The hotel is a little tired, in need of some TLC, but was adequate for a short stay. No aircon or fridge in room, also no coffee/tea making facility although there is a coffee machine in the lobby. On the plus side breakfast was good and the reception staff seemed to be on the ball.

Die Lage des Aldea ist per se gar nicht schlecht. Gelegen am Nollendorfplatz ist die Verkehrsanbindung sowohl mit Auto als auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln recht gut. Nachteil durch die Lage an Hauptstraße und Bahntrasse ist es relativ laut. Für kostengünstige 15 Euro pro Tag kann im Innenhof oder in der Tiefgarage geparkt werden. Zugang zum Parkplatz erfolgt nur durch klingeln an der Rezeption damit die Zufahrt geöffnet wird. Also auch hier ein Plus. Es gab 2 Zimmer Kategorien.Wir hatten die "einfachere" Kategorie gewählt. Die Zimmer sind mit dunkeler Holzvertäfelung verkleidet und einfach eingerichtet. Darauf waren wir auch eingestellt durch die Bilder und die Beschreibung. Leider waren die Bilder der Zimmer auch nur so für die Onlinepräsenz erstellt. Es gab ein winziges 40x80cm Kissen. Keine Tagesdecke, kein 80x80cm Kissen oder ähnliches, wie auf den Bildern suggeriert. Die Bettdecken waren dünn aber im Rahmen und die Matratzen waren auch okay. Die Umrandungen um Lichtschalter und Co. waren einfach speckig und braun von diversen Vormietern. Zumindest mal etwas Farbe und ein paar neue Schalter hätten schon viel ausgemacht. Allerdings war das Bad ein Wohnklo mit Schimmel an den Fugen. Es wurde oberflächlich über geputzt, die Heizung rostet an der ein oder anderen Stelle und Farbe platzt an einigen Stellen ab. Das war enttäuschend selbst wenn wir nicht viel erwartet haben. Bleibt noch der Service. Die Mitarbeiter waren gutgelaunt und sehr nett.

Gute Lage, leichter Zugang zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Saubere Betten und Badezimmer, aber der Teppich schien nicht sehr oft gesaugt zu werden. Nur einer von drei Aufzügen war während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthalts in Betrieb. Einfahrt/Ausfahrt zum/vom Parkplatz ist etwas umständlich, wenn man alleine fährt, man muss aus dem Auto aussteigen, um einen Knopf zu drücken, der nicht dort angebracht ist, wo der Fahrer ihn erreichen kann.

Es scheint ein grösseres Problem mit den Fahrstühlen zu geben.Sie funktionieren heute wieder nicht.Mit Long Corvid 7 Etagen zu laufen, ist nicht ohne. Ansonsten ist das Hotel gut.

Für die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Hotel super gelegen. Hotel jedoch etwas sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Teppichböden könnten mal eine Grundreinigung erhalten. Badezimmer ebenfalls sehr alt. Bar im Hotel gibt es nicht mehr. Mitarbeiter*innen an der Rezeption und im Servicebereich alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend

The furniture in the room was absolutely battered, with one of the bedside tables missing a handle, we only had one lamp, and the shower was extremely poorly designed- the head would move by itself to spray the entire bathroom with water when on. We completely lacked amenities and the staff were rude. The drawers of the desk in the room were filled with plastic waste?? Which was there the second we entered. Yes, the wifi is free, but it is also awful.

Leider haben wir ein altes Zimmer bekommen, es entsprach überhaupt nicht der Darstellung auf Expedia. Die Wände waren sehr dreckig, der Boden mit Flecken versehen.

Et gammelt hotel, hvor værelserne og især badeværelset er gammelt og slidt! Gulvene var beskidte, så meget at jeg ikke var glad for at skulle gå i bare tæer på det, under sengen var der øl kapsler og krummer, badeværelset var trangt, man kunne ikke være på toilet imens den anden var i bad, så ville man være våd, nå ja fødderne ville blive våde alligevel, selvom du gik derud senere, da der kun var et forhæng mellem bruser og toilet. Der var hul ind under det sted man stod og vaskede sig, mellem fliserne. Vi havde heldigvis et værelse på bagsiden af bygningen, ikke ud imod hovedgaden, hvor der var en del trafik. Morgenmads menuen var ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Desværre fik jeg ikke taget nogle billeder af lejligheden. Personalet var heldigvis meget behagelige og behjælpsomme.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht angemessen. Wir hatten Schimmel im Bad und die Toilettenspülung und Klopapierhalterung waren komplett verkalkt. Das Fenster war verdreckt und der Teppichboden hat sich vom Boden gelöst. Das Bett war leider auch nicht wirklich bequem. Ebenso ging einmal der Fahrstuhl nicht richtig zu, dieser hätte repariert werden müssen, stattdessen hat ein Mitarbeiter mit Gewalt versucht diesen zuzuschieben. Es ist leider nicht so optimal, dass diese schönen Zimmer im Internet zu beworben werden und stattdessen ein altes, dreckiges Zimmer bekommt! Das Hotel ist leider überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.

