A very pleasant stay. Rooms were basic but very clean. Staff were lovely, hotel was very family friendly. Activities for the kids and a games room to play. The pool was heated also which was great and a shallow area for the kids as well as the main pool. Even the changing rooms in the pool were clean. Very impressed for the price.

This place is a 10 minute walk from Oranmore. Lots of parking, swimming pool, Gym, Sauna, Steam. Nice food, lots of staff, all of whom were super helpful and all looked happy..would recommend

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The bedroom was spacious and furnishings of high quality. the bedding was so comfy and i slept very well. It was quiet in the room and had all of the amenities required for an overnight stay. The restaurant was great and food good. Breakfast was a very good choice and food also great. The Gym was well stocked and had everything you'd need from a gym, Spin bikes, fitness classes, all the usual resistance machines, Treadmills, Row machines, Bikes, Eliptical, plus a great selection of free weights. Swimming area was very good, large pool and the best Steam room i've been in for years, great little sauna too.

Kamer was top! Iets zachtere kussens had mijn voorkeur gehad. Hotel bood veel! Zwembad, gym, restaurant en bar. Bar kan druk zijn en verder zijn er weinig zitplekken wat een beetje vervelend kan zijn als je een biertje besteld. Dame achter de receptie zeer attent.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and very tasty. Hotel room was clean, good amount of space and the bathroom was of a good size for a family. The Swimming Pool being attached to it is a godsend and it was great to get in there. It's busier in the evening than the morning, but theres a lifeguard and things for the kids to use in there as well. There's also a kids playroom that is manned in the evening with all sorts of things for all ages. The bar, restaurant and coffee rooms looked clean with plenty of offering but we didn't frequent them in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff all over the hotel. Highly recommended for a stay in Galway, and if we return in the future, will definitely stay here again. 15 minutes to the racecourse, even with festival traffic was a huge bonus

This is a great hotel. Nice and clean and huge rooms. There was a pool but kids could only use it until 7pm. That’s hard when you’re out sight seeing all day. The staff was great at the front desk. We even met a man with our same last name and who knows… maybe we are long lost relatives! It was nice and easy to get into Galway, as well as out of the city and easy to access all the major roads. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Working in the area, used the swimming pool this is a good size for getting some lengths in with jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Ordered room service and the quality of food was incredible, you could tell it was freshly made and still really hot. Breakfast had lots to choose from and very nice food I would highly recommend staying here for a stop over.

Check in was quick and pleasant. The room was a nice size, the bathroom was a bit outdated and paint flaking off the door. Restaurant food was really nice, service was slow but friendly. We went for a swim in the pool which was nice but the female changing room was very dirty, lots of hair and dirt on the floor.

Staff all very helpful and pleasant. The room was very presentable at first impressions, even a small box of chocolates! On my second evening, I had dinner in the bar. It was a disappointment. On the morning I was leaving, when I went into the bathroom I noticed silverfish running for cover as soon as I switched on the light. Not pleasant as I don’t want to inadvertently carry any back home. This was not a nice find in an otherwise pleasant room. I mentioned it to reception as I left, who were very pleasant and thanked me for informing them.

The hotel was very nice with comfortable beds. The family room was large and the pool was nice. Ample parking and an attached Cafe and restaurant (though we didn't use either). Wonderful walk into Oranmore for dinner at Giga's (delicious and casual) and a pint at Glynn's (WONDERFUL pub). My only complaint is our room was uncomfortably warm for sleeping, although it was a pretty warm/sunny day.

We arrived late and our check in was easy. The next morning, after traveling for over 24 hours, we woke late for breakfast. We were told, that we could get coffee and a crossiant in the Bar. As we were explaining why we were late, a Manager overheard us, and had the Chef, "fix" us a plate. It was amazing, and honestly, set the tone for the rest of our vacation. When we return to Ireland, we will be staying at the Maldron again.

This hotel and its staff were lovely...very clean spacious room...happy staff who were so helpful...we dere late for breakfast and the breakfast staff said not to worry...set a table for us brought croissants and yogurt and tea and toast and couldn't have been more helpful...its only a short walk ( around 15 minutes ) into the lovely village of Oranmore with its lovely restaurants and pubs there was great music and so many happy friendly people we had a lovely time.

This is an excellent hotel. It’s the first time we’ve stayed with Maldron. The hotel is very clean and comfortable – a good value for this quality of stay. Also, as we checked in, Ilaria was very helpful getting us checked in quickly and then giving excellent suggestions about how to see both the local town and the city. Her suggestions were great!

A group of us,9 people stayed at the Maldron Hotel, Oranmore for 2 nights to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The first impression we noticed was how efficient and friendly the staff were. Check in was a breeze. We ate out at a local restaurant on the first night but decided to stay in and eat at the hotels restaurant on the second night. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent with great service from Edbna and Abi who looked after us. Will we come back for a longer stay?,MOST CERTAINLY.

