The staff was quite average, below expectations and what it should be for a Marriott affiliate. Rooms were so disgusting, stinky and dirty.

Nice enough, very average. Is a bit tired decor and could do with a refresh, but that didnt really bother me - it was also cheap. Only minor issue was it happened to be 30 degrees in Essen and the hotel doesnt have air conditioning, so it was a bit warm overnight.

Access to proper gym over the road. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Dining options not always open in hotel however lots of options outside.
