A Fews uninvited guests already in the washroom, running around and i had to get rids of them, a big and three small coachroaches.

I don't like writing negative reviews of places, as I recognize this is likely a family owned franchised location of a hotel chain. But I think it's useful to let travelers know of some of the challenges. I didn't have high expectations of this, as I booked this because other rooms in Ottawa were not available. The heat in my room was always on, and it was not possible to turn it off as the thermostat was broken. The person at the front desk said there were no other rooms available and suggested I turn on the AC. I did this and also slept with the window open to help dissipate the heat. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean, but I noticed on my last night that there were spores on the pillow I had been sleeping on. The bathroom was clean and shower was decent quality, but as the hotel itself is not that well maintained did see insects after day one as the moisture had been accumulating. The staff were all very nice, and clearly trying to be accommodating, but the property itself has clear issues that I hope someone is able to deal with.

Chambre bien équipée, nettoyage à revoir : des peluches de poussières un peu partout, des mouchoirs en papier sous la table de nuit. Une seule fenêtre qui donne sur le couloir , sans voilage, un simple rideau occultant. Donc pas de luminosité dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner à emporter au comptoir, très très succinct.

Looks a bit worn down from the outside, but the room itself was very fine. Plenty of parking spaces. Reasonably priced and located within walking distance from many attractions.
