Great hotel and rooms for families. Good breakfast with view on the beach. The service and staff were exellent. The only thing missing was a pool at the beachfront. Besides that, it was very good.

Not a beach property. Can access ocean but no beach. Old dirty pool. Dated rooms. Needs updating desperately. Breakfast exact same every day. Staff very friendly. Near town. Property itself is ALL HILLS and STAIRS so be warned. Food is very bland . Very basic

After staying in the Prana resort for the first week which was lovely, we arrived here for our second week. The duplex was by a pool and was big and spacious but very old and tired as was the whole resort. The staff as with most thai people were warm and welcoming. The place just needs modernising and the two pool areas have very limited sunbathing areas so we ended up sitting on chairs on our patio which wasnt great. The pool had sand in for a week and cleaning was fishing leaves out and chucking chlorine in. The pools need to be near the beach to enjoy the views as at present there is an untidy sunbathing area which is not appealing. Overall ok but would not return.

The hotel pool was filthy and needed a good clean and I’m not sure they add any chlorine to it as the water was green! The daily cleaning of the room was poor, and clean towels missing everyday apart from the last day. We had a room with a plunge pool, the area around the plunge pool was in a bad state of repair and dangerous. Around the hotel was shabby and could do with more than a lick of paint. Breakfast was just about passable. On the plus side, all the staff we encountered were very pleasant.

We had a room with a pool balcony. The pool needed cleaning when we arrived and outside areas need refreshing and new paint. The staff were extremely helpful, pool was lovely and food was nice. However, the hotel is advertised as being on thr beach, but, the building is so far back that the tide is only out for 1 hour a day giving a tiny beach area, the rest of the time you have to access a dirty ladder that leads to the beach and use other properties facilities such as sunbeds if you want to spend any time on the beach

The staff here are amazing. All of them are lovely. They need a greater food and drink selection. Also they really need to knock down the unused huts near the beach area and build an infinity pool with a proper bar area there for bar snacks/dinks. This would pull in a lot of business from the beach. Need to resolve the entry exist points to the beach. The rusty ladder has to be replaced with a better permanent solution!

Along with Ray and the polite cleaning staff, it’s the people who deserve a high rating.

Not what you expect from a 4 + star hotel at all. It is worn out and discustingly dirty. The pool was so dirty that my kids didn't even want to swim. The room (two bedroom duplex by the pool) had nasty stains on the walls and brown stains on the bathroom. The master bed was really hard and worn out. The other bed was okay. Our stay was in the end of December, and there was no beach available at this time. We had to go a few hundred meters down Chaweng beach, but here we experienced to get kicked out by the other hotels (for just laying on our own towels on the beach!). We checked out three days early because of all that I mentioned, and asked to get the money back for the days we would not use. The managers were not cooperative at all and just dismissed our request saying they would not have time to book someone else in (not our problem). Our strong recommendation is to stay away from this hotel, as it is so worn out and not like the pictures at all.

Air con broke 1st night water flooded everywhere. took 2 hours to fix. No welcome drink as stated at booking. Was questioned about taking a umbrella upon checking out felt very embarrassed. Floor never moped once. In 6 days same bedding.

Had stayed here in 2018. Gardens and buildings well kept. Some rooms fabulous sea view. Lots of options along beach for eating.Not far from central Chaweng. Just small niggles, alot of steep steps. Pool small and enclosed. No guests at sunbeds, yet ran out of towels. Ant problem in room, safe not secured in wardrobe, room service food carried uncovered. All fixable...except the stoney entry into sea. Long hike in shallow water for a swim..but it looks beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Briza. The rooms were spacious with a lovely view. The bathrooms especially were our favourite part - very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff friendly. Its located close to many restaurants and 7/11.

Detta hotellet är i stort behov av renovering. Även området skulle behöva en stor uppfräschning. Poolen var kall men det var det minsta problemet. Kackerlackor som flöt runt i poolen Ja de fanns även på rummet. Frukosten gick att äta men inte någon höjdare. På dagtid är det ingen strand alls utanför hotellet utan du går direkt ner i havet från en brant rostig stege. Det är väldigt skräpigt och grumligt i havet just utanför detta hotell. Vi avbröt vistelsen och valde ett annat hotell.