The place is in TERRIBLE condition. Mold in the bathroom, stained carpet, curtains not having properly, dirty walls, and rusted radiator. Could hear upstair guest walk around and the creak in their bed. Location is good to subway but not worth it. If staying here, bring eye mask and ear plugs.

The cleaning staff was very friendly and attentive, but the area that the hotel was in was kind of rough. I did not feel safe walking around, especially after dark. The biggest down for this hotel was the bet. They only offer two twin beds that you can push together to make a full. It makes her very uncomfortable sleeping, especially if you’re a couple.

Room for 5 on the 7th floor was extremely noisy as there was the metro opposite which ran from early in the morning until late at night. The room also smelled really bad when we first got there as if it had not been used for weeks and not been aired. It smelt like damp but this disappeared over the next few days. Also the curtains to the room didn't cover the windows properly which meant light filled the room from early in the morning. Luckily we didn't spend much time in the hotel so didn't impact on the enjoyment of our holiday. The room felt more like a hostel than a hotel! We did have the breakfast on the last say though which was very good.

I read the reviews and most of the lower rated reviews where pretty bad about the hygiene and overall state of the rooms. We didn’t see any of that. We had a really clean bathroom and the room smelled fresh. We picked the “style” type room and i think that those rooms are newer and more recently renovated. the other ‘standard’ rooms are more dated and less proper i think. It was really silent when we closed the window. So overall we had a great experience in this hotel.

SITUATED JUST OUTSIDE OF THE CITY ATTRACTIONS BUT VERY CLOSE TO THE UBAHN WHICH IS VERY USEFUL. THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND POLITE AND THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS BUT VERY DATED AND THE FURNITURE / CARPETS WERE WORN. SET WITHIN A NICE AREA AND CLOSE TO AMENITIES SUCH AS A SUPERMARKET. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DATED, I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

Die Unterkunft ist relativ heruntergekommen. Das Badezimmer sah zwar modern aus und war schön groß, die Fugen waren jedoch schimmelig, das Zimmer an für sich war zwar „modernisiert“ in der Einrichtung (wir hatten extra das Design-Zimmer gezahlt), jedoch sah es insgesamt trotzdem altbacken aus, insbesondere der Boden und die Holzmöbel. Die Wände sind renorvierungsbedürftig, initial roch das Zimmer eher nach altem Zigarettenrauch, sodass wir erstmal lüften mussten. Die Betten waren Katastrophe, es war kein Doppelbett, sondern zwei nebeneinander gestellte Einzelbetten, die sich allein schon beim Drehen verschoben haben, sodass ständig eine Lücke zwischen den Betten waren. Letztendlich waren wir nur zwei Nächte da und haben im Prinzip „nur“ da geschlafen, weil wir die ganze Zeit unterwegs waren; jedoch würde ich, trotz des verglichen mit anderen Hotels nur etwas günstigeren Preises, nicht nochmal dieses Hotel in Berlin nehmen.
Die Unterkunft ist relativ heruntergekommen. Das Badezimmer sah zwar modern aus und war schön groß, die Fugen waren jedoch schimmelig, das Zimmer an für sich war zwar „modernisiert“ in der Einrichtung (wir hatten extra das Design-Zimmer gezahlt), jedoch sah es insgesamt trotzdem altbacken aus, insbesondere der Boden und die Holzmöbel. Die Wände sind renorvierungsbedürftig, initial roch das Zimmer eher nach altem Zigarettenrauch, sodass wir erstmal lüften mussten. Die Betten waren Katastrophe, es war kein Doppelbett, sondern zwei nebeneinander gestellte Einzelbetten, die sich allein schon beim Drehen verschoben haben, sodass ständig eine Lücke zwischen den Betten waren. Had a great stay in one of the refurbished rooms (design). Bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows and crisp white sheets. Shower room excellent and clean. Communal areas are good, can't understand why some other reviews say different. There are vending machines for cold drinks, snacks and coffee which I found very useful. The staff were all helpfull. Breakfast is excellent, especially the service from Ali and the very lovely Ofelia, always with a smile, thank you.

O hotel em que ficamos não foi o mesmo que havíamos reservado. Após uma fila enorme no check-in, fomos encaminhados para outro hotel, no quarteirão ao lado, segundo eles da mesma rede. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. When I arrived there were no towels in my room and I was told I wouldn’t be able to get any until the next day. My tv didn’t work. This hotel is located in the heart of the gay area, but it was made very clear that the night staff was homophobic. I haired a guid to show me the night life and he was discriminated against. When I went down to verify that he was with me, they questioned if I was a guest and actually yelled at me. The entire rest of my stay, that particular staff gave me dirty looks and made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

The hotel location is very close to public transportation. The facilities are also clean and the staff are very friendly. They made sure that my room was cleaned every day. I appreciated them when I was struck in Berlin due to the train strikes as they were very helpful when I requested to extend my stay for a night. I was expecting to change rooms but they tried their best to have me keep my room. The staff were all very attentive to customers needs.

