they didn’t have a reservation that I made from hotel.com and they were leaving the lobby to go check to see if rooms were clean because they had no way of knowing. It caused me great anxiety after a long drive

The room wasn't very clean. The fees they charge in comparison to what you get is way unbalanced. If you are going to charge $50 pet cleaning fee upfront (which is a bad policy and encourages people to not care what their pets do), then you should at least provide a clean room.

There are no "extras" at this hotel. 1 bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo are provided. There is no ice, no hair dryer, no Kleenex, and not in room coffee maker. The bed was fin other that it made noise every time we moved.
