For a small city it’s ok under construction they said the pool was full hot tub was going but they had it closed to the public for construction that wasn’t even involved with the pool area!!

Only reason we stayed here was for the hot tub. No one told us it was out of service until we were in our suits at the entrance of the pool are to find renovations in progress. There were obviously intoxicated people loitering at the front door smoking and pacing. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee was either empty or cold.

This is a really nice property, unfortunately the interenet was out when we arrived and wasn't back on by the time we checked out. It was very inconvenient for my trip and affected my booking some what.

The Pool is Quite Small and Shallow for Adults,The Kids enjoyed it. The Jacuzzi Jets Didn't work Most of the Time.

Property is older and under renovation. Hallway was smelly with dust and debris from remodeling work in the rooms. There was broken glass on the lobby floor when we came in. Shower with a very rickety door. There was no microwave unlike most Hampton Inns. Otherwise, room was clean, breakfast similar to other Hamptons.

Disappointed the pool was closed and it was not mentioned at check in. No microwave in our room, but party we traveled with did have one. Room was 47° when we got there, had to turn on the heat and it took forever to warm up. Struggled to keep the room at 70° once it warmed up to that. Staff was helpful in providing additional items needed, breakfast was kept stocked. Adjustable shower head is nice, good water pressure.

Our room had grit and bugs on the bathroom counter. there were also a couple bugs in the toilet. The bathroom sink and tub drains did not drain well. In fact your feet got a good soaking while taking a shower. There was hair on the towels that were on the shelf and also hair clippings on the sink area counter. The room darkening shade on the couch window was broken and did not close, so we enjoyed the glow of the parking lot lights all night. The cotton blanket in the closet was not folded and we were not certain if it had been used or not, so we had to go to the front desk to request a fresh one. I would expect that to certify cleanliness, these blankets would be sealed in a plastic bag or at least neatly folded. We didn't know if this was a Hampton Inn. We were not happy! We will not stay here again.

I have never felt so unwelcome when checking into a hotel in my life. The front desk person was actually wearing pajamas to check me in and not once welcomed or thanked me or even smiled. They are remodeling which is good cause I don’t think they ever clean. Shower had so much mold growing on the tile walls and so much dust on the surface of almost everything in the room, and I doubt it was construction dust.

Was not as clean as we are used to, beds appeared to have been laid on. Bathroom had dirt in corners and seemed dirty overall. When we went to make coffee the coffee cup lids were either used previously or had been spilt on. The Hampton has always been our go to when we are in Jamestown and never been disappointed until this stay. Checkin gentleman was very friendly!

Room was dirty. It had been minimally cleaned but carpet was dirty, floors were sticky, bathroom areas had layer of grime and there was used coffee in the coffee maker. Won’t stay again. On a positive note, Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked good!

The room clearly was not cleaned the sink still had toothpaste in it and men’s facial hair. The bath tub was dirty as well poop marks in the toilet. The bed was questionable weather the sheets had been changed. The pillows looked like someone had just laid down on the bed. The staff stands out front smoking so you walk thru there smoke to get into the building. It was extremely noisy as well. The shade in our room had little holes in it. We would have asked to change rooms but they were sold out. Do not stay here!

There are much better options for same price range out there. Door to room had to be slammed shut numerous times in order to close and lock it. Air conditioner under window soaked the carpet all around. No microwave in room. I will not stay there again and really makes me wonder about any Hampton or Hilton.

Check in was not smooth, seemed to be some computer issues. Room was clean, but lacking a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast area was clean and stocked. Staff was very friendly when we checked out early due to weather.

The place was clean. We only stayed one night and left pretty early so I don’t know about the area. The only complaint I have about the room was the bathroom is VERY SMALL!! You literally could not open or close the bathroom door while sitting on the toilet. You had to stand to the side to close the door.

2nd stay in 8 days. We told them we would be returning separately but my visually impaired friend was made to wait in a chair near the registration desk until I got there 1 1/2 hours later. The lobby/breakfast area was blocked off. When I explained situation on phone, I was talked to so disrespectfully. If we could have, I would not have stayed there. I won’t be staying in the future.

There was no one at the front desk for check-in. The A/C was on in the room and it was set to 58 degrees. The room smelled like sewer and there was no hot water to shower.

This was a nice hotel with a great breakfast. The reason we are rating it so low is that we were charged twice for our room. We called the hotel to try to solve the problem. The lady who answered was very friendly and sent us a receipt which shows no charge, but she was unable to help with the fact that we did have a second charge. They claim they have no records of the second charge and that they do not keep credit card information. According to our credit card company, the second charge was made AFTER we checked out, twelve hours later. I would be careful about booking a room here.

I stay at Hampton’s around the country. I arrived at 1130 asked for early check in and told had to wait until 1:00, a policy. I came back at 12:55 and asked if it was 1:00? I waited for 5 min and then they checked me in. I routinely check in early if there is availability. Had traveled 5 hours for a funeral and ended up having 15 minutes to get ready for funeral. Very poor service and policy! The hotel was not very busy and few cars in the parking lot. Might want to review policy and align with what defines good service. I’m also a Hilton Diamond.

The GM is AWFUL. Their system went down and so they tried to charge my card TWICE and I already oaid through orbit and they said if I didn't pay AGAIN they were calling the police on me and my fiance! Because THEY LOST THEIR FILES. Horrible and disrespectful..

Everyone is so nice and friendly! Everything is clean, breakfast is really good. You can walk to wal mart, the mall, several eating establishments. One thing, they need to pay attention to cleaning the bathrooms better. In the shower and around the vanity. Mold grows easily. Otherwise great experience.

Fridge and toilet weren't cleaned very well and the hardboiled eggs at breakfast wouldn't peel, fruit looked sad. Other than that, it was great. You can definitely hear neighbors getting ready in the morning though. Shower, talking, etc
