My son and I spent 3 days and 2 nights there, and we tried each of the restaurants. The food was great, and the swimming pools were very nice. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy — a game room, a VR room, and even a small cinema. We also booked some water activities with Star Marine. We definitely plan to come back again.

ホテルの中で全てが完結します。ホテルは大きくリゾートを満喫できます。2泊しましたが毎日、プールで遊びました。キッズルームやゲームルームなどがあり子供達はプール以外にも楽しんでいました。また、毎日無料で参加出来るプログラムがあり時間が足りないくらいでした。料理教室やバブルプールなど子供達は喜んでいました。チェックアウトは12時ですが、スターラウンジを無料で22時まで使用できます。ジムでロッカーの鍵とタオルを借りればプールも行けます。コタキナバルに来るならまた使用します。

We loved our stay, the hotel is beautiful, with fantastic facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast selection was extensive, and although busy when we were there, it was very well managed. We had access to the Club Lounge, and this was fabulous. The pool was wonderful. We also used the Star Jetty for an island transfer and water sports and the service here was great too. All in all, a fantastic hotel for a family holiday, and we would very much recommend.

호텔의 경관과 부대시설 이용이 좋았습니다 노을을 볼 수 있고 조식도 괜찮았습니다 다만 방 환경이 조금 아쉬웠어요 에어컨을 틀어도 방 내부에서 꿉꿉한 냄새와 축축한 이불이 아쉬웠고 욕실 욕조는 청소가 덜되어 있어서 이런저런 이물질들이 보였습니다 기본적인 부분이 충족되지 않아 아쉬웠지만 편의적인 부분이나 서비스는 좋았고 만족스러웠습니더

They didn't change bed sheet cover before I cheked in that hotel. I saw disgusting something spot on the bed. So I told to hotel staff, they solved it right away. But I was not satisfied. I think everything else was fine.

The hotel property and bfast are amazing. Nice pools and pvt beach. Very nice. However, the carpet in the room had a terrible smell. The furniture is a little worn but the bathroom has been updated.

This a family resort which has a great location and beach area, however for the cost of the room the cleaning and overall maintenance in the room was terrible. We had a giant cockroach in the bathroom and mould in the silicon and grout of the bath. Not worth the 500 dollars a night price tag no matter how good the facilities

탄중아루 씨뷰 룸을 예약했는데 선셋이 아주 훌륭한 룸을 배정해 주셔서 룸에서 선셋을 볼수 있었어요. 룸 컨디션도 좋고 엑스트라 베드도 있고 요청한 침대가드도 빠짐없이 설치해 주셨어요. 너무나 좋은 여행이 였습니다. 조식도 다양한 종류와 깔끔한 세팅이였어요. 아쉬운점은 리조트와 연결되어있는 바다가 너무 더러워 들어 갈수 없어서 너무 아쉬웠어요. ㅠ

고급 호텔 명성에 맞게 서비스도 친절하고 묵기 편안했습니다. 다만, 제 기준 에어컨이 너무 약했어요. 더운 실외에 있다가 실내로 들어오면 땀이 금방 식지를 않아서 따로 핸디 선풍기를 켜야 할 정도였습니다. 그 부분만 제외하면 나머지는 아쉬운 점이 없었습니다.

I’m really surprised by the good reviews. The room and condition of the hotel is so dirty and shabby - especially for the price point. It was raining so we were in the room, we’d rather have been back at home; it was not luxurious or pleasant. The carpets are stained, the furniture is tired, the walls are dirty. Service took over 1 hour to deliver ice-bucket. Hotel is booked /packed so forget honouring any gold member privileges for upgrades or late checkouts (we managed to extend by 1 hour after much awkward negotiation). Breakfast was wide variety but below average (we went to a cafe outside inside). In-room dining was better than expected. Facilities are good for kids and nice views. Good live band and staff were pleasant. We had a baby cot that was made of metal bars , and very little padding (eg a sheet). Our baby hit her head off the bars. Overall the hotel rooms are long overdue a facelift.

