler with Hyatt and Marriott Gold status who has stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide. I chose to try SLS Hotel Barcelona and left extremely disappointed. During checkout, I asked Guest Services to collect my luggage. After I departed, I discovered my Apple AirPods were missing from my backpack. Apple’s Find My iPhone showed the AirPods at multiple locations within the hotel and then moving locations in Barcelona shortly after I reported the loss. Despite multiple calls with staff (including names provided), I received no meaningful update. In my view, this reflects a serious breach of trust and security while my luggage was under hotel control. I have never experienced anything like this at any other property. I urged management to preserve CCTV/key-card logs, conduct a proper investigation, and provide a full refund and appropriate compensation. Travelers deserve a hotel that safeguards guest property and responds promptly and transparently when something goes wrong. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

We stayed a week at the SLS Barcelona and loved it. The staff was great and very helpful with whatever we needed, whether it was something for the room, things to do in and around Barcelona and getting us dinner reservations. Emma and Raquel at the front desk/concierge were especially helpful and always willing to provide assistance or guidance whenever we needed as well as constantly checking up on us to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do to make our stay better. It was a great experience and if I had a chance to go to Barcelona again I would definitely stay here again.

The reception and staff was very supportive and the room was fine. Only after I checked out I closed the bill. Only I had a guest still in the room but anticpated that the bill was closed. Only without my concetn has the hotel accepted more ordrrs in the room including charging late check out while I coordinated that the latest the guest would leave was 13:00 which they say was fine. I know the hotel had a friend of my guest at the reception that maybe has made them not follow the normal procedure but I was shocked when I saw the final cost charged to me.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately takes 15mins in a taxi to town centre 20 euros each way. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss and staff would forget to bring ordered drinks and food. A new hotel so I’m sure they will get better. Distance to centre is inconvenient and being right next to a power station was off putting. Although on a map it shows next to the coast there is no beach,only a small marina.

An amazing hotel to stay at whilst in barca. Slightly out of town which we knew. Nice walk back into the city (90 mins) but along the beach. Get an uber, as much cheaper than a taxi if you dont want to walk. Two swimming pools which are very good. Staff were amazing throughout the stay. The breakfast was quality! Only reason why this isn’t a 5* is purely location and nextdoor to the far side is a power plant which makes the view from one side not amazing. The sunset on the rooftop bar is a must see.

The hotel is new and clean. However, they are still in the learning curve. The hotel need time to have efficient check in and check out process. My room was not ready on time. The house keeping process also needs to be improved. The hotel assigns one quality control employee to check the housekeeping work which is not efficient. The minibar was not filled in the 2nd day of my stay. The lobby and the reception are always busy. One major item, the hotel is next to sewage plant.

This was certainly a nice hotel with a great pool. It lives up to its modern appeal. Service was excellent, with the exception of being told that the breakfast would be complimentary. When we arrived for breakfast, we were told that it was not included; there would be a €35 each fee for my wife and I. Instead, we walked to Les Bessones Bar Restaurant that was a short walk away. There, we enjoyed a superb Cafe Americano and a croissant each for about €8 total. It was certainly a popular place with the locals. I doubt that I would stay here in the future, due to its distance from things to do and the absurdly cost of dinning.
