I used the automated check-in but then I needed help to know where to park. There was one person on reception who wasn't very helpful and could have provided me with much better directions to the car park and how the ticket system worked. As a result of her not explaining the car parking system to me, I ended up paying the full price on my first day because I didn't know to get my ticket validated at receiption before leaving. The restaurant staff were lovely but the food was average at best and they had issues splitting our bill which left us waiting for around 20 minutes.

Very convenient for travellers as it's a 5 minute walk to the airport. A shuttle bus is available but I didn't need it. My room was spotlessly clean, and room service was very good and large portions. The only thing I had trouble with is the 'guest laundry' stated on Wotif.com isn't a laundry where guests can do their own washing, rather the hotel can hire an external contractor to come and wash it for you, which doesn't work if you have an early flight. Not a deal-breaker but I was relying on it this trip unfortunately... My neighbour on the plane was the one that suffered 😅

Shuttle service is a joke. Called hotel they said 20 minutes. Called after waiting 30 minutes and was told another 20 minutes. We gave up and walked there in 20 minutes. Check in by machine as ok but not personable. Room was very clean and well designed. Italian restaurant is good but overpriced.

There was no one at the front desk to check in!! We eventually figured out the self check in procedure. The desk for the adjoining hotel, Novotel, had three staff people at their front desk. One of them told me that the person who was supposed to be manning the Ibis desk must have gone on break. An hour later there was still no one there.

The room was fantastic. However, I had to wait a long time to get served at check in. There seemed to be not enough available staff to assist. Also, at checkout the next day, there were no staff available at all. I asked a passing staff member about checking out, and she accepted my room key. I was expecting staff to be available to assist with checkout and answer further questions about transport, but there was no one to ask.

Staff was nowhere to be found and would not respond to questions. No phones in the rooms??? Supposed to communicate with the staff through chat...but they ignored all communication even that the chat app confirmed my questions were read by somebody. Terrible customer service. Location is great for early departures...that is the only thing good about this hotel

Check in was understandably clunky with new staff training, but very disjointed and not service focussed at all. Simple requests like cancelling shuttle bus booking, and restaurant bookings, were dismissed, prompting the use of QR codes and online bookings. Room overall was fine, checkout was nothing short of frustrating, being told your card doesn’t work an to use another in such a demeaning and rude manner was not appreciated, I had explained to the young man on reception the error code showing was a problem on his end, not mine, it wasn’t until a senior member of staff came and processed the exact same card that it went through no problem. This was my second stay at Ibis Styles, and the only positive I have is from the restaurant, the barista and staff were lovely, food was wonderful and most certainly deserved a positive mention.

The hotel's proximity to the bus stops and parking opposite Terminal Four, along with its relative newness and decent food options make it attractive to me when my flight is early. The breakfast offerered a wide variety of options in a very pleasant dining atmoshphere. I was very pleased. The convenience to all of the airport terminals was awesome. My flight departed from the international terminal which was the furthest away, but still only about a 10 minute walk. The hotel also offers a free shuttle if you so desire.

Was great to be able to walk to the terminal for an early flight. We ordered from the room service menu. My partners food he said was great - Wayu burger. I ordered tomato soup which tasted like tinned soup and seasonal greens which was supposed to be on cauliflower mash but just got a plate of asparagus. Asparagus was good but this order was no where up to the $72 it cost me. My partner thought the coffee in the morning was inexpensive and good and quite a good breakkie

Freundliches Personal und schönes Zimmer. Der Shuttle Bus dauert länger als der Weg zu Fuss- auch vom Internationalen Terminal. Frühstück nicht dem sonstigen Standard entsprechend. Nur ein Kaffeeautomat für alle Gäste mit teilweise langer Wartezeit. Mehrere der warmen Speisen waren gleichzeitig vergriffen. I didn’t arrive at the Hotel until after 3am and checked out early, so wasn’t really there long enough to really rate the Hotel properly. I slept through breakfast so missed that. But definitely want to give a big shout out to the fellow on the Reception. Once I got up to my room for whatever reason my combination lock on my suitcase would not unlock and I was getting quite upset as I couldn’t open it. I called the Hotel and the same fellow at Reception came straight up to help me. He managed to open it for me and I just want him to know that I appreciated it so much. After being delayed 3 times by the airline I was pretty exhausted and just couldn’t think straight, let alone try and work out how to open it. One thing I’ve learnt from this is go back to the lock and key. I wish I knew his name. Hopefully he may see this and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for going above and beyond your duties.
