This Hotel has it all. Gym , Spa, few restaurants with great food, excellent staff and even small casino. It’s not cheap to dine inn the hotel as the prices were close to Londons restaurants but food was almost worth a Michelin star:) Hotel also provides a list of private tours with a tour guide and car and driver included. Overall it’s amazing if you have enough money saved for your stay. We had breakfast included and everything was fresh and lots to choose from every day. Chefs would cook eggs , omelettes and pancakes on the spot. Juce was freshly squeezed and there were like 5 different cakes to try. Room was cleaned daily and bed changed on request. I would highly recommend this hotel as it was not far from main attractions and only 45 min from airport (depending on the Traffic)

This property has everything a traveler could want. The service is impeccablethere are 11 excellent dining options on site. It is extremely safe and security is of utmost confidence, very important in a city like Cairo. Location is on the Nile and our room indeed had a lovely view of this mighty river. The casino was small, intimate and opulent. Rooms well appointed with large terraces. Staff constantly checking that food, room and service was up to standard. 24 hour bank onsite. There is not one thing the guest is wanting that is not available. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our room was comfortable and clean. The amenities were great! I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water daily. We enjoyed the poolside restaurant and service. The prices were very affordable. The Italian restaurant wasn't our favorite, but the breakfast buffet was super. We utilized the gym and sauna almost every day. We also booked a day tour to the pyramids through the hotel which was a great experience. I would stay at this hotel again.

The structure is indeed of great historical value, it is a wonderful asset to Marriott, the maintenance process of such a diversly large property is a huge task & it is carried out seamlessly..staff all ..of them..are professional & helpful..they make you feel more like at home rather than a visitor...the beds are so comfortable that you can sleep relaxed the whole night...some rooms may need carpet renovations..there are many ways to do that. I look forwards to staying there again..thank you Omar elkhayam Marriott hotel & staff

Incredible location on the Nile in an older neighborhood. Short walk to shops and restaurants - worth venturing out! The hotel itself has historical charm and is huge. Fitness facility one of the nicest and well equipped that I’ve seen in all my travels.

The entire staff goes above and beyond. Special shout out to Maria in the pink jacket! House keeping was great. Restaurants were nice. Pool attendants did a great job. This property was under some mild construction but you will easily forgive that for the rich palace history and amazing detail. Very happy with our stay.

Big hotel on the side of the river nile had a room with the view of the nile river, easy check In. Only issue was our room smelled heavy of cigarette smoke and our air con was also bringing in cigarette smell into our room, which made it difficult to breathe and sleep in as aircon vent right above bed.

Si quieres un lobby bonito, este es tu hotel, pero la habitaciones son viejas, todo su mobiliario antiguo, la alfombra desgastada y vieja que da la apariencia que estuviera sucia, hasta me daba asco arrodillarme porque algo se me cayó y tuve que buscar, la puerta de ingreso toda rallada de lo viejo, el baño los filos de la pared y techos rotos, el espejo terrible, la ducha es simple, hasta el hotel más económico tiene ducha española pero este hotel no , increíble! el agua de la regadera pasaba al lado de inodoro y se formaba un poso de agua. Toda la habitación filos de los mobiliarios sucios con polvo. Para ser un hotel de la categoría de los Marriot deja mucho que desear, no lo volvería a tomar porque para el precio que se paga encuentras hoteles pequeños y mejores.

The restaurants/food is really good. Room service comes at 8:41pm to clean the room nightly even though I asked for the room to be cleaned at 8:45am. It's an older Marriott that they are doing their best to maintain. The carpet is badly stained in the hallways and the room. Replacing them would change the whole experience. The beds are super soft. I love firm mattress. Over a good experience I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful property at a great convenient location. The staff were professional and extremely helpful. Hotel and room were clean and organised and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The only thing I would request would be the provision of daily water bottle in the rooms. However highly recommended you will love it!

Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. It was lovely to have a balcony! There were lots of amenities available. Staff was friendly. Check out was slowed down considerably though as they were late in bringing our luggage. Our uber had to park and wait as staff went to find our bags. The cost of the room was very high ( over 200 usd per night) making a stay of more than 2 nights impossible.

All good. Staff and location were good. Price was high for the un-updated rooms, furniture. Could use a refresh. Tour services very expensive, recommend booking throu aviator.com. Traffic busy around hotel as well. View is spectacular of Nile and near to great dining at pier 88.

