Baymont by Wyndham Jamestown Conference Center & Water Park

The pool was closed and this was not disclosed at time of booking. The room was ok, but the bathroom needed serious repairs (sink faucet, towel handle), and carpet was torn. Spacious room for 6 people.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, but the pool area wasn't great. The floor was rough on barefoot and the pool even though it was warm it was yellow up the sides and there was a scum on top of the water in the hot tub. The floor of the pool was very rough too. There is a nice bar and grill on the property. If you don't care about using the pool it was good.

Exceptional breakfast; roomy; quite clean; EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED pool area was closed for cleaning on a Saturday night. We had people dressed in swimming suits walk down to pool only to find it was closed. It was a family celebration of a graduation and was a large let down to have pool unavailable!

Bartender was great but there was no staff. Morning people were talking on their phones video chatting with whoever. Breakfast was non existent. Using a kiosk to check in or out you can’t hear them. Felt unsafe on the property

Only paid for the room for my daughter and 3 of her friends to swim. We checked in about 3, the kids got their swim stuff on about 4:30 and walked to the pool and they were back in the room less than 5 minutes later because the pool was disgusting! There was green algae growing on the bottom of the pool and it was apparently bodily fluid smelling. The hot tub looked like shreks swamp green and cloudy and FOUL smelling! The stairs to the slide were rusted and sharp, and the jets that push water down the slide were broken and pouring the water everywhere except down the slide! The girls just came back to the room to get my husband to show him, a worker was very rude to my husband for taking photos stating a child at a birthday party had vomited in the hot tub and that he was aware of it and told my husband to leave! We contemplated what to do for about an hour and decided to ask for a refund and go to another hotel, the front desk staff got the cook apparently who yelled at us and 3 staff including the cook got very loud and told my husband to shut up! They refused the refund and told us to leave! $150 for NOTHING! Gross! Do better!