My stay at the Briza hotel was nothing short of amazing, but it wouldn't have been this way without the professionalism and attention to detail that Ken, the hotel manager exhibited. He is a diamond in the rough, always eager to help and make the stay as comfortable as possible. His presence is difficult to miss, as he makes himself available from breakfast until late nights, making those staying at the resort a high priority. No request was too small. Early check-in? Done. Late checkout? Done. He truly made my stay memorable and comfortable and I would most certainly stay again. The rooms were also clean, staff were pleasant. I would certainly stay again!

We recently stayed at The Briza Resort and Spa in Koh Samui and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service provided by Ken and his team was nothing short of fabulous. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and their warm, friendly approach made us feel so welcome. Everyone at the resort was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, always ready with great recommendations on where to eat and what to see around Koh Samui. We booked a two-bedroom villa, which was extremely spacious and well equipped — perfect for a family stay. The comfort and practicality of the villa made it easy to relax and enjoy our holiday. If we had to mention any downsides, it would be that the beds were a little on the hard side and you couldn't walk straight out to a beach. That said, these were very minor points compared to the overall experience. The affordability of the resort, combined with the excellent service and lovely atmosphere, made it an outstanding choice for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Briza Resort and Spa and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

Have stayed at this hotel before and the experience previously was so much better. The room was tired, the air conditioning leaked and had to be repaired twice during our stay. Breakfast was poor at best, food generally cold no matter what time you went for breakfast and limited choices Stairs leading to beach were dangerous and although when mentioned to Ken they were repaired that morning, they should not have been allowed to fall into such a dangerous level of disrepair. I have to say that the activities in the hotel for the full moon celebration were excellent Sadly no longer the hotel of choice for us in Chaweng now, there are better hotels for the same price We stayed in a room with plunge pool, broken tiles in the pool and generally just tired and in need of refresh

We had a room with a plunge pool which we used quite often and it was nice to relax in to beat the heat, especially on evenings. Room was spacious and plenty of outside space to relax and hang washing etc. One slight annoyance was the fact mosquitoes somehow were getting in throughout the night even though we had all doors and windows locked and I got bit quite a few times even with repellent on. Breakfast was good and all the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this place based on the price and quietness of the resort.

Although listed as a 4 star property this is not 4 star by Western standards, more like a 3. The room is very dated and simple and needs some refurbishment. The bathroom/shower is very simply with minimal amenities, just one small bottle of shampoo and shower gel which was not replaced daily even when empty, and only got bath towels and no hand towels. When the room has its own plunge pool you should get more than 1 towel a day each. Constantly had to ask for more towels daily. The plunge pool is nice, could use a skimmer to use as often found some dead bugs in it but it is a tropical location so expected but would be nice to be able to skim it ourselves for a quick refresh. Breakfast was very basic. Wifi was very slow and spotty. Hotel is right on the beach and easy walking distance to other beach bars, the 7/11, and other places or just a simple 5 min ride into town. The Briza Resort was amazing. From the location (quiet but only a short walk to some great restaurants) and a mere 10 minute walk to the centre of Chaweng - so suitably away from the crowds but on the doorstep if you the night life. Booked a deluxe private plunge pool - made our holiday. It was fantastic and much larger than what I thought it was going to be. Also a great open space to catch the rays - a private little oasis! Breakfast was ok - standard I would say. Would absolutely recommend The Briza Resort, and thank you again! Great staff

