Excellent facilities - pools, squash court, recreational options.

Perfect for staying with family. Full kitchen & laundry facilities as well as decent restaurant for when we didn’t want to cook. It was quiet and had lovely outdoor surroundings with pools, tennis courts, gym etc

Expansive property featuring 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pools. Restaurant only open from 4.30pm this time of year. Room was excellent and spacious.

The gym equipment wasn't working properly and the sauna was out of order, the pool needs a good clean. The pics on the website are outdated and misleading. However the restaurant and staff were amazing

Sauna, gym, squash courts and outdoor pools all closed. Reflections cafe also closed, no room Service available and phones not working. Also had broken cupboards in kitchen of apartment, and room was not cleaned correctly upon arrival (food behind couch, champagne cork on gound, ice holder in freezer broken). Neighbours where quite noisy also. Tv control wouldnt work, wifi terrible. We were unable to use the tv due to these issues. Stay overall was comfortable. Staff where lovely.

Daily room service is not necessary but a nice touch. Resort decor is dated but very clean. Facilities are great with 2 swimming pools and situated right on the beach. We have stayed a few times. My only complaint is the noise from other rooms and doors banging, as it's an older property I assume. Definitely request a top floor appartment which would eliminate half the noise.

exceptional value for money. Love the fact that there was three swimming pools and a beautiful grounds. Wow the fit out is a little bit older competitive other hotels in this area by father best value for money.

Nice location with its own beach access. Abbey Beach Resort despite feeling a little dated has a nice feel and has great family friendly facilities. The indoor heated pool was great and the buffet breakfast was good value and yummy.

Had a nice couple of nights at Abbey Beach Resort. As advertised, it was a two minute walk to a beautiful calm sandy beach which allowed relaxing morning and evening strolls. Plenty of parking available. Resort is 6 km from downtown Busselton so a bit of a trek if looking to walk there. We stayed in a queen room and after speaking with a couple of other guests it was agreed that the rooms needed some tlc/upgrading. Dust on tv stand and food remnants on outside of microwave. Fridge worked great as did air conditioner. Would definitely return.

The room was very clean & comfortable. Excellent price.

The room we stayed in was tired and the furniture and decor needs an update. The carpet was stained and stretched, the curtains didn't close properly and the vertical blinds had strips missing. The kitchen area was clean but the cupboards didn't close properly and the bench area was stained. The room didn't have that welcome feeling and wow factor when you opened the door and walked in.

Dirty hotel

Good location and a clean room.

On checking into our room , i rang reception to request a room change as our room , was dirty, chairs outside filthy, , and the most critical was the wall on the balcony was covered in active mould, which i felt was a safety issue for my family, i was advised by reception, there were no spare rooms , so i didnt want to make a scene , We were short changed a robe , which house cleaning quickly sorted , , day 2, no tissues, as box was finished day before because there was only a few left . Overall , the experience was pretty poor

Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were lovely and helpful. Plenty of parking and the spa was great. Didn’t try the restaurant but the menu looked good. Would definitely stay there again.

Room clearly had odour of previous user of the room - cigarette smoke. And there were crumbs or something on the floor so asked for it to be cleaned. They offered to change rooms but I didn't have the energy to change rooms after only just arriving

Resort was lovely very well looked after & clean

Easy checkin. Room was large with a balcony that had a lovely view over the pool.

The property is very dated and needs renovation. Staff were friendly. It was clean and easy access to the beach.

Very roomy, the weather was shicking but we were warm and comfortable.

Abbey Beach Resort was suitable for an overnight stay. I did expect more. I booked a room that was meant to be two singles and we got a Queen Bed anyway as the single bed option was not available that night. The shower was COLD no hot water at all. Abbey Beach is starting to look Dated and could use an modern makeover including a new hot water system. My stay was disappointing.

Thin walls. Appeared to have workers staying there, who started very early . Noisy.

Some lights were not working in our room so they offerd us another room. The shower cubicle was leaking and had rusted the door frame, affected the plaster on the wall outside the bathroom and the soap holder was also loose, allowing water to get behind the tiles. The bed was comfy and the TV worked well.

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and comfortable. The resort had great facilities and a short stroll to the beach. Highly recommended.

Although the property presents well it wasn’t all that it seemed. We stayed for one night at the start of our trip and it was great for the price so we came back towards the end of our holiday to flop and drop for 5 nights.(bad idea) The nicest thing about this property is the polite and friendly staff, from grounds crew to housekeepers, hospitality and reception, all 5 star. Rooms were clean and comfortable but are dated and in need of maintenance and freshening up. We had 2 different rooms and both fridges would freeze our food no matter how far we turned them down. The rooms were extremely noisy and there seem no time limit for works to stop at night, we also had the groundsmen garage directly under our unit which made a sleep in impossible. The sauna was not working on both stays and all three pools were closed on the same day for maintenance and could not be used. The hire bikes require a lot of maintenance if you are planning any sort of extensive ride. The restaurant meals were average with limited choice for the cost. All said and done we have stayed at worse places but would rate The Abbey as ok for a short stopover.

