The hotel is in a good location for food and sight seeing. My only complaint is the parking garage is very difficult for SUVs and trucks. Very tight and very short. Half of the spots i could not use and my truck is normal height.

We were very sad to arrive and find out that the pool was closed as that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. It would have been nice if we had been advised of this beforehand. We were also surprised that the restaurant was closed, too. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions. We will consider staying there again the location is really good for any downtown activity.

Hotel & room were clean & nice. The listing says “limited oversized parking” (or something similar), they do not specifically mention that the height limit is 6ft. We could not fit a factory height F150 in the garage & were advised to park in 1 of 2 specific oversized spots that are very close together & by the hotel linen laundry area. If you are expecting to park anything other than a car, know that it won’t fit in the garage & there are only 2 oversized parking spots that are so tight that you can only get in/out of one side of the vehicle when parked. Decent area, lots of restaurants/bars/coffee within easy walking distance.

All around okay- definitely a dated spot and runs warm at night without A/C, but fairly clean considering it needs an update. Our room came with a kitchenette and was spacious. Bring your own dish sponge, the one they gave you is stinky and gross. Really close to all things family. Miniature world, big zoo, IMAX and restaurants. Pool is so dingy but it may be okay for some. We skipped it.

It's pretty dated, but clean. No issues with the room at all. There's loads of stuff to do, see and eat within walking distance. The location alone is worth a star. You want that, because the parking situation is pretty bad. I think there's like 12 spots (maybe less) for the entire building, and all of the spots are super-tight. I had a little Mazda and had to toss the wife out before parking so I could snuggle up to the wall to allow enough room to open my door. We dared not do any outings that needed the car, because there simply aren't enough spots and you risk losing yours if you go anywhere. But there's a public lot across the street that may have worked (didn't look into that). Overall a bit over-priced for what it is, but we'd consider staying there again purely for the location.

We had a less than average experience as the hotel room lacked cleanliness. Upon entry of the hotel room we noticed lots of long hair on the bathroom floor, and fingernail trimmings on and around the sink. Walls and furnishings had odd stains on them, and the beds seemed to have clean sheets but were sloppily put together. The staff was super friendly and helpful, however with the state of the room we had to give it such a rating.

Looks like room hasn’t been deeply cleaned in ages. Drawers are dirty , curtains are ripped and coffee machine is nasty never been cleaned. More worse to it found a lot of hair everywhere in the bathroom, in the bath tub also which is causing the drain line bathtub to be blocked and water does back up while having shower. Property manager really needs to look into these aspects.

Bathroom was not up to standard in cleanliness and function. Fan system didn’t work well and was very loud. Windows in the room had to be cracked during the day or the room would become stuffy and musty. The front desk staff were friendly and pleasant. Overall not a bad place to stay but definitely expected more based on advertising.

Staff was wonderful but the room could have been a lot cleaner. The curtwins has spots of food all over and a pillow on one of the beds had brown stains, the shower curtain had mold all along the bottom.

Overall, will likely not return nor suggest this hotel to our friends and family. The staff were great and very professional. The facility leaves much to be desired as it is quite dated. There is no ramp nor alternative to the stairs for anyone with mobility restrictions or heavy suitcases. The walls and floors are quite thin. You can hear all the street traffic along with the walking of people next door or even in the unit below your own. If your neighbors are talking you can also hear every word. The sheer curtains were torn and our bath towel had stains also.

Stay was good. Location is excellent. Room was nice and service staff was excellent. However, it should be made clearer in promotional materials that there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. Our room had a small fan and the windows opened, but even in late September, the room at times was uncomfortably warm.

We were very happy with the huge king bedroom corner unit with many windows. The hotel was very conveniently located near the conference center where we played bridge every day for a week. There are many nice restaurants walking distance. Front staff was very helpful and provided us with whatever we needed including more coffee, some dishes, cleaning as requested etc. I would definitely stay here again.

1 pubic hair in bathtub (wife checks with a fine tooth comb OCD), I had to fix the toilet inlet valve twice, and the bed was old and saggy. The staff were wonderful, and other than the 1 pubic hair it was very clean. The location for us was perfect, walking distance to our venues and restuarants. The also charge you extra for parking, $15.50 per day (surprise for us), but it was very secure gated underground parking.

The front desk staff wasn't very friendly. We drove around for 30 minutes trying to find a place to park just to check into the hotel. We tried calling the front desk but was put on hold while we drive in circles around the block. Finally we found a small space to park the car so we could go to the front desk. Then we where told that parking was under the hotel and we needed a key card to get in and that it would be a charge of 15 dollars extra a night, or we could try to find a park on the street with a parking meter. At this point i was very angry. The room was clean but the beds they said were queen size where actually double beds. The maids at the hotel are nice but don't talk much. I won't stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location. However, be aware that the staff only answer when asked; they are not proactive. For example, they did not mention at check-in that the pool was out of service. Housekeeping is not provided every day, and you need to ask if you want additional coffee pods for stays longer than two nights. Parking is available on the premises—it’s a bit small, but manageable if you’re not moving your car often. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. I visit Victoria often and have stayed at many other places too. This Quality Inn sticks out to me due to their friendliness and helpful customer service. The rooms are nice and the location is near everything in downtown Victoria. The staff is nice and helpful at all levels. The front desk is always available and helpful in making the customer's stay pleasant. I've spoken with the housekeeping in the halls and they were welcoming and friendly too. This hotels seems to be run very well with a focus on making the customer's stay enjoyable.

My stay at this hotel was extremely unsettling. Two male maintenance workers walked into my room just before I was about to shower, and the general manager's response was dismissive and blamed me for the situation. You don’t need a key to access common areas like hallways and stairs once you’re in the garage. When I mentioned this to staff, they admitted they’d raised this concern multiple times, but the GM ignored them. It felt unsafe knowing anyone could access guest areas. While alone in my room, two men knocked, asking to inspect the smoke detector. I was nervous and asked them to come back when my boyfriend was present. However, about an hour later, while I was in the bathroom with the water running, they entered without waiting for a response or confirming I was ready. If it had been seconds later, they would have seen me completely naked. This incident has been replaying in my head since. The front desk was shocked and said this was not proper procedure—they should have coordinated a specific time. I requested a refund and was directed to the GM, Daniel, who gaslit me, saying that since I agreed to an inspection later, they had the right to enter, even if I was showering. He refused a refund, stating we stayed the full time, though we requested to leave early and were told only the GM could approve refunds—and he was away the entire time and only addressing the situation days after it happened. Don’t support this GMs business and stay safe.

A good location for walking downtown. Parking is very limited under the hotel with very tight spaces. Can be difficult for larger cars to squeeze into. Once parked recommended to leave the car and walk or take a bus around town. No airconditioning, can get stuffy and is noisy if windows are opened.
