As always, this property was excellent. We took full advantage of all that this property offers including the pool, multiple restaurants, spa, health club, and concierge services. Other than one minor mishap at the lobby lounge during a busy time when we needed a quick bite, the service was exceptional. In particular, special recognition needs to go to the Concierge staff. We sought their help for many things including the DMZ tour, dinner reservations, shopping recommendations, and even a pharmacist. They were exceptionally good and friendly in their assistance. Special thanks to Crystal Lee and Ben for all of their expertise and help throughout our stay. Great overall experience!!!

야외 수영장 개방 시즌이라 어수선한 분위기와 특히 엘리베이터 사용시 대기시간이 너무 길어 불편했습니다. 개인마다 선호하는 호텔 성향이 있겠지만 시내로의 접근성은 떨어지지만 남산이 가까이에 있어 좋았습니다. 객실인테리어는 5성급 호텔의 느낌은 없었고 전반적으로 좋지 않은 냄새가 많이 났습니다. 가장 불만스러웠던점은 객실 청소가 오후 3~4시경에 완료가 된 점이예요

A very nice property with comfortable rooms. It’s on the expensive side and at the price I would expect to want or need anything. That said you need to reserve a seat by the pool, then there are certain mid day hours where you must leave so they can do maintenance which I suggest in doing in off hours. Yo get into the lounge on a weekend night, be prepared to wait in line. For the price I feel you can do better.

Nice hotel with definitely beautiful views. Friendly stuffs, nice restaurants. The only thing I would complain is the bathroom is too small for a 5 stars hotel. And it smells like bad sewer or something. P.s no public transportation, you can only take a taxi.

The lobby is super busy everytime. I went to The Shilla before going to Grand Hyatt and except the river view, everything is much better in The Shylla from the breakfast to the spacious room as compared to Hyatt. I used to go to Hyatt when i first came to Korea in 1995 but it is getting old

The rooms were really small. The website is a bit deceiving. Also, we wanted to eat breakfast 30 minutes before the ending of the breakfast time, and when we went to the restaurant, we were practically kicked out because of the time it was. How did know how long I would take to eat breakfast. I think it was because I did not have a pre-paid meal plan. Our party felt really mistreated. However, the staff in the lobby and the bar/restaurant were amazing all the time.

If you book the room on the river side you will have the "wow-effect" you are looking for. Even from the Lobby the view is stunning. The personal do everything for you, nothing to complain about. Of course in such an hotel where the demand is high with so many rooms it could be crowded and sometimes unpleasant during the breakfast time and at the pool, but this is how it is, they do there best to satisfy the client and this is also why people are going there. The Room-Service was very efficient and pleasant, the pool service and the Concierge too. Great job to all the staff.

All and all not worth it for the price. Rooms are small and somewhat outdated, our shower head kept falling while taking a shower… and you can hear EVERYTHING that’s going on in the hallways from inside the room. Lobby and ballroom were nice.

Our experience at this hotel was mixed. We arrived at the hotel at 6am very tired due to a flight, unfortunately, the front desk staff, especially Riley, had a very poor attitude, no service mind, and a dismissive attitude. She refused all our requests, and another female front desk staff also misrepresented our statement to the manager, lying that we said the extra night fee was too expensive for an early check-in. This miscommunication and lack of courtesy made us very unhappy and resulted in us staying in the hotel to recover instead of enjoying our time outside. On a positive note, our dining experience at the hotel buffet restaurant on all three days was excellent. The staff there, especially Tommy Lee, provided exceptional service and took great care of us. His attentiveness and professionalism greatly improved our overall impression of the hotel.

From the moment I stepped in, I felt so welcome! A big shoutout to Anica at the front desk—she was super sweet and let me check into my room 1.5 hours early (thank you, lifesaver! When I got to my room I literally gasped—the Seoul Tower was right there in the window like a postcard come to life! It felt like the city was saying hello. The whole hotel has this cozy luxury vibe, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your trip. Booking 5 months in advance, and arriving late in the evening to check in, I was disappointed to hear that our corner king room was the last one left and that it would be a handicap accessible room. I asked for a different room and after some searching we were upgraded to an executive king suite which was not only amazing but a pleasant surprise for our 5 night stay. Highly recommend this hotel with its professional staff, excellent service, and breath-taking views.

The property is located across from Namsan Park, which is very beautiful, and just a short 10 to 15 minute walk to Itaewon, which has a youthful and vibrant atmosphere. Staff were very attentive, especially Benjamin who helped us arrange travel to the airport on our day of departure. We had a great experience.

2박 이상이면 룸 메이킹을 매일 안 해주고 3일에 한번 정도 해주는 것이 정책이 것 같아요. 그래서인지 카펫에 먼지가 좀 많았어요. 하지만 친절한 직원분들이 타월이나 쓰레기통 비우기 등의 요청을 하면 바로바로 와 주셔서 괜찮았습니다. 카페 갤러리에서 간단히 저녁식사 했는데 재즈 음악 연주를 해줘서 너무 좋았어요.

I personally think this hotel is one of the most charming hotels in Seoul. The location is ideal, the view is amazing (calming), the facilities are very well maintained, and the overall sense of professionalism and service is top notch. However, I gave it a “Good” rating instead of “Excellent” because the food and drinks are quite pricey but I don’t necessarily think the flavors are on par with the price.

Check in was great despite how congested with a long line of wait. Check out was the worst while there was no waiting line at all, missed airport bus due to waiting for a reception to be available.