Very good value for evening roast dinner. Oranmore rail station is walkable from the hotel or 5 minute drive so you do not need to worry about parking in Galway.

Habitación correcta y espaciosa. Desayuno rico y variado. El parking es gratuito, pero está alejado de las zonas de pubs o restaurantes. Buenas opcion para moverse en coche por los alrededores de Galway. La gente muy agradable.

Fantastic hotel! Breakfast buffet was fabulous and we also ate there in the Grill one night, which was great too. The ONLY drawback (and it’s a small one) is that there is not really anything in walking distance, you would need to drive to other restaurants or shopping. We had a great experience here and will definitely recommend to friends who travel to this area.

This hotel and its staff were lovely...very clean spacious room...happy staff who were so helpful...we dere late for breakfast and the breakfast staff said not to worry...set a table for us brought croissants and yogurt and tea and toast and couldn't have been more helpful...its only a short walk ( around 15 minutes ) into the lovely village of Oranmore with its lovely restaurants and pubs there was great music and so many happy friendly people we had a lovely time.

The Maldron Hotel, Oranmore has an extremely attentive staff that looks to help with any request or question. It has a great pool that even had water aerobics for my mom along with a kiddie area. The food choices were good with a cozy feel in the bar. The location was very convenient - 10 min. walk to a quaint seaside village with great restaurants and just south of Galway City, an easy Uber/bus ride away.

A decent hotel, overall clean & those staff we interacted with were friendly & helpful. The hotel was a good base for us as we wanted to explore Galway City & area. We were delighted to find the little town of Oranmore, which is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel, which has great pubs & restaurants, so that was an added bonus. A taxi into Galway City was pricey, at 24 euros, but we did later discover the bus service, which was 4.5 euros each way.

Unfortunately, I can’t give more than three stars because the four star hotel would have filtered water in the room or a way to fill up your bottle with filtered water. We had to buy a half a litter bottle with €2.50 which is a rip off the next day I went to Tescos and got 5 L bottle with what €1.59 the food was below average for a high price. Breakfast was below average with a really low selection and the room had a view of the scrapyard even most things felt old. The beds were just OK but because of the noise during the night we had an awful sleep

Hotel itself was nice with a great gym. Room was clean and kept well. The girl at the reception was lovely. The restaurant is a disgrace though. I had the worst, most dry, hardest salmon in my life. No one came to collect my plate for 30 minutes, even though they cleaned the table right next to me. Then I went to pay (as I lost hope anyone will come to me) and there was a guy in a suit named Jason who was doing something at the till and did not even acknowledge my existence for a couple of minutes. I finally managed to pay with the help of that nice girl from the reception. Someone should teach the restaurant staff basic customer service (and cooking)

I stayed 10 days. A few glitches… I wasn’t warned about a routine fire drill held at noon on Thursdays, the lifts (elevators) were in and out of use, never a problem as the staff worked hard to make at least one available. Respect for my privacy was high and welcomed. Plenty of parking, laundry service, restaurant, & pub/bar with a lounge attached with a more quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was a steam table buffet - not worth the price, with mediocre quality. Plenty of parking, a complete exercise gym facility, swimming pool & other amenities, including a room fridge if I had desired! The price was moderate (about US $155/night) for a very nice place, located in a small town only 10 minutes drive from the heart of Galway, and very BP ear the main motorways north east & south. Worked well for me!

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and very tasty. Hotel room was clean, good amount of space and the bathroom was of a good size for a family. The Swimming Pool being attached to it is a godsend and it was great to get in there. It's busier in the evening than the morning, but theres a lifeguard and things for the kids to use in there as well. There's also a kids playroom that is manned in the evening with all sorts of things for all ages. The bar, restaurant and coffee rooms looked clean with plenty of offering but we didn't frequent them in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff all over the hotel. Highly recommended for a stay in Galway, and if we return in the future, will definitely stay here again. 15 minutes to the racecourse, even with festival traffic was a huge bonus

Room was perfect. Couldn't fault it at all. Food in the restaurant was OK. It was fine for the children but the menu for adults was very limited. Food came out cold and small portions. Definitely worth driving into Oranmore for better options or getting food delivered from justEat.

Working in the area, used the swimming pool this is a good size for getting some lengths in with jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Ordered room service and the quality of food was incredible, you could tell it was freshly made and still really hot. Breakfast had lots to choose from and very nice food I would highly recommend staying here for a stop over.

Our. Cleaner joy was very helpful with getting us anything we needed for the room. Extra laundry bags etc. The jolt rental phone charger at the reception should have a larger sign saying it was €18 to use per charge! Apart from that we had an excellent stay

A very well-organised, modern hotel with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Despite being a large and busy hotel, everything was clean, efficient, and well maintained. The swimming pool is absolutely brilliant and was one of the highlights of our stay. The location is also very convenient, making it a great base for exploring Galway and the surrounding area.