We recently stayed at The Briza Resort and Spa in Koh Samui and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service provided by Ken and his team was nothing short of fabulous. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and their warm, friendly approach made us feel so welcome. Everyone at the resort was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, always ready with great recommendations on where to eat and what to see around Koh Samui. We booked a two-bedroom villa, which was extremely spacious and well equipped — perfect for a family stay. The comfort and practicality of the villa made it easy to relax and enjoy our holiday. If we had to mention any downsides, it would be that the beds were a little on the hard side and you couldn't walk straight out to a beach. That said, these were very minor points compared to the overall experience. The affordability of the resort, combined with the excellent service and lovely atmosphere, made it an outstanding choice for our family. After reading some reviews I was a bit worried about staying here, but honestly we we had a fabulous stay here. A large group of us stayed for 11 nights and were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were given connecting rooms with direct access to the lower pool. The rooms were very large, the air con great and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The room service was quick and easy, the food was tasty and the pool bar was lovely. They are doing the hotel up in stages, but we couldn’t fault it. All the staff were amazing, really friendly and very helpful. We had a small issue with a leak in one of the bathrooms and called reception and people turned up within in minutes to fix it - this is just one example of how great the staff were. Yes, as some reviews have said it’s on the older side, but we loved our time here. It’s away from the main hustle of the centre which was perfect for us as we could walk down the beach if we wanted to. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My stay at the Briza hotel was nothing short of amazing, but it wouldn't have been this way without the professionalism and attention to detail that Ken, the hotel manager exhibited. He is a diamond in the rough, always eager to help and make the stay as comfortable as possible. His presence is difficult to miss, as he makes himself available from breakfast until late nights, making those staying at the resort a high priority. No request was too small. Early check-in? Done. Late checkout? Done. He truly made my stay memorable and comfortable and I would most certainly stay again. The rooms were also clean, staff were pleasant. I would certainly stay again!

Nice and cosy hotel near the water. The staff was really helpful and always friendly. They have sunbeds by the water but unfortunately no beach at the hotel. When traveling with kids you will most probably go to the beach and there is a limited amount of places to rent sunbeds. But if you're on time there will be no issue. However other than that there isn't anything to complain about.

A beautiful quiet resort at the quiet end of chaweng. The staff were all wonderful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beach was beautiful and quiet. If you want a resort away from the hustle and bustle of central Chaweng, but still within walking distance then Briza is the perfect resort

The Briza Beach Resort is an excellent hotel in a not-so-great location. It is too far from the action to walk and despite the hotel being on the water, there is no sand / beach. Just a beach wall. We needed to use Tuktuks every time to go eating, drinking or shopping. Which was okay - but not ideal with children.

A very nice hotel right on the beach. About 15mins walk to the larger shopping area around Chaweng but nice and quiet here. There are still a few nice restaurants close by, Blue Turtle at the beach is good and there is a fire show every night. Avoid Your Place, food is horrible and service worse! The actual hotel is good, not luxurious but very comfortable and the staff are all very welcoming. One disappointing thing was with one of our rooms. We had a 2 bed villa but the second bedroom was not nearly as good as the primary one, I had expected them to be the same.

Leider war der Zustand der Dusche nicht ansprechend, sehr alt und verkalkte Armaturen. Handtücher waren auch schon altersbedingt etwas abgegriffen. Frühstück war gut, nur gab es in den 2 1/2 Wochen immer die selbe Wurst und den gleichen Käse, keine andere Auswahl. Die Zubereitung der verschiedenen Eierspeisen war exzellent. Vielen Dank an das super engagierte Hotelpersonal.

Bokat ett rum med en lite plaskpool och fick ett rum på undre våningen som inte hade som någon gång på dygnet. Fick byta rum och det blev en bättre upplevelse. Storleken på rummen var bra och badrummen var fina och rena. Personalen var ganska otrevliga överlag och detta är ganska ovanligt i Thailand. Frukosten var bra.

Stayed here a couple of times with family. Plunge pool rooms are perfect for quiet moments and private time. Aircon is fantastic and rooms are spotless. Hotel is rustic and a little dated but this adds to its charm and laid back feel. Fantastic location, on the beach. An easy stroll in to the brighter lights of Chaweng beach road and a nice, safe walk back to the hotel, along the beach with its many bars and clubs. Facilities and staff are great. Pools and areas are well staffed and clean. Not a shiny, polished 5star by any means but that’s not what Samui is about.

Good size clean rooms (booked 2 plunge pool rooms). Good location just north of the main town, so quiet at night, but close enough. Resort is on a slope, so pathways are quite steep, but a buggy is available on call if required. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well cooked. Beach bar food was also good and sensibly priced. The best part of the Briza, by a mile was the staff. They are all so friendly, fun and helpful, with nothing too much of a problem. Would definately recommend, and return.