コタキナバル空港からgrabで約15分ほど。古いけど、清掃が行き渡った快適な部屋でした。スタッフの方々も、親切で感じが良かったです。朝食は、外の焼きそばなどのメニューが変わる他はほぼ同じ内容でしたが、とても種類が豊富で飽きなかったです。フルーツもどれもとても甘くて美味しかった。豪華な朝食を外のテーブルで食べるのは、本当に気持ちよかったです。客層は、中国人と韓国人が多かったです。中国人の子供連れがうるさくてリラックス出来ませんでしたが、早目の時間帯に朝食を食べに行っていたお陰か、混雑はするものの、SNSなどで見かける様な汚い食べ方をする人達はいませんでした。プールでは、部屋番号を言えば、大きくて暖かいタオルやライフジャケットが無料でレンタル出来ます。オーシャンビューのレストランもとても良かったし、プールサイドには沢山のプルメリアの花が咲いていて、いつもほのかに花の香りがしてて良かったです。サピ島までのボートは敷地内のマリーナから乗る事が出来て、街中のショッピングモールにも無料のシャトルバスが2時間おきに出ています。このホテルを選んだお陰で、とても良いコタキナバルの旅行ができました。またコタキナバルに来る際には、こちらのホテルに泊まりたいと思います。

What a delightful stay ! From the moment we walked up the steps to the sound of the gong ,cool towels and refreshing drinks- friendly and accommodating staff - we knew we were in for a treat . Hotel surrounds and pool are beautiful , the yoga class in the morning right next to the water was a lovely way to start the day. Food plentiful and delicious with a huge variety of dishes. Always something going on and yet blissful places to be still and relaxed. The staff are always smiling and will go out of their way to help .Best 4 days we have spent in a long time - we will be back for sure - terima kasih Shangri La Tanjung Aru for a wonderful stay .

We are extremely pleased with the level of service provided by the team. It was the first time I could what app the team to make requests and the team was very prompt to reply. We felt really comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. I would like to extend a special mention to the recreation manager Mr Ojes. We had some hiccups when we were trying to book the sea walking activity, Mr Ojes was very prompt to rectify the situation, turning a potentially negative experience into a positive one. His exceptional service truly made a difference. Thank you again for a fantastic stay. We went for a long weekend, the location was great which allowed us to maximize our time. Only 10-15 minutes from the airport. The rooms are comfortable and property is beautiful. The food is okay, but not great. There's nothing nearby so you must eat all your meals here. Breakfast is a big buffet with lots of choice. Loved the yoga offered on the weekend. So sad that such a big hotel, can't offer yoga on other days as well. The spa is very beautiful.

This place is consistently fantastic. The site itself is beautiful and really well appointed. The views are stunning, and sunset just sensational. Well worth the cost to enjoy the sunset bar. Food options are great - we used most of these during our stay. The breakfast is wonderful, with a great range to cater to all tastes. The main thing that makes this place amazing though is the staff. All our interactions with staff were fantastic. Haniff over in food and beverages will do whatever he can to make your stay special - and has an incredible memory for the details of the guests. Brandon who took care of us on our hotel organised trip to Sapi Island was fantastic - knowledgeable, kind to our daughter, and made sure we got out to the reef to snorkel before it was understandably closed due to low tide. All staff, from those in the kids water area and in the games room, to those looking after your room and helping with bags, were great. We'd stayed right before coming to this hotel at another, big, "5 star" place not far away - also with nice features - but what makes the difference is how you are made to feel at Shangri-La Tanjang Aru. That is what made our holiday. (I can only hope that the hotel managers do not expand further and risk losing what makes this place special. There is a pretty warehouse for people wanting to take instagram photos up the road - keep this place the treasure it is!)

The Shangti-La is just a step up from other hotels. Yes, it's big and busy but the staff go out of their way to really spoil you. I'm vegan and they bent over backwards to ensure I had a great breakfast, sent soy milk to my room tweaked dishes so I ate well. And the location - oh my. We stayed in a garden room and could walk straight out looking at the sea. Room had a shower and a bath, was well stocked. Water in the fridge every day. Their Spa was great too. I can't think of anything bad about the place. We just didn't want to leave.

We spent our Christmas at this hotel. Service was very good, all staff helpful no matter the subject. Hotel is calm and relaxing, perfect for re-creation. My son just loves the pool area for kids, which kept him busy for hours each day. But prices are little on the high end, especially since a 20 mins taxi drive away offers 50% lower prices on food and beverages.
