Decent hotel with a fantastic location right next to Geneva’s train station. Staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet was great, but the rooms badly need an upgrade. I’m genuinely surprised and impressed with how small they were able to make the bathroom. Also, the AC really struggles in the heat, so make sure to immediately turn it on max once you arrive if it’s hot outside.

What a quaint, lovely hotel! Fantastic location, near all the main sights and a free Geneva transport card included! The rooms were traditionally styled and the boat statues on each floor of the hotel were a lovely touch. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a problem with our travel adapters and the staff were more than happy to help! Would definitely recommend!

A great hotel right opposite the train station with friendly staff. We were sent a Geneva travel pass by the hotel 3 days prior to our stay which allowed us travel for the duration of our stay. We used this to catch a train from the airport into Geneva. The trains run really frequently and it took only 7 mins to get into the centre. We booked a superior room and the bed was super comfortable and bigger than a double so we had plenty of room after walking all day. The air conditioning wasn’t as cold as we would have liked but we opened some windows to let some air in and cool the room down. The only issue we had was that there are no USB charging points in the room. We asked at reception and they did provide us with a travel adaptor and an additional adapter to put into it with USB connection. The travel adaptor worked but the additional USB adapter didn’t. We got round it with an English plug we put into their travel adaptor so it all worked out in the end but definitely one to be aware of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel though for the friendly staff and great location.

Very convenient location right by the station, the area has lots of food, transit and shopping options while still feeling very safe. We were very grateful for the air conditioning in the 40 degree heat! The room had a fridge and kettle. We didn’t get the breakfast, too expensive at 16 euros a person, but the co-op was 2 minutes away for pastries etc. If you will be using local trams or buses ask at reception for your free transit pass

Nice hotel, room was a decent size, and had a comfy bed. The hotel is directly across the road from the train station, ideal if you have late arrivals or early departure. Easy walk down to the lakefront area as well, and an underground shopping centre is almost directly out the door. Lifts are tiny, even more so than usual for European hotels, in the smaller of the two lifts, myself, my bag & backpack took up the whole lift space. Plenty of restaurants around, but all are very expensive as you’d expect in Switzerland.

Lovely hotel, very good location and easy to get everywhere from the hotel. Train station opposite which is ideal getting to and from airport. Only had breakfast, small room but wasn’t busy when we went and had enough options - bacon, eggs, pancakes, fruits, pastries, cheese and meats etc. only downside was the size of the lifts, tiny! Was a struggle to get 2 people and 2 suitcases in it so not sure how wheelchair users/parents with prams would cope. Overall would stay here again if we come back

It is a perfectly fine three star hotel close to the main station so convenient if you’re traveling by rail. The hotel itself is very modest, but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and very helpful.

The staff did a wonderful job! The floors in the bathrooms were so clean at times they actually looked wet because it's so glassy clean. I don't remember if we booked the largest size room that this hotel offers but as we have been traveling for a number of weeks, having three bags in the space of this room was challenging. The new provide shelving very very well. Breakfast was well worth the price and the convenience. Disadvantage although we did not really hear much noise is that it is directly across from the station. Many might find that in advantage if you are very adept at using public transportation as the ground rail system was there also. There is no valet or porter and no place to park in front of the hotel to drop off your bags. You have to transport your bags from the car in the parking garage and then take the elevator up to the street in to railway system.

Este hotel esta a todo el frente de la estacion principal de trenes de Ginebra. Tienes muchos restaurantes al rededor y es muy facil de caminar a los lugares emblematicos de la ciudad. Igual es una ciudad en donde hay muchaa opciones de tranvias y buses etc. La habitacion muy pequeña, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien y al abrir la.ventana era muy ruidosa. El baño Ok. La decoracion del hotel muy anticuada y fea.

The room was beautiful but the bed was not king sized despite claims to the contrary. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work but it wasn't until my last night that I noticed there was one. In Europe, duvets are the standard but it's just to warm. Requested a top sheet and it was provided.

WiFi Didn't work in my room not on my Iphone 13 pro 2 years old and on my Mac computer. The night receptionist said there must be something wrong with both of them. Outside the hotel they have no problems connecting to the internet.