Had a 1 night impromptu stay at the Cairo Marriott. I would have stayed for an additional few days although the rates were beyond justifiable. The room itself was large and spacious. We were overlooking the carpark so not a great view but we weren't in the room much anyway. The property is quite large and there are not wonderful sign posts directing you to the lobby so if you just arrive it's a bit of a maze to figure out where to go. The main building is beautiful and there's plenty to take in. The gardens are also beautiful and peaceful. Pro's Good location Large and spacious rooms Quite a few dining options and the meals we tried were quite good Con's Bathrooms are dated Our bedside phone didn't work at all and only the one beside the toilet did which was annoying. Plus the phone that did work kept falling off the wall. Service was slow in the restaurants Overall, I would stay here again, although next time I think I will book the executive lounge access.

O hotel é muito bonito, tem uma parte histórica, à noite todo iluminado fica mais bonito, bem localizado. Mas, é muito grande, com muita gente. Ao ficar hospedado, fique num quarto com vista para o Nilo.

i had a pleasant stay only for 2 issue,1- uber takes long time due to the security check up, security enters empty taxis and that is waste of time, sometimes i had to wait for more than 30 min and uber is 3 min away waiting in the line security must not enter empty taxis just because they know him and he might get lucky to pick up customers that is waste of people time who booked a car already 2- noises from other rooms like bangs on the wall and moving furniture, called reception and security more than 3 times for 3 consecutive nights and problem was not solved plus maintenance was fixing one of the room with noises early morning, had bad sleep for dew nights due to noises from customers and maintenance

The Realestate is wonderful and Rudwa in reception was exceptional. Front desk were great. Room service folks were great when we needed them. Front area cafe attendants were my favorite people except one complainer. Arabian/Egyptian nights people were great. Husam and Tarek managers in promenade were great BUT half the people wearing blue shirts in the promenade area were unprofessional. They fought with each other everyday. They didn’t get the orders right and they were a pain in the ass in every way to me and to others. Staff disagreements and problems should be behind closed doors. For quality Marriott location and beautiful room, it’s too bad those few staff members left a bad taste in our mouths. Also when the food sucked the orders came wrong, myself and my wife ordered from Talabat (an uber eats like app), the front gates stopped the order and it was an ordeal to get a bill boy to deliver it. Even though we paid everyone great tips there was a common feel from all staff members in the bloody hotel that they are the guests and we are bothering them. I’m Egyptian and my wife is Irish and we had the same experiences separately. That’s why the rest if the rating dropped to 6 out of 10. Bottom line we weren’t all that impressed for a Marriott. Oh and they are constantly drilling and fixing stuff. Constantly.

They didn’t get the orders right and they were a pain in the ass in every way to me and to others. Staff disagreements and problems should be behind closed doors. For quality Marriott location and beautiful room, it’s too bad those few staff members left a bad taste in our mouths. Also when the food sucked the orders came wrong, myself and my wife ordered from Talabat (an uber eats like app), the front gates stopped the order and it was an ordeal to get a bill boy to deliver it. Even though we paid everyone great tips there was a common feel from all staff members in the bloody hotel that they are the guests and we are bothering them. I’m Egyptian and my wife is Irish and we had the same experiences separately. That’s why the rest if the rating dropped to 6 out of 10. Bottom line we weren’t all that impressed for a Marriott. Oh and they are constantly drilling and fixing stuff. Constantly.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our room was comfortable and clean. The amenities were great! I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water daily. We enjoyed the poolside restaurant and service. The prices were very affordable. The Italian restaurant wasn't our favorite, but the breakfast buffet was super. We utilized the gym and sauna almost every day. We also booked a day tour to the pyramids through the hotel which was a great experience. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is great. It’s what’s you’d expect from a chain hotel. BUT as a woman travelling solo, I didn’t have a smooth time there. First night and someone tried to open my door twice - thanks got I always have a lock (that locks hotel doors from the inside) with me. Complained to redemption and they apologised but nothing was done. 4 days later another knock and open trial: it was a man saying he had complimentary chocolates for me at 9PM. In what world a normal woman would open the door to a man she doesn’t know this late? Hotel needs to review that and not only just apologize. I wish I had felt safer.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. It was lovely to have a balcony! There were lots of amenities available. Staff was friendly. Check out was slowed down considerably though as they were late in bringing our luggage. Our uber had to park and wait as staff went to find our bags. The cost of the room was very high ( over 200 usd per night) making a stay of more than 2 nights impossible.