The staff were super friendly and nothing was to much trouble

We were very disappointed with some of the hotel staff’s management of another group staying at the resort. We paid good money to stay at a property and we had our stay interrupted repeatedly. The other group were staying at the property as well as using one of the function rooms. We were waken early on the first morning of our stay, with a man shouting and yelling whilst using a microphone. When we asked the front office, we were told that the group was finished that day and there would not be further disturbance. That was not correct. In fact on the evening of that same day, we had the need to ask the management for help as we had shouting and drums at 10pm. The great service at the front desk stopped the disturbance, which we greatly appreciated They stated that the group was checking out the next morning so there would be no further issues. 7am the next morning the shouting and drums started again. This was a Sunday morning. When we approached management, we were told we were wrong and the group was not using the function room at the time. I then stated that they were and she could see for herself through the foyer doors. Seeing the night manager later, he was shocked with what I said. The group did not have permission to use the room at this time. Many areas of the hotel- lift, bathrooms etc were not clean. The lifts need a thorough clean. Some staff actually made our stay more positive but others were not helpful.

Staff on Reception were rude and unpleasant and unaware of the whereabouts of facilities. The whole hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. Bathroom toiletries are bottom end of the market and everything just seemed cheap. The one good thing going for the hotel is it’s location beside a very good beach

Check in room was not ready ,maintenance in our room I was told reception would call me when ready No call Nearly 2 hours still no call Went back to reception room was ready but I never received a call

We had an issue with the air con the staff was quick to rectify and offered us another room, staff is very friendly very happy with our stay

It is a beautiful place to stay in a wonderful location. Saddly the restaurant staff were slow, unprofessional and seemed unqualified for the task. Our room wasnt ready to checkin for a few hours leaving not only us but others waiting aswell.

I didn’t like that our room wasn’t ready to check in at 2pm. We had just unloaded our car and had to sit in the lobby for close to an hour. Other than that it was lovely.

Great location close to Vasse, between Busselton and Dunsborough right on Geograph Bay with direct beach access. Generally the property is looking a bit dated but the 90m2 apartment with balcony is still a nice place to relax after a day’s adventure. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet offering was the worst I’ve ever had and really let the place down.

Fabulous 4 night stay on our road trip of Western Australia. Everything that we needed. Walkable, close to the beach, swimming pools. Not far to town for shopping

Located away from the centre of town means less people. Beach stunning and quiet not to mention safe for all water activities. Children’s paradise

Accommodation was great, staff are awesome and great location close to the beach, indoor heated pool a bonus.

We stayed here 20 years ago and thought we’d have another look. It reminds us of a resort you’d find in Asia. Has everything on site - food, bar as well as pools gym etc. nice walk to the beach. Rooms very large with mini kitchen - we had a studio suite with a balcony overlooking the pool. Comfy bed and roomy bathroom. Bathroom could use an update but was clean with nice linen. We stayed for 3 days. Used the bar & restaurant and had good food & well priced drinks.

Room service food was very average,, buffet breakfast was great,nice and quiet, safe easy to get to and park, short 5 mins into busselton … will return

Front desk staff entrance awesome.. breakfast staff not good arguing with each other rude to visitors. Food dinner to our rooms great . breakfast food horrible couldn't eat sorry tried but not ...

The staff were all very helpful and cheerful, even though at times they were a little short staffed (most places are lately). Tap water tasted terrible, however there was always fresh drinking water at the front desk. Kitchen was well supplied with basic appliances, making it easy to prepare our own meals. Bed and lounge were very comfortable. Great shower as well. Restaurant and cafe had a good range of delicious meals. Coffee and cake were great too. Indoor heated pool was large and well maintained. Good playground plus easy access to the beach and beachfront path.

Overall pleased, but we think management need taking a view on staff numbers, e.g., reflections restaurant, staff doing a great job but they need support, waited 35mins for 2x omelettes…. They are too busy….. need someone else in the kitchen. We expect they take undeserved criticism due to delays through no fault of their own.

The resort was like a ghost town. Limited dining options. The 2 bars they have were closed even though the information package they gave us at check in said the bars are open from 4pm to 9pm.

It was a very peaceful and quiet stay and the closeness to the beach was awesome. The only thing I didn’t like was coming down to the bar to get a drink and wondering if it’s open or if we could get served. Just kinda felt awkward walking up to the bar and waiting for someone to serve us. Felt like we were Interrupting what they were doing. Other than that a very pleasant stay

Great location with Ocean Views Rooms were clean and comfortable Plenty of options for the kids to explore Buffet dinner was horrible; definitely don’t recommend it.
