My weekend stay at Steinberger Icon Parkhotel was perfect! It’s a beautiful hotel. This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a luxurious place to unwind after a day of hitting the shops! You are in the perfect location to partake in high-end shopping (it’s so good) and there is also a beautiful park to walk if you’re looking for some nature. You’re also right next to old town if you want to see their night life. The subway is right around the corner and it got me to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle for a concert with no problem. The hotel staff is amazing and Georgia was so helpful during my stay. The wait staff at Jones were courteous, professional and made amazing suggestions each time I had a meal there. The food is so delicious, the wine is great and you must have the dessert pastries, you will not be disappointed! Also a great place to stop in for some coffee. My room was also fantastic. The bed was comfortable and I loved the pillows Don’t miss out on the pillow menu like I did (you can buy them)! The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room and I didn’t even have a suite. It was spacious, had the perfect closet and the bathroom was really nice. The turn down service and chocolates every night (and the macaroons that one day) were much appreciated! The workout and sauna facility is also top notch. I left feeling pampered and refreshed! You won’t be disappointed. Book your stay and enjoy!

Desværre var værelset slet ikke rengjort. Overflader var fedtede. Glas/ kopper var ikke vasket af. Meget beskidt på gulvet. Ikke fyldt op med kleenex osv, Safeboks virkede ikke, måtte låse vores værdigenstande i bilen, når vi var ude af hotellet. Sengetøj blev heller ikke skiftet.

It was a long wait for the check-in and the young lady doing it did most of the things wrong. No one even asked to help with the luggage despite the fact that there was a staircase to the room and I had a big suitcase. The room looked dated, had a view over the fans on the yard and most of the lamps were unplugged and I had to crawl on the floor to put them in. The lock did not work so housekeeping and other staff came in 5 times when trying to dress. Next time, I will select another hotel in Düsseldorf. This was a sad experience.

Thank you to the staff of this hotel. They provide us with replacement rooms upon our requests. Upon our arrival, the first room had towels on the floor beside the bed snd the bed sheet had stains on it. The second room had urine odor. The third room was a remodeled and an upgraded room. The hotel is in a nice area close to shopping areas. Breakfast was great. Thanks again.

If you are considering another hotel - choose that one. İf you stay at this hotel you will be made a nervous wreck. There is no understanding of guest relations at all. The Reception staff is not interested in making the guest feel welcomed. Their attitude is "You should be happy we accepted you to stay at this hotel. There is not one good thing about this hotel. Houskeeping is terrible. We stayed at this hotel 4 nights and the glasses and cups were never replaced. Room service never answers the phone. Drinks in the mini bar are never refilled. I am a VIP by Expedia and I checked in with a Platinum Amex but nevertheless they didnt want to give me an upgrade although they offered it for an extra charge of 60.00Euros a night. After some discussions they gave the upgrade without the extra charge. But everytime we needed to correspond with the hotel staff it was very unpleasant. The whole staff needs to take lessons in guest relations immediately. They must be made aware that this is a hospitality sector - not a correctional facility.

Wir erhielten ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Kö. Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und renoviert. Das ebenfalls renovierte Badezimmer ist elegant und mit der ebenerdigen Dusche auch behindertengerecht. Ganz wunderbar war der niederländische Nachtportier! Leider wurden wir nachts um 1:00 Uhr und um 1:30 geweckt, da ein lautes Piepen ertönte, welches sogar vom Nachtportier am Telefon gehört wurde. Als der technische Support auf tauchte, verstummte das Geräusch…Trotzden wurde das Zimmer hell erleuchtet, um der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen. Das war sehr gewissenhaft… Leider konnten wir danach erst gegen 4.00 Uhr wieder einschlafen…..

In der Zimmerkategorie Deluxe Grand, gab es leider nur dunkle Zimmer zum Innenhof. Das erste Zimmer hatte nur ein Oberlicht. Das zweite Zimmer war besser, aber nicht wirklich einladend. Dazu kam, dass an dem Abend eine Geburtstagsfeier vom Hotel veranstaltet wurde. Die Musik ging bis um 2h nachts, teilweise so laut, dass die Gläser und Scheiben im Zimmer vibrierten. Der Hinweis an die Rezeption hat leider nur wenig Effekt gehabt. So etwas habe Ich in einem 5 Sterne nicht erwartet. Sehr enttäuschend.

We got “the upgrade” but room we got was SO small that we could not even fit our two suitcases in there and we could even open them properly. Also, the room was facing a flat wall which was not nice at all. This was not what we are used to get from Expedia partner hotels. Luckily we stayed one night only.

Nachdem uns im Leonardo Boutique Hotel trotz bestätigter Zimmerreservierung das Zimmer nicht nur verweigert wurde, sondern wir darüber hinaus vom Rezeptionisten noch beschimpft und bedroht wurden, waren wir in diesem Hotel wie in einer anderen Welt: Sehr freundlicher, herzlicher Empfang, immer zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolles großzügiges Zimmer. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Und die Lage ist wohl die beste in Düsseldorf: sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Insofern war das unschöne Erlebnis im Leonardo Boutique Hotel am Ende ein Glüchsfall!