I can’t say enough good things about the state we had at the Cairo Marriott hotel. I unfortunately had a fall the day before a tour was supposed to start, and we had to book additional nights. The staff went out of their way to help us. They went above and beyond in helping us. This would start with them seeing me arrive in a wheelchair and giving us a room that would be more comfortable given my injury, to the next morning Ali Yousef, who was from the house, cleaning staff, seeing the injury and letting us know there was a doctor on staff who could come and see me. Because of Ali‘s help, I was able to get in for emergency surgery within 12 hours. After surgery, everyone went out of their way to help, this included, Clara, Maria, Nadine, and others at the concierge desk. In the lounge, Behairy, Mousad and Mounir, and many others, truly the entire lounge staff, would ensure that I was taken care of. In the hair salon, they were able to wash my hair, which I couldn’t do on my own. For 12 days, under what were very difficult circumstances, everyone was as kind and as good as could be. I went to the hotel, knowing no one, and left with a new family. On top of all that, the hotel itself is beautiful, and we were able to do the tour of it while I was recuperating. Our room was wonderful, and the food very good.

The hotel services are weak. The restaurants in the garden area are fine but the staff realy needs inductions and training example staff moving cleaning equipments all time infront of the guest, very annoying. Also cleaning while the guests relax and enjoy the meal and outdoor atmosphere. Should be the cleaning done before guests or at nights or in quiet times? Receptionist very rude, in order to pay the accommodation needs to be the reservation done by egyptin even though i show my egyptin ID was not enough but it was fine in le meridien Airport and fairmont hotels even without showing egyptin ID i have paid with EG pound. The check-in time is at 15 but the receptionist made us wait until 17 and she gave us a room with parking view and broken shower, water doesn't drain as seen in photos room nr 333. We have asked non smoking room but we can smell the smoke of cigarette. The accomodation price for one night is over 7 000 EG pounds 240 us dollars not worth the money. Bad service and old furniture equipment room, advice with the same Mount we have paid to fsirmoand was excellent excellent service. I recommend this hotel if the price from 100-140 us dollars at max.

Stayed here for our honeymoon! Upon arrival I needed medication and there was a pharmacy on site - the medication was delivered to me past midnight to my room! I was amazed by how prompt and easy it was. We stayed in the zamalek tower on the 19th floor with the view of the Nile River…. Wow! 5 star view!!! The hotel is located in a convenient location. It has a lot of character and very safe. The staff is helpful. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Property is really nice. You can tell that they are trying to maintain this hotel, but it's aging and may be time for renovations. The spa never has availability whenever I went. The Egyptian Nights restaurant has really delicious food. Keep in mind that service is extremely slow so don't go to the restaurant or any restaurant in Cairo hungry because you will be waiting awhile. Overall my stay was nice and I will stay again.

Perfect spot to come back to after a day in downtown Cairo. Concierge was great at getting us a guide to the pyramids and Sphinx. We learned a lot and had a wonderful day. We walked all over the island and had a lovely dinner. Dinners and desserts on site were delicious. The ample breakfast buffet was more than we could possibly enjoy in one sitting so we were pleased to have three mornings to try everything.

The breakfast was amazing, the restaurant selections were varied, we ate at the Egyptian nights restaurant and it was very good. The main building (the palace) is very beautiful. It’s a great location, the staff were wonderful, and I felt very safe. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The restaurants/food is really good. Room service comes at 8:41pm to clean the room nightly even though I asked for the room to be cleaned at 8:45am. It's an older Marriott that they are doing their best to maintain. The carpet is badly stained in the hallways and the room. Replacing them would change the whole experience. The beds are super soft. I love firm mattress. Over a good experience I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location and exquisite service. We enjoyed our time. Sampled all the restaurants at the hotel - Egyptian Nights, Tuscany Italian Restaurant and Roy’s Smokehouse. Fantastic service from the staff. I travelled with husband and three adult kids.

The amenities were plentiful, the morning buffet was delicious, views of the city and the Nile River, it's close to lots of great restaurants and activities on El Gazirah. We would 100% stay here again. We also stayed at the Sofitel which was much more younger crowd (our age), trendy, and also beautiful, so just keep in mind this Marriott tends towards the slightly older refined crowd, rather than young and hip.