The room was basic. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and investment. Black mould in the bathroom, uncomfortable beds. Paid for a double room, got two single beds. Not enough bedding. Die Lage des Aldea ist per se gar nicht schlecht. Gelegen am Nollendorfplatz ist die Verkehrsanbindung sowohl mit Auto als auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln recht gut. Nachteil durch die Lage an Hauptstraße und Bahntrasse ist es relativ laut. Für kostengünstige 15 Euro pro Tag kann im Innenhof oder in der Tiefgarage geparkt werden. Zugang zum Parkplatz erfolgt nur durch klingeln an der Rezeption damit die Zufahrt geöffnet wird. Also auch hier ein Plus. Es gab 2 Zimmer Kategorien.Wir hatten die "einfachere" Kategorie gewählt. Die Zimmer sind mit dunkeler Holzvertäfelung verkleidet und einfach eingerichtet. Darauf waren wir auch eingestellt durch die Bilder und die Beschreibung. Leider waren die Bilder der Zimmer auch nur so für die Onlinepräsenz erstellt. Es gab ein winziges 40x80cm Kissen. Keine Tagesdecke, kein 80x80cm Kissen oder ähnliches, wie auf den Bildern suggeriert. Die Bettdecken waren dünn aber im Rahmen und die Matratzen waren auch okay. Die Umrandungen um Lichtschalter und Co. waren einfach speckig und braun von diversen Vormietern. Zumindest mal etwas Farbe und ein paar neue Schalter hätten schon viel ausgemacht. Allerdings war das Bad ein Wohnklo mit Schimmel an den Fugen. Es wurde oberflächlich über geputzt, die Heizung rostet an der ein oder anderen Stelle und Farbe platzt an einigen Stellen ab. Das war enttäuschend selbst wenn wir nicht viel erwartet haben. Bleibt noch der Service. Die Mitarbeiter waren gutgelaunt und sehr nett.

The hotel itself is pretty good overall. The pillows provided are far too soft for my liking, no firmness to them at all. The floors and walls are quite thin so footsteps are very audible in the room, there was always some sort of banging going on, and there's often people shouting and talking loudly outside on the street. It doesn't help that my room was above the entrance and people were loitering around it at night, thus being loud. The area lets it down as it's very sketchy at night. There's multiple prostitutes and their handlers under the train bridge and the adjoining streets that will and do approach you every time you pass by, which if you're coming back from the city centre then you will pass them.

The hotel is in a bit of a dodgy area. Even on my way to the hotel some people already made strange comments to me and tried to pull me into an awkward conversation. In the hotel, the staff was very friendly. They assigned me a room that was unfortunately already occupied. This happens, so no big deal. I then got a room, where I was forced to leave the building and go over a very dark parking lot to get to the next building. The room was spacious, tiniest TV I’ve ever seen. No telephone in the room. A very soft bed. Breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about, but good enough to fill your tummy. I would not stay here again. But once again, the staff was really lovely and friendly.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, sowohl am Empfang als auch im Frühstücksbereich. Badezimmer war sehr eng, nicht für Menschen mit Handycap oder sehr starkem Übergewicht geeignet. Ich würde jederzeit wieder einchecken.

I forhold til prisen pr. Overnatning så får man ikke meget. Kedeligt udvalg af morgenmad. Værelset var meget lydt. Meget larm fra gangene. Rengøringen var ikke imponerende. Ankom 3 timer før check In var muligt. Personalet virkede irriteret over vi var der før tid. Vi brugte hurtigt de 3 timer og kom tilbage til en meget serviceminded ansat. Fin placering af hotellet.. tæt på u bang station og gode spise muligheder.

When booking the room picture I received looked luxurious, but what I got was 2 single beds, a shower room in need of updating. Rusty radiator, loose on wall, rust on the enamel shower tray, toilet bowl was very very close to radiator and wall opposite. Not great for tall or larger guests! The only good points were the guy on reception did his best to get my a fan, no air con, room was stifling hot. He also changed my first room as the basin plug was jammed in! 2nd good point,breakfast room a d breakfast was great.
When booking the room picture I received looked luxurious, but what I got was 2 single beds, a shower room in need of updating. Rusty radiator, loose on wall, rust on the enamel shower tray, toilet bowl was very very close to radiator and wall opposite. Not great for tall or larger guests! The only good points were the guy on reception did his best to get my a fan, no air con, room was stifling hot. He also changed my first room as the basin plug was jammed in! 2nd good point,breakfast room a d breakfast was great.

To begin with, this hotel is advertised as a smoke free hotel. The room we received smelled like and old person had been smoking in the room for about 40 years. The receptionist was very arrogant and didn’t even want to help. I never leave a bad review since I have been in the customer service industry myself and know it’s stressful. However the behaviour from the employer was shameful.