This hotel was lovely with very helpful staff- thank you for the converter! Perfect location, huge breakfast in a lovely room. I stayed in 104, which was huge! And freshly remodeled. They said that the rooms on the 4th floor and above have not yet been remodeled. A colleague stayed up there and said her room was small and not yet remodeled. One thing to note is there is construction on the building next door that starts at 8am during the week. The heat is strong and not really adjustable so I kept the window open. That ment that I heard the construction in the morning. The windows are very sound proof so, if I’d kept them shut, I would not have heard anything. I will stay here again when I’m here next year for a conference at the UN. It’s a quick, easy and frequent tram to the UN.

We just stayed here overnight on our way to a wedding. Room was clean , bed was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. We were able to check in early. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient to the train, Lake and Old town.

I’ve stayed at the Suisse many times. Staff is always outstanding, as is service. Room is comfortable and surprisingly quiet when windows are closed. Very convenient to train station and an easy, pleasant and safe walk to old town and the lake. Remember, no air conditioning until end of May (it’s Switzerland). Plenty of dining options, and a market is just a 3 minute walk.

I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Geneva.

I stay here often because it is near the train station and often my plane/train arrives too late to get home. This time, checkin took around 30 minutes because the clerk helped 2 women plan excursions instead of kindly request they come back when there were not 5 people waiting to check in. I was lucky to be next in line, the others waited far longer. I requested a wakeup call but it never happened. I was not offered or given a transport card, which is automatic for hotels in Geneva. I'll stay in one of them next.

If you are travelling by train it doesnt get more convenient than this. From the bottom of the train station the concourse goes under the street then an escalator goes up to about 20 feet from the door of the hotel. Walking distance to river, old town and many interesting spots. We walked to the united nations in about 15 min, but the tram also stops right out front. Many restaurants in the area, and a Starbucks out the back door. Room was small but very nicely appointed. My pet peeve with hotels is a lack of counter space in the bathroom, but this one delivered in a big way. Loved it. My only complaint was the breakfast. At 18F which converts to approx $30 Cdn coffee was terrible, selection was limited and it was understaffed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location near the main Train Station. Walking to the River and Lake is just a few minutes. All public transportation around the city begins right out the front door. Beautiful quiet room with comfortable bed. Abundant food options nearby. Excellent stay.

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Geneva, directly across the street from the train station. With plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Geneva!

The location is great for its proximity to both the station and for walking across the water to the old city. Pleasant staff, good wifi, and very nice rooms, with a refrigerator and a kettle, which I appreciated!

Nice hotel, room was a decent size, and had a comfy bed. The hotel is directly across the road from the train station, ideal if you have late arrivals or early departure. Easy walk down to the lakefront area as well, and an underground shopping centre is almost directly out the door. Lifts are tiny, even more so than usual for European hotels, in the smaller of the two lifts, myself, my bag & backpack took up the whole lift space. Plenty of restaurants around, but all are very expensive as you’d expect in Switzerland.

Hotel Suisse was right across from the train station making it a perfect stop for a one day layover. The area was walkable with tons of city life right at the your doorstep. There are a number of restaurants within a few hundred meters. Old Town was only a 15-minute walk, and was beautiful. The included breakfast was a nice touch, with bacon & eggs, crepes, toast, jam, fresh vegetables, meat/cheese, fresh juice and coffee. Would stay here again if we stop through Geneva.

Breakfast was very good although on a Sunday morning they had 2 staff working, so some of the tables were left with used dishes and took a long time to clear. Some breakfast items such as the orange juice, bacon and croissants had been empty and missing for longer than they should have been. On the Monday morning with less guests, the breakfast was exemplary. Room was great, it was a studio room, with a fridge, microwave, kettle and utensils all supplied, along with kitchen roll, washing up liquid, teas, coffee, bottled water etc. Bed was comfortable and housekeeping was excellent. Shower was large, water pressure not great, but adequate.

Stayed here for one night. Very convenient for rail station and walking distance to Lake Geneva and sights of the City. Friendly staff, extremely clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast. Definitely recommend!

The room did not look like the pictures and was more of a run down hotel even cleanliness wise but luckily this was a I just need to get some sleep kind of night since we got in around 10p and had an 8am train the next day. I’m just happy I had chosen a different hotel room for our last night back in Geneva. The other plus side was just how close it was to the train station and was still able to go get Starbucks around the corner

That area of the city can be a bit noisy at night, so if you like to keep the windows open for the breeze, a set of earplugs might be a good thing to pack. If you want the downtown Geneva experience without the budget-busting prices of the waterfront hotel, Hotel Suisse is a great choice! The included city transit pass is a great perk. The hotel should send it to you via email a couple of days before arrival. Watch for it.
